First of all I just want to say I have been taking both of my BMWS to this car wash for a couple of years, living in the city there is no options for car wash besides this location and two others. Their wash is ALWAYS inconsistent, one wash might good and the other times, 80% of the time the car is poorly washed all around, I would have to clean up the car myself after their service. THIS time is was my absolute final time to ever take my car here. They cracked my windshield during the wash , they didn't call me when this happened, instead the staff that washed my car today completely acted like it wasn't them, acted like nothing happened and hoping I would NOT notice a HUGE crack in my windshield that on my 100k car. Beyond frustrating and aggravating how the staff handled it, they made me fill out a "claim" form that looks like it came from a public library typed by a 1st grader . I wasn't giving a solution or any resolutions, all they said we will contact you when we "know more". I asked to see the cameras, which of course they didn't show. Instead they tried to feed me a possibility this might have happened else where, but it didn't, the car was perfectly fine before this wash. If you have a valuable expensive vehicle DO NOT take your car here! I assure you it's not worth your money or the possibility of them damaging the exterior of the car. Anyone who needs a car wash referral I will be happy to provide it! I would give this place a -5 * if I could. Charging people absurd amount of money for half ass job, for inconsistent washes, very possible damage that might occur is absolutely shameless. This place needs to be handled by a different management and staff who actually know what they are doing and caring about customers and taking responsibility for the damages they caused!!! read more

Air station off at night. Illegal in California to not have available air with gas purchase. After filling up for $75 noticed my tire was dangerously low, slow leak. The attendant told me they turn the air and water off at night and can't help. The service manager was there standing next to the air machine, asked him to please power it on, my tire is dangerously low--"sorry it's off for the night" I'm filing a complaint with CDFA and anyone else inconvenienced/endangered by their ignoring of state law should as well. As far the car wash, it use to be $50-100 for a hand wash. Now it's still $50-100 for a cheap automated wash. Total rip off. read more

I went here today because my car desperately needed a wash after all the rains and it is parked on the street. I splurged for the $99 wash and added the extra $20 shampooing of the carpet mats. When I went to grab my car there was still bird shit all over the hood and bugs all over the bumper. I just looked at them. I was surprised. I said I expected a little bit more for $120 ! I pointed to the bird shit. They promptly cleaned it off, but the bugs weren't all gone and I was very disappointed. This is (was) my go to spot when I get my car washed in San Francisco. It's expensive, so I try to wash my car when I am out of town. They did a good job on the interior though. read more

Wow, surprise on the other reviews. I thought these guys were great! I didn't use the interior detailing, but they did a great job on a really dirty car. The turn was fast. Very friendly service. This was once a great carwash. Today I wish I could give 0 stars. I paid $44 plus a generous tip for the executive wash. I had to go back and point out several areas on my car that were not clean. The windows the rear view mirror the rear mirror their rear window the area behind the front tires all had dirt and spots that could have been removed and should have been removed. I sat there and watched a young lady talk about me in Spanish casting dirty glances our way, when she should have been focused on cleaning up what she missed the first time. She didn't look like that when she accepted my TIP! After the second go around, the car was still not clean. I expect CLEAN for the executive wash!! The "manager" Israel insisted that those spots would not come off unless I got a wax but if I came back he would give me a discount on that wax job! What nerve!!! Those stains came off at home without wax! Surely we don't need wax on windows, right? They are still sloppily done with dirt and streaks at the bottom. NEVER going back. If you are anywhere near here and want some really great coffee, you can get it right here. Maybe you need a car wash. Lots of people come here for that too. I see all of these cars getting all levels of clean. But let's get back to the coffee. There's a woman at the coffee bar who makes your coffee. I ask for a large regular coffee. She asks me if I want regular or strong! I like strong coffee and it is! Yes, I went back for another cup after giving a friend a bit of my first cup. She also makes special coffees if you want that experience. The woman at the bar takes her job seriously as all of the other employees I see that work there and I see the at least three times a week. Grab some fresh fruit, fresh doughnuts or baked good. The gas? Great gas but you'll pay full pop. Friendly counter service too! All of this adds to five stars! read more

Stopped by on Saturday, October 15th around 3pm to grab some gas. My friends and I were heading to the Peninsula and needed to fill up before leaving the city. Prices that day were: Regular ($3.039), Plus ($3.139), Supreme ($3.239). The gas station wasn't super busy, so we quickly found an empty pump, filled the tank, and were on our way. Quick and easy. Price wise, I think this station runs higher than most, but it's convenient as it's on the way to the freeway from Downtown. If you don't want to go too far out of the way while heading out of the city, this Chevron is a convenient option. read more

On top of this the pumps are slow, about 10 gallons in nearly 20 min... Gas attendants didn't seem to care. i brought my rental car over from enterprise next door. after putting about 5 gallons i let go the pump handle but the meter kept running! i tried pulling the pump spigot back and it still wouldn't stop, then it just stopped on it's own. i ended up paying for an extra gallon i didn't need. then i went into my car and noticed the fuel gauge didn't change at all. i thought the fuel gauge was broken since this wasn't my car. to be sure, i went to another gas station and tried putting more gas in. then the fuel gauge changed showing the increase in fuel i added. i went back to chevron and told them their pump was malfunctioning and charged me for $30 for gas is didn't get. the manager, Luis, just walked away and said "too bad." total a******! I have been a customer at this car wash for years. In the past, there have been specific individuals who have taken an interest in the service and care I received. I have not seen these individuals in a while. Recently, I haven't had the best experiences. Unfortunately during my last visit on Sunday, January 20, 2013, a surprisingly slow day for business, I was completely disappointed on every level. My bad - I did not inspect my car before leaving. I handed them a nice tip and got into my car to drive home. When I arrived home, I noticed that the evidence of my pigeon-collision was still in the grill of my car and all of my wheels were dirty. My entire vehicle was haphazardly cleaned. The interior had coins tossed across my seat and I noticed that the $1 bill in my ashtray was gone - an extra tip they felt entitled to. They should have kept the change as well. I'm not sure if there was a recent change in management, but that was the last time I take my car there. I will post a photo of my car taken that day after the wash. If you bring your vehicle here for a wash, do not leave any valuables (even a dollar) and inspect your vehicle before getting in your car. Something that would apply to any car wash and something I will do from now on, regardless of any history of good service. read more

Gas station has a few pumps and the inside s suuuper small and a lot of snacks seem melted or damaged... we still bought them, of course, and they tasted fine. First and last time using this terrible car wash services. For starters no one there seems to speak English or understand anything you're saying you have to wait for the one person who speaks English which took them 10 minutes to come to me. And with all due respect I'm not even trying to be funny. I got the super wash which was $46.00 I think I waited about 20 minutes and then was caught over because my car was ready for pick up I get to my car and my rims were beyond the Jardine they did not clean the rams are my tire that was still dirt at the bottom of the doors on my passenger side I tell the girl I paid $46 and my tires are not clean and she's responds with you no pay-for it and I said NO. I paid for my car to be fully washed in and out. She did not understand mean that you got the manager he came I gave up my complaint and he too said it should have been washed so he has self had to clean the rims and the tires as well as the dirt that was still on the door and apologize that the worker did not understand. Gas stations are pretty hard to find South of Market. And this particular Chevron has saved my butt on more than one occasion. I can't tell you the number of times I've driven home from the office with an empty tank. And right before my car sputters to a permanent halt, this Chevron on Mission Street appears on my horizon. This station is my knight in shining armor. There's never a long wait to pump gas. They also boast a well-equipped convenience store + Starbucks. And they also have a relatively clean restroom. You have everything you need to refuel both your car and body. Only downside, you'll get the occasional panhandler hitting you up for money at the pump. But for the most part, they're harmless. As far as pit stops go in SOMA, this is one of the best! read more

This gas station is conveniently located right before you enter the city so when you get off the highway coming from South it will be on your right hand side before you enter the city and hit van ness st. They have a great car wash here that is affordable and they even have high end waxing and detailing services. Gas prices can be a little pricier here than other places bc of its prime real estate. The interior of the store is well kept and they cruelly have a lot of options more than the average gas station store. They even have a sandwich and deli place inside the gas station store. This used to be a decent place to get your car washed and fill up with gas. The last two times I've been there for gas I've had problems at the pump. Both times it was a problem with the card reader. I wouldn't normally post a review for a gas station but the last time... the three people behind the counter all knew the card reader was bad on my pump. When I suggested they put a sign on it to save people, like me, the inconvenience of trying to fill up using a card... they looked at me like I had two heads. read more

Faulty pumps and a manager who doesn't care: The first pump I tried pumped very slow - 2 mins for $1 worth of gas. I tried a second pump and luckily I was keeping a close eye and caught it overflowing when the sensor didn't click it off. Even though, I caught it somewhat quickly enough gas spewed for it get all over my clothes and shoes and the side of my car. I thought I was being a good citizen by letting the attendants know but then was offended when the Manager kept asking, "what do you want from me?" and he offered 15 cents for the lost gas. But really I wanted nothing and to only let them know the pump was faulty and the sensor must not be working. He didn't seem to care that it was a hazard. The prices for gas here are fair, especially considering how expensive gas in this city can be when the station in question is located near a freeway entrance. It's about 10 cents per gallon more than the Arco two blocks away, though unlike Arco, they accept credit cards, are never super crowded, and have a bigger selection of snacks, drinks, etc. The prices on tobacco products are pretty low and though I have never used it, they have a car wash. I called to ask about the air pumps and if they had a pressure reader for it. The girl said she didn't know, and then mumbled something about asking for me and put me on hold. Her manager or someone must've told her to just hang up on me, because a few seconds later the call goes dead. I called right again and the same girl answers, thinking I'm a different customer. I told her I was on hold and that the phone call ended, and she replied, "Oh yeah, the air pump is broken anyway." The reason is I brought my car in after a mild coat of dirt built up for not driving a week and when i paid for the deluxe 35.99 car wash, nothing changed. No clear coat, all the dirt was still there and they even managed to scratch my new car. I am beyond frustrated. They hand wash, steam clean the carpets, and even blow air into the places water pools during the wash and then splashes up and leaves water marks, so it doesn't get that... Pretty cool. I used to take my old car there a long time ago and the detailing was great. This time I paid over $30 and they didn't even fully vaccuum my car. I had to point out large spots they missed on the exterior. Then I opened the front to see that they took all of my gum packets and business cards and tossed them on my front seat for me to clean out. In the east bay I spend about $10 less for waaaay better service. Won't be going back here again. Oh yeah, then they took the liberty of taking everything from under my seats and tossing it on the back seats. SMH read more

It's around $26 for a premium car wash which was comparable to other places in the city. They washed and hand-dried the exterior, cleaned the windows, and vacuumed and cleaned the interior as well. My car looked like new! Of note, there is no longer a reduction in gas prices associated with purchase of car wash services. The staff members were fabulous. Not only were they efficient, but they also informed me that a leak in my garage was causing staining of the paint. They were willing to stay past closing to buff out those blemishes. read more

Great place, always had come here for a car wash since I got my first car. They always do a great job, all employees are very nice. A lot of interesting things to look at while waiting for your car wash. Only thing upsetting is the price just gets more and more expensive each time I come here.
