Have to preface this review by saying that I grew up very close to what I considered the slider home in White Castle. That being said Chicago hamburgers sliders far outweigh what I had as a kid as far as quality. The buns are a whole lot fresher, the meat is fresher and doesn't have that Frozen aftertaste and the toppings are awesome. I had a side of cheese fries with some very hot cheese sauce just a warning. Would have been a little bit better if the fries have been naturally cut as they taste a little more out of the bag and then I like but still a decent side. If you're from Chicago the scenery in this place is incredible. They have tons of posters all sorts of memorabilia from the Cubs, Bulls and the Bears. As a hockey fan I wish they had some more Blackhawks stuff. This is a can't miss place for some good food, really awesome staff and really good people to chat with. I don't recall it ever this busy. During weekday lunch hours parking is atrocious. Street parking seems limited too. Service is efficient and quick to answer any questions. Food is cooked to order and then your number is called. I had to go with the usual, a slider. Small, thin beef patty with chopped onions, pickle, mustard, catsup, and cheese if you're doing a cheeseburger. The bun is nothing more than a dinner roll. The inside is tacky -- with sports posters everywhere, arcade games, real Chicago street signs (think Kedzie, Cermak, Paulina, and Southport), and old newspaper clippings and tons of Best of Phoenix awards scattered throughout. Vinyl booths line the front of the building with plastic patio tables as well. I heard good things about their hot wings and hot dogs, so will def be back to try. This is, hands down, the best place in town to get a Chicago dog. I've been going there for nearly 10 years now. I always order the hot dog because it reminds me of being at home in Illinois. They're just perfect. Every Friday the owner of the company I work for springs for lunch for all 30 employees and today I had the pleasure of picking our order up from Bob, Chicago's owner.
