Whoever walked in they were high fiving and greeting each other. They had one bartender working so you might have to wait a little for a drink but thats how europe goes. The bartender was a nice guy and it was fun overall. The bathroom situation was a different story. It is a mess but I am beginning to see that is a trend in belgium. The fries were crunchy with a soft interior. Belgians just know how to do fries the right way. Everything is made fresh here and you can taste it. The bread was even some of the best I have had! The curtius beer was my favorite. It is light and goes down easy. You can also buy some to-go from the shop and I highly suggest you do that! So good! Their beer, Curtius, has taken over the town, and for good reason - it's a great, dry Blonde, at 7%, with a little cloudiness that's likely the result of some wheat in the mash. It's like a Duvel but drier and not quite as strong. They have a bar menu but were out of most things when we were there. First, I love the atmosphere, the ambiance and the feel is very modern. Their burgers were perfect and so tasty! I love that on the menu they pair a beer to go with the meal, very fun. Lastly, the staff knew that my sister and I were from the USA and they were very accommodating and even gave us complimentary shots of sweet alcohol at the end of our meal!
