The wait was long for the car wash, about 45 minutes, but well worth it!. The price is fantastic at $7, $9 or $11 for the Ultimate wash (No wonder the wait was so long!). I purchased the $9 Deluxe and received a great wash. The only negative is the "dry" portion which is so-so and your car will only come out half dry. If you park in the spaces in front of the exit they do have a basket of clean micro-fiber towels and a basket next to them for the used towels. I had my own but took a peek and the clean towels were full (This was a Saturday @ 5:00 PM, so they obviously keep on top of them and replenish). Keep in mind, this is a Chevron gas station drive through wash! This is great customer service! All in all, a great price for a great wash. I'll be back. read more

This place is on my way to work and I've been going there since before the remodel. The store now has EVERYTHING and the prices are marginally cheaper than the 7/11 across the street. I also think the employees have gotten some training because they are extremely helpful and friendly now. The recent change to cash/credit pricing is the main reason I am writing this review... I drive a gas guzzler, and the option to pay less for gas when I can is a great one. I am especially surprised by the automated car wash; It does a great job compared to other attendant-less car washes and gets the job done well when you dont have the time to sit around waiting at a full service car wash. read more

They use actual suds in their basic carwash here. SUDS, REAL SUDS. I'm not talking about the diluted, cheap, recycled water version of suds. The machine actually sprays a thin layer of cleaning detergent over your car. I was excited. Of course you have to buy gas to get the discounted car wash. This is a nice Chevron Station! The employees are pleasant and helpful. There's the usual coffee and soft drinks. I'm basing the high marks (4 stars) on the value. It's a drive-through (actually, sit and park, while the robots move back and forth washing your car), so don't expect a phenomenal detail. But the price is right if you just need to get the surface grime off. As others have experienced, if you have any stuck-on goo, I wouldn't suggest this. The price went up marginally since a 2007 review. Base prices are $5 for a basic wash/dry, $6 for a wash/clear coat/spotless rinse/dry, and $7 for a wash/clear coat/spotless rinse/dry, tire blast wash, and undercarriage. I believe you can knock $1 off each price if you buy $8 of gas. I chose the $6 option and it came out better than expected. Again, not the detail of a hand wash, but the car was sparkly clean, the surface grime was gone, and there were no spots. I actually wish I would have opted for the $7 to get the wheels/tires. With the hand-washes inching their prices up, this is a great alternative if you just want to get a simple car wash. read more

I just came back from Chevron very dissatisfied. I came to use the vacuum and was told by the lady cashier a car wash purchase was required to use the vacuum. After the car wash, which was fine, I found out I did not need to purchase a car wash to use the vacuum. When using the vacuum it had very low suction and barely picked up anything. As I put the vacuum hose away, the hose fell off the machine (no wonder there was minimal suction). When I shared what happened with a different cashier and requested a refund, he told me the vacuum works fine & said he'd refund me today but not next time. The lady cashier came to put the hose back on and asked me why I broke it saying I shouldn't pull it so far. I didn't break it & only used it from the nearest side of my vehicle. I feel upset and disappointed by how the employees treated me in attempting to handle the situation & that I still need a good vacuuming of my car interior. I'd like for these two employees to get a couple of paid days off to reduce stress and then get training for customer interactions. Blaming & getting defensive is not appropriate for the workplace. read more

Its quite strange that you don't find dedicated car wash companies like mister car wash in the bay area. Hence the reason to drive around to find decently priced car wash that fit the bill. Visited this place on one such occasion. Prices are reasonable and you get what you paid for. Car wasn't dry at the end of the shower...some stains still remained. The machine takes quite a bit of time for every car - it isn't like a typical assembly line car wash..it takes atleast 5-8mins per car...so do that calculation (mathematically gifted you!) before you queue up.. I stopped by to this place first time yesterday for a car wash. First of all, I did not realized that I need to walk into the store to pay first or must have small bills. There wasn't any sign to warn me about this. Besides, this is so old school. Second, the line is moving very slow. I waited about 20 minutes before my turn. Finally, the car wash system makes me dizzy. Normally, when I go through a car wash system, my car will move along the bell and the system would just clean my car. With this system, it goes around my car and made me dizzy. I am surprise that this system is still around. Definitely not going back to this place for car wash again. read more

After I wrote my previous 1 star review I was contacted almost immediately by Omid, the owner of this Chevron. He was very sincere in his apologizes for my poor experience. In fact, he welcomed me back to the location to offer me a free car wash, several future washes and a gas card. I really appreciated his offers, kind words and understanding. When I arrived this time for another attempt at the car wash he was very friendly and was nice enough to watch as my car went through the car wash again. IT WORKED!!! Yes, it is true that this car wash struggles with small cars and low profile tires, but he said he will be having maitenance look into the issue. I was surprised the other day when I came on here to write my review that they received such rave reviews for customer service... now I see why. Omid really cares about his customer's experiences and expects his employees to do the same. All businesses are allowed to make mistakes. Let's just call my previous experience a hiccup. I really appreciated Omid's efforts to make things right. This may be a regular gas/car wash spot for me now. As a business owner myself I can really respect his business sense. Thanks!! read more

Yeah this place is awful. I used to go here all the time to fill up my baby. More recently they have vendors out that will try and scam you into paying for things you don't need. Its not only a nuisance but the predatory way these vendors approach you is disgusting. From now on ill drive across town to get my gas. read more
