Lucky me, I work in an industry where water remediation is needed. A resident called me one day and told me she smelled mold in the hallways but found no signs of mold. I called Frank to ask if he can have someone check on this, they came the same day and determined there was no signs of mold but to conduct testing to see if any areas were damp. They helped me through every step of the process and were honest with what they could help with and what they couldn't. I 100% recommend for your water remediation needs.

READ THIS BEFORE HIRING THEM AND LOOK AT ATTACHED PHOTOS. IF…read moreI COULD GIVE THEM ZER0 STARS I WOULD. It starts from the top and rolls down hill. We hired KC Floors Feb. 19 to install flooring and baseboard in our 1,760 sqft home. It is now April 6th and all of the corrections are just being finalized. Where to begin... Dave, the sales guy, was a nice guy but measured the flooring wrong and a few days into the job the sub-contractor, MIGUEL & SONS, had to drive to L.A. to grab 300 sqft. MIGUEL & SONS are complete hacks. If KC Floors tries to send them to your house refuse entry. They had a crew of roughly five guys that were terrible. They broke the supports under our bed when moving it and did not tell us, they tried to repair baseboards with drywall mud and it had to be ripped out, they did not remove the underlayment and the floors were uneven in many of the rooms and they had to come back and remove two of the bedrooms and reinstall the flooring. When Miguel came back to do they repairs he was mad and uncooperative. When KC floors tried to send Miguel a third time I refused to let him in. He, and his company are not capable of completing the job the correct way. (see photos) The owner refused to take my calls and requested that all correspondence be via email. This was actually better because the information the office was providing me and the information the owner provided contradicted each other. The owner also was requesting final payment, which I refused because the job as of now has still not been completed. I could go on but at this point it's not worth it. If you are looking for a cheap price, bad work, terrible communication and a job that should be completed in 7 business days taking 2 months you are in the right place. Your search is over. Call them today! If you want a job done right pay the extra money and go somewhere else. Checkout the photos below and I would love to hear what you think! *** Walking the house with the painter right now I just found another area where the floors don't even make it to the baseboard! In late 2019, we had a flood in our master bathroom that (like many people) was the primer for a…read morefull-blown remodel. It was time to upgrade our gross 1980's shower and cheap vanity from the previous house flip. We turned to MOST Construction of Carlsbad for full design and remodel construction services and they did not disappoint! From the early scoping, contracting and through the design process, Pernille and Morten were very professional and understanding of our vision. The contracting process was very detailed to ensure all work was accounted for, and Pernille provided numerous design drawings for us to work with. Being our first bathroom remodel, we were unaware of the amount of planning and subcontractors that would be involved. Along the way, MOST provided recommendations for vendors with the experience to match our vision. Construction began with a minor hiccup when a small leak occurred in the subfloor below the shower, but this was due to an existing hole in our drain pipe. This was no fault to MOST construction, but Morten promptly mitigated this and repaired the minor drywall damage. Talk about great service! From thereon everything was a breeze! Their workers were courteous and showed up on time each day and kept the workspace as clean as possible. Their tile tradesman Sal is a true artisan! Following the framing and hotmop of the shower pan, Sal built a traditional mortar bed tile job with custom niches and gorgeous bordering. He took his time to make sure the end product was flawless, and I appreciate that level of skill. Pernille coordinated with the Countertop Company of San Marcos to have the vanity and shower dam slab cut and installed. We handled the glasswork (shower door, backlit mirror) ourselves with Cast Glass Images of San Marcos. Everything went smoothly with drywall, electrical and finish plumbing installation. In the end, MOST Construction was a pleasure to work with. They are a team of true professionals and they will be my go-to general contractor for quotes on my next major remodeling job!

We had a fairly small project and were having trouble finding a company willing to take our project on. We wanted to install french doors for our home office where prior there was a huge doorway opening with no doors. Pernille was great to work with, offering design suggestions and showing us photos of similar work so we could get a good picture of what to expect. Once our doors were ordered (through General Millworks), MOST scheduled their installation to coordinate with the door delivery. They worked very efficiently, completing the job in a couple of days (other companies told us the job could take up to 2 weeks!). They also kept the space very tidy and clean. We are thrilled with the way they turned out!

Hiring a contractor for a bathroom remodel project is something my wife and I were really hesitant…read moreabout, but needed to pull the trigger to update our 90's builder grade bathroom. I got a quote from a couple companies, but it just didn't feel right. Then, I reached out Travis and Daniel with Next Generation. Their professionalism from the start was miles ahead of the other two companies I called. They were on time, very friendly to my family, and it was obvious that they were very knowledgeable. This wasn't a simple remodel. Before, we had a tiny shower on the left, and a huge tub on the right which we never used. Travis explained that we could use both existing drains and create one huge master shower. Their pricing wasn't the cheapest, but also not the most expensive between the other quotes I received. The kicker is we got so much more with their proposal and design. It was a no brainer. Before the work started we got a detailed calendar of each process from demo, to final clean. I can't stress enough how detailed they were, and kept us in the loop the entire time. If the guys left for the day before we got home, we were always updated with pictures and even sometimes videos of what was accomplished! Everything was done by their in-house team, so I didn't have to worry about having random subcontractors at my house. This level of customer service is really a breath of fresh air. The end result speaks for itself. Not trying to brag on my new bathroom (I kinda am ). Look how the sides are mirror images of each other! I saw the guys take time to make sure the movement in the tile pattern all lined up! Needless to say, these guys are all professionals from Travis and Daniel the owners, to everyone else on their staff. Do yourself a favor. Stop rolling the dice on other random companies and call Next Generation. PS. I already have them on our calendar to return early January to paint the exterior of our house, and refinish our kitchen cabinets.
