Gee, if I could give this place less than one star, I would, but they earn the one star for new, clean, spacious, and (inside) friendly, courteous service. The car wash kids range from kind and respectful to ... well, read on Yelpers. I heard the car wash sucks as did the car wash attendants service. If for some reason I don't want to wash my car in my own driveway then I know to go to Lozano's at the corner of Grape and W. El Camino. The minute I got out of my German sports car, and straightened out my dress I noticed one young Hispanic boy staring at me over the top of his sunglasses. He had on a yellow shirt which told me that he was one of the workers who solicited car washes. I was hot so I walked in to grab something cold to drink. On my way back out to my car and the pump, he practically stalked me, cutting me off in front of my car. I walked around to the other side of the car to avoid him. He was shouting something in Spanish. "Ai KEE-Yet-tah Mah-MEE". When I got back around the car to the pump side, he had basically cornered me again and by this time I was getting pissed and wondered what this horny young man might look like on fire ... but I digress. He never asked me, "Would you like a car wash today?" like the other people have done the other two or three times that I have filled up there. He was totally checking me out and using the car wash solicitation as a ploy. He was looking at me like I was a piece of meat. He was very condescending and overall he was extremely rude when he said something in English, "You could yust say yat you are hnot einterested!" but when he called me "bicth" "putta" under his breath that was it. I was so ready to kick his scrauny ass right there. It gets better (or worse unfortunately). With this oversexed kid distracting me, I selected the wrong grade of gas. My BWM says right on the gas filler door "Premium". I selected the button on the right (which at other Chevrons is 91 octane). So the lever kept clicking and I stopped and decided to go to a different Chevron. I own tons of Chevron stock, so I don't buy gas anywhere else. If this kid, Diego quits his job and never see him there again, then maybe I won't write a letter and send it to several key players in the corporate office. How many people has this happened to? How does that impact my stock? The Chevron Board of Directors will certainly want to know that people may go to the Shell station about 1 mile away (and pay a few pennies more) not to be harrassed. UPDATE: My partner suggested that I file harassment charges against this kid since I have his full name now. I asked my Latina friend what he said and what it meant. She told me that it was very derogatory. If I do file the harassment charges, the corporate office will definately find out about it, and nobody will have to put up with this crap anymore. read more

Worst service I've ever had at a car wash. I don't take for granted Classic Car wash in San Jose or the other car wash on the east side. Been waiting so far for 20 minutes. My car has been sitting in the sun probably getting dry spots now that no one is working on it. I would NEVER come back here. And I don't recommend this place to no one at all. One guy was drinking a beer on the job and just walking around. I went back in to ask for my money back but almost 30 minutes later 1 person is finally working on it. I feel bad for not tipping the guy but tips are earned for your hard work not just because. read more

Great DEAL today 18 dollar car wash only 9 dollar 50 Percent off, this Deal is Tuesday and Wednesday only,

Unbelievable. Terrible customer service. I had some dirt in the back of the SUV but because I didn't open the rear hatch the mess is still there. When I asked why? The response was there is a sign stating to open up your trunk or hatch if you want it vacuumed. OK. My mistake. But the next response should have been when we are done drying you car please bring it over to the vacuum station and we will take care of it. Instead of just walking off like a person of authority. Yes you are a person of authority I got your message. No more visiting your facility and no more tips for your workers drying the cars who are working hard and deserving. read more

Their buy 5 car washes and get 1 free car wash is a complete scam. I WAS a repeat customer and when I finally got 5 stamps, their management refused to give me the free car wash because I didn't bring my receipts. They never told me that receipts are needed. Their management just doesn't have the business acumen to figure out that they are alienating their repeat customers by denying such redemption. read more

Warning.....never go to Chevron gas station and car wash in Sunnyvale. They should get NEGATIVE 5 stars. I got gas and a car wash few weeks ago. After they washed the exterior of my car, the worker parked my car at the other side of parking lot for interior cleaning. My boyfriend and I were waiting outside the 7-11store. We heard a big bang. One of the worker backed up another car which was finished and hit my car. I rushed to the car and took pictures of my car and the worker/driver who tried to walked away. In the same time my boyfriend went to the 7-11store to report the incident. There were no one in charge of this matter. after 10 min running around between the 7-11 store and car wash, my boyfriend came back with a car wash crewman. ( i assumed he is a forman ) he claimed he had not seen what happened and he could not help even he saw both cars and damage of my car and the driver/worker admitted he hit my car. He asked me to fill up an accidental report and told me to call Ed on Monday. After i filled up the report, the same worker/driver drove forward the other car and backed up the car, he almost hit my car again if i did not ponded on the other car to stop him. i really think he does not know how to drive a car at all. Monday I called the phone # and pressed the extension for Ed. A man answer the phone. i asked if he is Ed, he did not identify himself but asked me what i want. I told him about the purpose of my call, he told me that he can not help me and can not provide his company's insurance information either. I asked if he is Ed, he said "NO" even I pressed Ed extension according to the company directory. I asked if I can talk to Ed, he said Ed is out of town and there is no other person could help me. i called my insurance company with the pictures of my car, the other car's plate No., the accidental report and Ed phone No. the adjuster left many messages to Ed but did not get any response either. Do not got to Chevron Gas station at Sunnyvale. Jo read more

Used a coupon for $9.99 on a $14.99 full service wash. The car wash wasn't exceptional but just ok. I had to point out a few areas that required more cleaning. Barring that, the customer service was very good. Overall, not my first choice for a place to wash my car but can pass with a coupon like the one I had. read more

Came in this morning. Was apprehensive because of all negative reviews. But nothing to worry about. Arrived around 10.25am, there were a couple of cars in the que. Was out by 10.50am. The guy drying my car must have spent 15mins and did a very through job. Will come again! read more

I filled 20 gallon in my wife's minivan and got "The wash" for only $9 (usual price $13), as Chevron gives 20 cents discount per gallon. The gas station was well equipped with nick-nacks for people, while they wait. I think We got a very reasonable wash for $9, as they spent almost 45 minutes on our van vacuuming, washing, cleaning and drying. read more

This morning i had my car washed. One of the workers told me i don't have any windshield wipers. Yesterday a bird took a crap all over my car, I used the wipers to get the bird crap off my windows. Those workers stole my WINDSHIELD WIPERS. If you have a new car don't take it to Chevron read more

Want a quick exterior car wash? This is NOT your place. I needed to get gas and just wash the dust off my car. Figured this would be the fastest one stop location. Purchased my gas and a car wash all at the same time. Go to get the car wash and I'm informed that their machine isn't working (not the first time, by the way). So I reverse, park and go inside to get my money back. I'm then told that because I purchased it with my credit card through the machine, my money can't be refunded but I was assured that the car wash was good for 3 months. I DON'T NEED A CAR WASH IN 3 MONTHS! I NEED IT TODAY! The same thing had happened to my sister months earlier. NEVER NEVER NEVER get a car wash here! read more

The staff is crooked - they refused to honor a free wash. Never going back there... the loyalty program is a scam. Beware

$26 for a terrible job of a carwash. They didn't even *try* to get anything clean. Hell, they barely even wiped any surfaces, just spent the entire time talking and leaning against my car. Super lazy employees.. never go here unless you like getting ripped off. read more

I tried this place for the first time yesterday and was supremely disappointed. You would think that a brand new chevron would know how to run a car wash but they clearly do not. I arrived at the greeting station of the car wash only to be asked after five minutes of waiting "what do you want?" After I asked for a exterior wash I was instructed to park my car, go inside and pay, come back out and drive my own car through the car wash. WHAT??? what kind of full service car wash is this? Then, after driving it through myself, I was rudely informed that the car wash does not include the drying. WHAT?? how can you wash a car if you're not going to dry it?? Well, it became pretty clear to me that the operators of this place obviously do not know how a car wash is supposed to work. The whole process seems backwards. There is no customer service and they cannot even complete the job. There simply is no room in the Bay Area for mediocre armature service like this. I will stick to Lozano's and will never return to this place. read more
