I have multiple units and have re-carpeted them numerous times over the years with the carpets lasting anywhere from 3-6 years. This was the first time I went away from what's worked for me in the past and used the sales guys recommendation of the berber carpet and in less than a year it snagged. I gave the sales guy a chance to fix it but he said it couldn't be done. Again, he was a nice guy, but the amount of business he lost from me alone is quite extensive. We worked with Dan at Great Floors to replace carpet with engineered hardwood in the two bedrooms…read moreof our condo. While the job was completed at a reasonable price, it was more trouble than it should have been. I'd choose another company if I had to do it over again. Despite paying Dan to handle all aspects of the install, his contractors relied on my condo building engineer to complete some of the work, and even left early before the job was finished. When Dan sent a final payment request without following up on the end results, I messaged him to let him know there were some areas that required touching up. As a paying customer, I didn't think it was unreasonable to let him know that some areas were not completed to my satisfaction, but he didn't respond well to this communication and got very defensive. Another resident in my building reported a similar experience with Dan. Eventually, one of his contractors came back out and begrudgingly completed the requested touch-ups. A little less than a year after the install, I had some issues with an area of the install. I reached out to Dan for recommendations, but he never responded.

I was also selling a condo which had very worn floors that needed refinishing. Dan Corvo came, evaluated & made recommendations that were all amazing. For the bungalow, he suggested I go for a darker color to match the wood. He asked something like, " do you want to refinish or restore?" I was a little tentative but decided to listen to the expert. I am so glad I did!! They are stunning!! As for the condo, he suggested I don't use a stain. Just refinish & protect. They are beautiful, light & clean looking. Of course, they could have made more money if they had also stained the floors, but suggesting otherwise proves they care about customers more than the almighty dollar.
