On first pass, there was a line at the take-out window. When I returned to dine in, there was a rather significant line there as well. My party of 2 was apparently the magic number because they had us stand in the front of the line and we were seated inside almost immediately. The food here is served so rapidly that I seriously doubt anyone needs to wait long as there's a constant turning of tables. Schwarma and Fallafel and whatever else we consumed here was so fresh, delicious, and satisfying that I tried coming back here again the night before leaving Paris. The restaurant was not busy there were many empty tables. The waiter states "I don't know if I can serve you guys...that isn't enough food you are ordering for 6 people" we were shocked. He proceeded to talk to the owner. Then the owner came to our table and told us he could not serve us we had to order more food. There is no way I would support such a business with such rude customer service especially amongst our community to treat someone like that, knowing we are foreigners is so rude. We happily got up and left. Luckily we ran into a religious couple that told us to go to Bassar, which had amazing food, amazing ambience great service and not a single empty table in the house. It was bustling. And the food was so good we wound up ordering 6 entrees and 3 appetizers and wine. Dont waste your time and money at Kavod. Poor service depressing atmosphere.
