The curtius beer was my favorite. It is light and goes down easy. You can also buy some to-go from the shop and I highly suggest you do that! So good! Their beer, Curtius, has taken over the town, and for good reason - it's a great, dry Blonde, at 7%, with a little cloudiness that's likely the result of some wheat in the mash. It's like a Duvel but drier and not quite as strong. They have a bar menu but were out of most things when we were there. With our limited French and the waitresses limited English, we managed to place our order, and even though the portions looked a bit smaller than anticipated, we were happy with our choice. I got the boulet with salad and fries, and the boulet is like a meatloaf-tasting hamburger in ball form, drenched with a sweet, tomato-y sauce. It was quite tasty, and I really liked the accompanying fries that had just the right amount of crisp to fluff ratio. The salad with vinaigrette dressing was good too (but I could have had it without the onions!). Overall a pleasant experience, and a good find in Liege after walking around.
