We had a delightful meal here. The staff was very hospitable and treated us well. We are from the US and are visiting Belgium. We were looking for a nice restaurant. We entered the restaurant, not knowing that we were at least an hour early for dinner service. They still welcomed us and encouraged us to stay. We do not speak French, but we communicated just fine and they brought us English menus.
The food was wonderful. The leek soup with lovely crispy crackers was a tasty starter course. We enjoyed very tender steak with sauce, traditional Belgian meatballs with tangy sweet "syrup" sauce, and traditional Belgian french fried potatoes. The salads were fresh and lightly dressed. My husband enjoyed a liquor with his meal. I had cafe au lait. A very nice dinner and pleasant, quiet dinner for two. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more
