I was blown away with the amount of vegetarian choices they have available. Not only do they have a number of different dishes on their main menu but their daily menu also has quite a few as well. I ordered the vegetarian empanadas and loved them! I struggled to choose between at least 3 different dishes but was satisfied with my choice in the end. When it comes to food, it is self-service. We entered the restaurant, not knowing that we were at least an hour early for dinner service. They still welcomed us and encouraged us to stay. We do not speak French, but we communicated just fine and they brought us English menus. The food was wonderful. The leek soup with lovely crispy crackers was a tasty starter course. We enjoyed very tender steak with sauce, traditional Belgian meatballs with tangy sweet "syrup" sauce, and traditional Belgian french fried potatoes. The salads were fresh and lightly dressed. My husband enjoyed a liquor with his meal. I had cafe au lait. A very nice dinner and pleasant, quiet dinner for two. I highly recommend this restaurant.
