I was blown away with the amount of vegetarian choices they have available. Not only do they have a number of different dishes on their main menu but their daily menu also has quite a few as well. I ordered the vegetarian empanadas and loved them! I struggled to choose between at least 3 different dishes but was satisfied with my choice in the end. When it comes to food, it is self-service. Order at the bar and you will be given a badge that will vibrate/light up when your order is ready. You then pick up your food by the kitchen and enjoy :)

I am sure what the others didn't like. It is a lovely place both inside and out. We stopped for a…read moredrink on a bike ride and came back later that night for dinner. It was really quite nice. The lobster was cooked on the open hearth and the smokey flavor was quite unique. I found out later that they had a hotel and had I known before I might have tried to get a room there instead of the place we stayed. It looked much more quaint and cozy. So don't sit in the inside bar area if you are having dinner. It's not as nice. There aren't many seats in the back so maybe call ahead if it is a weekend. I wish they would make all the cars park out front. That would mean the patio area is left without car traffic. That's an easy fix and would make me consider the 5th star. Perhaps next time...

They have a nice restaurant and beer garden. The food is underrated. I had the boulet and they were ridiculous. The sauce that came on them were ridiculous. The fries were crunchy with a soft interior. Belgians just know how to do fries the right way. Everything is made fresh here and you can taste it. The bread was even some of the best I have had! The curtius beer was my favorite. It is light and goes down easy. You can also buy some to-go from the shop and I highly suggest you do that! So good! The service was great and the place was clean and fun. Apparently they have different parties and beer tastings when the weather is nice. Come check it out you won't regret it.

We walked past it last year and didn't have time to stay, so a year later we made it a special point to pop in here after our climb up and down the Montagne de Bueren. Their beer, Curtius, has taken over the town, and for good reason - it's a great, dry Blonde, at 7%, with a little cloudiness that's likely the result of some wheat in the mash. It's like a Duvel but drier and not quite as strong. They have a bar menu but were out of most things when we were there. So we got hapjes (chicken wings) and the cheese plate, which had 3 outstanding cheeses, including a really nice local chevre.

The 50-day dry-aged beef was totally a disaster because they were tough, tasteless, burned (overcooked) with hard tendon, and was served without any sauces. I and my family felt very disappointed about his rude and terrible quality of beef. I don't want others feel like us.
