This review is for the car wash only. I went inside to purchase a car wash, note that prices have increased since pre-pandemic, see my pic below. The employee was very nice, however I told her I wanted to purchase the Deluxe ($10.99) car wash & didn't notice until I was in the car wash that she charged me for the Ultimate ($14.99). That was my mistake as well for not paying attention as there was some other activity going on at the register. She also gave me a packaged wipe to use on the steering wheel & dashboard, which was nice. A few changes: There is someone who actually dries the car off now. They charge to use the vacuum cleaner, there's a machine outside that costs $2 for 5 minutes. The car looked pretty good afterwards and I touched it up when I got home. I'm coming here every week for a carwash. The back of my car gets dirty all the time and this is the most convenient way to wash it on a regular basis. The wash has been updated recently and seems well maintained. But I really enjoy talking to the clerk there. Zabih always greets you with a smile and makes you feel better, no matter if you just came back from the office, working long hours. He also pays attention, if he sees you stopped behind the wash, he goes out and asks if you need help, really above and beyond. The shop there has some basic repair supplies, good selection of food, some hot dogs, corn dogs, burritos, donuts. Highly recommended. The carwash has three options (I usually go with $11 Ultimate, I think the cheapest is $5). Every fifth wash is free (ask for a little card to collect stamps). There are sometimes lines to get in, especially Sunday evening, but if you avoid that, you can get in with no wait at all. read more

I used to get my gas at Chevron back in SD when my car was newly purchased because I heard or saw on the commercial years ago that it has techron, which was supposed to make your vehicle last longer? I'm not sure. All I knew back then was that it's for the sake of my car! What do I think of Chevron? Hey, it's good fuel. But I'm not about to break the bank just to get some special gas! Every now and then, I'd stop by and get gas here only when my car is badly in need of a car wash. Otherwise, Arco is usually my preferred gas station for the right and affordable price. I decided to drop by for a car wash only since my car hasn't been washed closing to a year now. Boy, did I pick the wrong day to get a car wash here! Unexpectedly, there were three vehicles ahead of me. Great, just great! I thought about leaving the premises and perhaps just tossed out the $6 dollar ticket I purchased, only then a van showed up as I was about to back up. Stuck, and left no choice but to wait. I'm thankful my phone didn't die on me as I kept myself busy playing temple run. I chose the plus deal for $6, which came with a foam bath, double pass wash, and dry. The whole process took less than ten minutes. My car came out clean, though I wouldn't say completely spotless. At least most of the dirt and bird droppings was removed. Maybe next time I'll try the $8 wash because I'm intrigued by the undercar rinse and the clear coat protectant. I normally don't review drive though car washes, because I rarely go to them. This one however deserves 4 stars. I came around 3:30 pm and the line wasn't too bad. Their car wash isn't the best out there but $11 for the Ultimate wash, I'd say it's worth it, especially if your car is really dirty. Car came out pretty clean. However, minus one star due to the air drying system leaving some water drops on the car, I would recommend to bring your own towels if you want completely dry. Another thing is that if you want clean rims, don't expect too much out of this machine, because I didn't lol. But overall, it did the job and if you need a good quick car wash then try this place out. read more

Never coming back. I expect the pump to state the price per gallon in cash when I go into the station and pay with CASH. Instead the pump showed the credit price and in addition to that issue, it also charged me $0.03 more than the cash price. Then the supervisor gets out her calculator and tries to tell me I'm owed $11.25. No lady, look at your calculator, I'm owed $11.28. Life is expensive enough in the bay area, I expect the pump to show what it should charge me and that I pay what is owed, nothing more. read more

This review is for their automated car wash. I'd rate the total experience 3.5 stars. You can either pay inside or at the kiosk. Keep in mind that the wait can be quite long depending on how many cars are in line. Each car wash takes approximately 4-6 minutes probably depending on which wash option you choose from. Only one car can be washed at a time so you can kind of guesstimate how long you'd have to wait depending on how many cars are in line. The wash itself is decent enough for the price. read more

Chevron gas would never be my first choice, but I often find myself needing gas late at night when I come home from work. There are two other gas stations near my place, but one closes down by the time I get off work and the other, even though it's open, it is dark and no attendant is present. So when it comes to getting gas late at night, I choose this Chevron. This facility is well lit and all the times I come to fill up, the attendant/employee is outside either on the phone or talking with his friend. I really don't mind that because it makes me feel a little more safer. They also have a drive thru car wash, which I never had a chance to try out. Sometimes you will see drunk patrons walking out of the bar that is across the street and if you are lucky, might even see a dispute happen, wh-what!?!?! Other times you might encounter people looking through the garbage cans for recyclable items. If you are ever in the area and its pass 12:30am and you needing gas, come here. It's alot safer than the other gas stations. read more

I come here every weekend for the car wash drive through ... and I usually do the $7 wash. Being always short on cash, I pay by card inside the store, and the workers inside are always cheerful and nice to talk to. The service itself is quick and cleans my car, but as other reviewers pointed it won't take away any hard spots on the car or windshield. I think it needs more elbow grease to get those off, and if the machine goes any faster then it might damage the car paint. i've been looking for a drive through car wash and this works! my car was baaaaaaaaaaaad so i had to finally had to get it washed. I went inside to buy a car wash, (if you have dollar bills then you can buy the car wash as you drive up outside, but i didnt so i used my card inside and was given a code). there were about 5 cars in front of me so i was there waiting for a while but like i said my car really needed a wash so i waited. car came out better then i entered, but honestly it was so bad i could have probably gone through again :) for 7 bucks it was not bad and its close to home. it wasn't "omg spotless and perfect" but a much better improvement for me. the wash closes at 10 pm so maybe next time i'll go later at night to avoid the rush. there was also a vacuum area after you exit the wash on the left side by the air/water pump but i didnt stop to use it, i will next time. read more

So gas prices won't go down anytime soon or even overnight for that matter so complaining really won't get you anywhere but upset for no reason. It's great that they offer a cash discount at all really. Since my last few visits, I noticed the things that changed and the things that didn't. Of course filling up is the same but the service I received while venturing inside the Extra Mile store did. There are a few workers that work here and I've encountered an Asian man and Caucasian man as well on numerous encounters just to grab an ICEE or buy cigerettes. Hands down the best customer service I've ever had at a gas station by a landslide. I don't expect much, but they actually care about their jobs and are enthusiastic. They smile, they chat with the customers, share a laugh or joke. Most other places are unpleasant, just want your money and for you to get out. That's what leads to thieves being born and such. Strange berries fell and bursted upon the beloved (but often neglected) car due to bad parking spot decision. (Note to self: Never park underneath the purple, berry bearing trees in the summer time). The berries (juice and all) dried and refused to budge even when I drove a little faster. It was decided my car needed a wash. This is a big decision because, frankly, I dislike car washes. Since I live in an apartment, I have no where to wash it myself using non-toxic soap. Not to mention, it wastes water. (p.s. if you didn't already know, drought in California this summer. Please conserve water!) I didn't feel like paying $25 plus bucks today, so I tried Belle Haven Chevron for its auto car wash. I paid 7 dollars for the premium car wash. There was only one car ahead of me, so I turned off the engine and waited. (p.p.s. Do not let your car idle for more than 10 seconds. It takes more energy than simply re-starting the car, generates unnecessary pollution and damages your car. Idling is not fuel-efficient). Standard fare when it came to my turn. I shut off the engine and let the machines do their work. Nothing too special happened. I wasn't smitten. I stared at one particular berry on the windshield and saw the soft brushes take off part of it. Meh. After arriving home, I inspected the car. Overall, the car looked clean. All the ashes from the wild fire rinsed away but most of the berries were still present. Will probably use the car wash again if the car isn't in dire need of berry goo removal. read more

For drive-thru carwash... Good for a car you don't care that much about, so it was perfect for my dirty old Camry! $5 for a basic car wash, takes about 5 minutes. Dries it too, but with some droplets left on the windshields. Got most of the gunk off my car but not completely, still little bits of the sap and bird crap stuck on. But still made my car overall look clean. And I remember another time I went through a drive through car wash, it kinda leaves little scratches on the car, coz the "octopus tentacles" whacks the sides of the car pretty hard haha. But yeah like I said, my Camry kinda already has little dings and scratches anyway, so I'd rather just take 5 minutes to drive through rather than an hour+ of me scrubbing under the hot sun in my drive way to not even get it that clean. And plus it's fun to go through the car wash. read more

The is regards to the car wash. I read the reviews, the car wash is fine. Does a good job on the outside. But this story is a little more. I was in a rush to get a wash before an appointment. I had about 30 minutes of slack and figured I could get a quick wash assuming no line. Well I lucked out and there was no line. I drive into the wash. It sprays my car. And then stops and tells me to exit. My car wasn't washed, is now wet and I'm losing time. I stop in the shop, explain the situation and they say no problem, the sensors are sometimes sensitive, lets get you back in. I get back in, they punch the code and then watch me drive in to see the cycle start. And now it works. So I greatly appreciated the good customer service. read more

The car wash is only able to handle one car at a time so a 4 car line up can take up to 20 minutes to clear. It is not a touchless wash as there are rubber bristles that will scrub down your car. You can pay for your car wash at the start of the car wash line by credit card. The machine is a little finicky as it took a couple tries for me to get it to work. There's a notice that you shouldn't remove your credit card until prompted by the machine but those instructions never actually come up on the console. A little confusing but you insert and remove your card immediately to get the process started. The wash was good and able to remove most of the dirt on my car. I think the dryer could have been a little more effective but still decent. read more

I got my company car washed here in the automated car wash I paid the $11 and thought my car came out pretty clean there was no line so I didn't have any wait time but I could see how it might take a while if other people are in line. They provide towels after the car wash to use to dry the car better which I thought was a nice bonus. I then used the vacuum to clean out the car and it worked very well. read more

Absolutely horrible. I got in line at 4:40 pm having read all the terrible reviews about the wait. There were 6 cars ahead of me. At 5:25 I reached the front of the line only to find the car wash had just shut off. No signs, no indication as to why (time of day?), just the keypad said they were closed. Drive through the inactive carwash, you're done. So hey, if you want to waste 45 min of your day give it a shot. If I weren't firmly against yelling at retail employees who have no control over these things I'd go in and scream at the attendant until they cried, I'm that livid. read more

Having just driven in from Miami, the front of my car and the windshield were filled with little bugs and bug parts. No amount of washer fluid was going to fix that, so I picked up some ultra-powerful bug remover spray from Target. Failing to completely read the directions before application, I did not realize the spray would turn into a gel, covering my windshield in a thick goo and making it nearly impossible to see out. The only solution was for a thorough wash, and I had neither bucket nor hose. Few of the stations in this area have an attached car wash, and this Santa Clara Chevron is the closest to me that does. $5 and I could see again, plus the car looked a lot better (at least in the dark). Not wonderful, but a quick fix if you are pressed for time. read more
