Even though the gas prices were a bit high at $6.29/ Reg, I decided to topoff since it was top tier gas. I noticed this Chevron offers alot of services. The worker was so rude. Insinuated my friend was stupid because she never checked tire pressure before and asked for help.

This place is horrible. The worker full on yelled at me because I was putting my phone number in on the screen for Safeway when it automatically pops up when paying for anything inside. He yelled at me telling me I wasn't allowed to put my Safeway number in. Don't yell at people bc your machines do specific things. Then their car wash, they force you to pay with inserting your card bc their cash reader doesn't work and their chip reader doesn't work. I don't trust that machine out back with my credit card. I'm writing this review as I'm in line to get my car washed, and I'd give zero stars if I could. The employee inside is extremely rude and the costumer service is a big zero. I called to ask about the car wash and he yelled at me and was extremely rude and unhelpful. Even if this car wash does a good job at cleaning my car I'm not coming back here. Customer service is a big deal. Won't be coming back. UPDATE: I literally just got yelled at a few minutes later because my car wasn't centered in the car wash!! A bit expensive ($12 is their cheapest option), compared to $8 in some other places in the area (4652 meridian Ave, for example). Doesn't accept credit cards! You need to come with EXACT change (doubt if the machine gives change back, nor really count on it to give me back my money). I've never had someone be so rude to me at a gas station. I went to get an express car wash, and my code wasn't working. I was on a business call while walking into the gas station to greet the attendant, who then proceeded to yell at me and tell me I wasn't paying attention and that the code given was valid. Yet my car had yet to be washed. I then asked for my money back, because at this point it would be easier and instead he gave me a new code, which also didn't work. I drove considerably out of my way to get 8 gallons of gas so that I could have a two dollar discount off the car wash, their car wash is out of order. They did not inform me in anyway before I pumped 8 gallons of gas that I would not get a car wash at a discount... I bought a full price car wash, drove my car into and the machine wouldn't start. After being in line for 10 minutes, I had to drive out and asked if the attendant could help me. He was such a mean person. He told me it wasn't so hard "drive in and that's it". He complained that now he can't sell the ticket number and wanted me to pay for another ticket. They sell gas for 20 cents/gal. less than in SF and the couple that runs the station are extraordinarily friendly and helpful. When I asked directions, not only did the kindly gentleman tell me where to go (non-figuratively) he also drew me a map. His wife cheerfully chimed that he used to drive a cab and loves helping people get where they want to go. True...and way better than any map online, except the Google Street View that shows the guy relieving himself on the White House fence. read more

Took my car to a dealership to change my brakes but offered a price of that was way out of my budget to change it. I thought that was outrageous so I decided to search around the area for the best rates. I went here to do an oil change and told Steve (the mechanic) my situation and he was more than happy to change my brakes. He offered me a price that we both mutually agreed with. He educated me on my brakes and what I needed for them to be working properly. Turns out my brakes were really worn out! Steve was extremely friendly and helpful with everything. read more

No wait. Friendly Staff Quick Turn Around Time. All-in-all I was very happy with my Smog, it was super quick and I had no problems at all. With everything included the Smog on my 08 Bolt, was $60. Which isn't bad considering some places wanted an upwards of 75 and no free retest. Since I'm a girl and was weary about all the oh this is broken scheme, I brought my boyfriend along, and I am 100% sure I would have been fine without him. The Mechanic who performed the Smog was very nice and even had a few pointers how to get my car registered cheaper at the DMV. He did sit down and take a phone call half way through the ordeal, but i'll totally let it slide! read more

They accept Apple Pay! I forgot my cards at home & needed gas. The clerk was friendly and really patient with my Apple Pay not working. Tried my Apple Pay multiple times (it's not their machine, there is something up with my phone) & was unsuccessful however he wasn't rude about my problem. read more

I was on my down the hill on highway 17 coming into Los Gatos when I noticed my tire indicator light on. Sure enough after I pulled over in downtown Los Gatos I saw a bolt in the center of a front tire. I decided to inquire about a repair at the Chevron station... The gentleman said he could plug it right away. There was still enough air in the tire that he was able to pull out the bolt and plug the tire without removing the wheel. NASCAR doesn't work this fast! It took me longer to fill my car's tank and pay for the gas and repair than the actual repair. read more

Convenient location and decent pricing, but MORE IMPORTANT, great mechanic. Steve has worked on all of our cars for years, and always provides trustworthy and excellent service. Gas and a decent car wash under one roof. The name brand gas is competitively priced. It's not Rotten Robbie but if you pump eight gallons you get the car wash discount. And it's a decent car wash. Car wash will swirl your paint and leave scratches. Don't take your vehicle through here unless it's a lease that you don't care about. The water is dirty and the brushes are visibly filthy. One time I used cash. Wanting the $8 wash (at the time), I put in a $10 and chose it. Didn't get any change. Went inside as asked for my change...was told "no change...if you put in $10, you get the $10 wash". Never came back again after discovering all of the scratches and swirls in my paint after using this place a few times. read more

Review for CAR WASH and ATTENDANT interaction only: Went through the car was. Towards the end I heard something, and then saw a part of my roof hanging off the side. I pulled out to the front by the cashier to inspect. There was a black piece of filler strip that had been ripped off. The attendant happened to be walking out so I flagged him down. He had attitude that I suggested their car wash had done any damage to my car. He said it just snaps back into place, and that happens on his car. Probably the dryer, he says. OK, that may actually be true, but the attitude was something else (like how dare I check that a piece of my car had come off). He suggested I put silicone on it to hold it in place. This is a newer Toyota Highlander that is only a few years old (~35k miles). Sorry, but it isn't the car, there is an issue with your dryer. Also had the same issue as someone below in that the car wasn't even dry. Apparently the blower is just aimed to rip things off the car, but not actually dry the car.....won't go back there for the car wash or the over priced gas.... read more

Avoid this station at all costs. There is a shell just up the street. The attendant came out to take out the trashcans and in the process knocked the whole thing over right into my car leaving a huge scratch. When I brought his attention to it he cussed me out and began screaming at me. Telling me he was going to call the police. I told him to go ahead so I could get a report when I called my insurance. He kept screaming and then went into the station, locked the doors and turned off the lights. It was 9am. I called Chevron customer service and they told me they couldn't do anything! I was mortified. They have forever lost my business. I called my insurance company and will let them fight it out. read more
