The POS that works in the front, Anjit I believe stole my money. Tried befriending me at first and at least first five visits he has always tried to steal from me and make items over the price it shows. Today I gave him a 10$ bill for something that was little over $7 and he gave me a some change back, maybe 30 cents. He pretended like he didn't do anything and was just smiling at me. Despite the upgrades & clean environment, customer service doesn't exist here. The new team is super rude & only cares to make sales. I walked over to buy a white claw & a beatbox. I was checked out by an employee named Arsh who treated me poorly as if he didn't want to do a transaction with me. I mentioned this to his coworker that completed the transaction for me & they both laughed in my face. I was also playing video games at this location during the 1989 earth quake and it's an event I'll remember for the rest of my life. Well, I stumbled upon this location and I ran inside to check if they carried Choco Tacos. Once again, my eyes saw the same ice cream selection as the last 20 convenience stores I had looked inside. Decent 7-Eleven run by a nice guy. I went in to buy a hot dog and a soda and the Indian guy who is the owner was really, really, really nice. I don't know if he could tell I was a good person or not or maybe he was just having a good day but everytime I come into this store most of the workers seem to be in a good mood. I work just down the street and I come here every so often. I'm only there for the convenience of the coffee (even though there is a S'Bux somewhere nearby). Their French Vanilla can't be touched. But I really DON'T like coming here. Only when I have to. Whether it's during the day or at night, I'm always cautious about where I park and how long I take in the store. My coworker came here once at night and said someone attempted to break into her car (luckily, the store owner saw the guy and called the cops). Plus, it doesn't help that teens loiter in the front and drunk college kids stroll in here late at night (like they have nothing else better to do). I had two staff members breathing down my neck. one guy walked past me when i came in pretending to be busy. then an older man was poking at the chips while i was trying to decide on a brand. At first i was like bruh, do you really think im gonna shoplift or something? This place is probably the chillest 7/11 out here. It's going to be a hot summer this year and this location is always on it with the a/c and they are with the season! They always have old school funky music on blast to fit the time of the year. Both cashiers that work morning and afternoon shift are awesome. Let me start by saying that, overall, this is a pretty decent 7-Eleven. It's clean, not terribly over-priced and there's usually nobody panhandling in front of the store (unlike the nearby Washington St. location). Also, the owner's very nice, as are most of the employees. However, there's one worker there that knocks this place down from 4 to 2 stars for me. I won't call him out by name, but he's a miserable little man. If you smile and say hello, he won't even respond. My favorite is when I buy a bunch of items and he rings me up then just stands there staring at me, making me ask him for a bag; please, like I'm going to attempt to juggle 12 items as I walk to my car! Bottom line, this is a decent store but avoid it during the early afternoon (which is when it's swamped with high school kids) and evenings (which is when Scrooge McCheckoutclerk usually works). read more

The owner and employees are pretty friendly to me, even late at night. I like to get coffee from here as well as the little 25 cent packets of Now n' Later chews. Staff are also pro law enforcement; always a plus in my book. Very bad experience. We just went there for doughnuts & the person on the cash register was behaving very rudely. I brought two doughnuts one was glazed n another chocolate dipped. I aren't aware that for $1 m getting two doughnuts. So I paid $2 dollars for the 2 doughnuts (one chocolate dip & one glazed)n when I came outside the store my friend remind me that I should pick 2 doughnuts for the same price. So I went back n picked up another doughnut. N suddenly the cashier guy start acting weirdly. He said now again I have to make change for the same. I'm confused so maybe someone can help me out here. I went in at 4:30 this morning for pizza. Plenty of taquito things but no pizza. So I ask the guy working there if I can get some pizza to which he responds it won't be ready until 6:00 am. So I clarify that I want to buy a whole pizza to which he again responds they don't have pizza until 6:00 am. I say I don't understand why I can't get any pizza to which I get a response of ................ the pizza won't be ready until 6. So we go around this circular verbal tango a few more times until I give up. So to my question, why isn't pizza ready until 6:00 at that location? I mean those pizzas take like 5 minutes to cook in their oven so it's not like they're waiting for the dough to rise. Or maybe someone's in the back making the cheese? Hell I don't know. This makes no sense to me especially when I wanted to buy the whole pizza(which I made very clear to the employee). So one star is all I can muster read more

This is one of the few convenience stores I've been to where all the employees (and the manager) are genuinely nice/friendly. (Ok there was one bad apple a while ago but he's no longer there.) The Coke Slurpee here is one of the best (and I've tried quite a few different stores - in fact, I go here frequently even though Yahoo Yellow Pages says it's the 13th closest 7-11 to me!). The store is usually clean (inside and out) and drink selection is good (even had Vanilla Coke Zero when most places don't). I like supporting places like this that have good customer service. read more

I've shopped here for many years. Never had anyone approach me for money, never had a problem parking, and was never bothered by the high school kids. It's one block from the high school, of course that's where the students will go. The store is clean and the staff is courteous. If you get there early morning, they have a good coffee selection. I only wish they had more than the basics later in the day. What more do you want from 7-11. There is another 7-11 closer to my house, but the staff is rude and I won't go back. I always drive a little farther to visit this one. read more
