Okay , not typical that I would be putting a post of a gas station on here. However, unless it was a little mom and pop place in the mid west , it would never end up on here But this is simply to warn those going through the great town of Los Gatos to avoid this place even if you are on empty - pump didn't work - went to get help and zero effort - 10 minutes in they get it moving , no apology - prices highest in area You get the hint , I was on fumes , my bad .... We come to this gas station quite often since it's close to our house. Well, NOT ANYMORE! The Incompetent employee one can ever imagine. I needed air for our tires So I asked him to turn on the air machine and I guess I interrupted his nap time so with an attitude he hits the button the machine turned off I ask him if he can hit the button again. This time he rudely tells me to read the sign on the machine. Sign says by law they must provide air to customers who pump gas. Like really? I pump here every damn day I tell him that's a dick move and that's not how you treat customers. I tell him fine I'll Pump gas. He then says even if you pump i won't give you air. Well guess what! He calls the cops...... I'm like oh ok go ahead I can hear dispatch on the phone telling him to turn on the air and stop being petty and he refuses. Cops come down to that gas station I'm embarrassed as hell that he's wasting officers time and tax payers money on some bs like this. Cops are looking at him like wtf is wrong with you turn on the pump you prick. He comes outside to say something and they tell him to get inside NOW! all in all I'll never spend a dime at this s*%t hole again. Went right across the street to the shell I believe guess what free air you just press the button on your own. Anyone or any station charging you for air and water should be reported I have went online and filed a complaint with the state for air and water and report this establishment. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Have been buying gas here for decades. No longer. The pump screen system to use Safeway card then credit card does not work. Have tried multiple visits with different error messages. Attendant inside no help. I've been using Safeway card then credit card at pump display successfully for 10cent per gallon discount for years. Never had any trouble til the last month or so. I give up. Something needs to be reprogrammed or an employee who knows how to utilize the system better. Valero a block away is my new go to. Their pumps work and they have excellent supplies for window washing, etc. probably same price as this station less Safeway discount anyway. read more

PLEASE AVOID, INCREDIBLY RUDE EMPLOYEES. Go to the Shell across the street instead. This has been my go to gas station for a long time and I am usually in and out. I had a horrible experience the last time I was here and am never going back after a run in with 2 very rude employees. Looks like several others have had similar issues as well based on the other reviews. So here's what happened. I filled up gas and went in to talk to the employee about filling up some air. This was an older (Vietnamese I think) nice gentleman who told me to pull my car around to the side and that he would turn on the air machine. So I pull my car around and since he did not turn on the machine, I tapped on the glass on the side instead of going back in another time. Since there was no response, I went back in and looked like they just had a shift change and there was a heavier set (Vietnamese also?) younger guy there instead. He went off on me about knocking on the glass. WTF! I can see how this was a misunderstanding and he did know that I had just talked to the gentleman before him. But no mater what kind of day you are having, you should never be this rude to a customer. I am a pretty mellow kind of guy but I won't take someone being rude to me lying down and I told him to back up. The manager comes in, asks what happened and instead of apologizing or trying to de-escalate the situation tells me to not knock on the glass. WTF squared. I am not looking for 5 star service at a gas station but definitely not expecting rude, raging employees. Anyways, I am not coming back. Looking at some of the other reviews, I don't think the owner cares about the service either since nothing has been done. I will vote with my feet and go to the Shell from this point on. read more

I just stopped in this gas station and I just saw an unfair situation. An disabled person arrived in this gas station and she tried to call someone from this gas to fill up her gas and the attendant REFUSE to attend the disabled person and even told that ITS NOT HER PROBLEM AND JOB. What?! I wanna to publish this situation because there is a law that protect the disabled people from this kind of fact. Me and my friend helped the disabled person and she was so ashamed of that situation. She and nobody else deserve this. read more

Gas station doesnt even fucking work. Machine is buggy and took me like 10 swipes to get my card. Yeah theres a sticker on it saying use display. That doesnt help. Trash. Made me late for work and ate shit for it. I was only able to pump 5 bucks in it before it reset self. I just left out of frustration. read more

Car Wash Rip Off Yesterday, after waiting almost a 1/2 in line for the automated car wash, I put a $10 bill in and selected Express wash. When the green light came on, I pulled forward, and nothing happened. (I've used this car wash multiple times) After several minutes, and being honked at by the cars behind me, I pulled up to the front of the station. I told the attendant what had happened. he said "But your car is not washed." I told him again, and he replied "You didn't put any money in then." I said why would I wait in a line for that long for nothing? "You didn't put any money in."I told him "You are a rip-off sir!" I went back to my car and he came running out with his hands raised, and I pulled out as fast as I could. read more

Okay so I was on my way to work from Santa Cruz at around 5:40 pm on 3/14/18 and I needed to stop for gas and buy cigarettes. Some mid age Vietnamese/Filipino lady with a grill was working the register. She takes my id and keeps looking back at me and the card and asks "is this you?" And saying that the photo on the card looks too young. I understand that the photo of me was when I was 12 and had short hair and no facial hair, but every time I buy cigarettes anywhere I have no problems and they even scan my id when they need to. She keeps looking back and forth at me and the card which goes on for 5 minutes. I ask what's wrong and she says "I'm just trying to figure out if it's you or not" She didn't do anything but just act like she didn't know what she was doing and was totally rude the whole time. From what I understand there has been more reviews saying she won't turn on air unless you say "please" and not helping a disabled person. I don't understand how this location hasn't fired her yet for being a complete imbecile and a waste of everyone's time. read more

I was on E, have recently changed my address multiple times and didn't get my zip code right. I went to pay inside (sign & show my ID) and the woman working intercepted me, ordered me back the pump to enter my zip again. I told her i didn't know it and wanted to sign and show ID and she said 'no! you have to know your zip code!' physically blocking the doorway and refusing to even let me inside. Um....couldn't I have entered my PIN or something instead?!? I just can't believe she straight refused to help me. I'm sitting here writing this and she is even arguing with other customers at the pump. Plus one pump is out of order. I don't expect much from a gas station. It's kind of strange to rate a gas station because they all seemed so similar to one another and they're not the kind of business where you get attached to and become a "regular." However, I've always been pretty impressed with this Chevron. I stopped in the other night to fill up my car and use the restroom. The attendant was very friendly and they had the cleanest fuel station bathroom I've ever been to...ever! It smelled like bleach and vanilla, which is a surprisingly delightful combination. Now let me stop here and say that my opinion should care some heavy weight here. No, I'm not being conceited. In my past life, I worked inspecting gas stations monthly, so I've actually been in hundreds of stations all over California. True story. Anyhow, this place is on point, despite it being a Chevron so the gas is never the cheapest in town. read more

High gas prices but i use their free air service. It also has a carwash.

Clean, good location and with my office next door, can run in and grab files when my truck is filling up. Works for me. I think some drugs may get sold out of there because once a month or so, someone gets arrested there. read more

Been going here over 10 years and happy till now. Used a spare credit card early 2012 to buy gas at Chevron pump, and two in-store purchases elsewhere in town, the only time I used the card in last 6 months even though it has been in my wallet all the time. My bank informed me this week that my card had been "skimmed" and fraudulent charges were being made on that credit card number. Card still in my possession. Only way for this to happen is for a hacker thief to tamper with the swipe reader, adding a chip to record credit card numbers. Thief then removes the chip and sells the numbers to be reprogrammed into new cards. 1-out-of-3 probability that this happened at the Chevron pump card reader, although there is no proof. Just that this was only one of three uses of the card in six months. Informed all three stores as courtesy that they should check readers for tampering. The Chevron owner was the only one who seemed unconcerned about the possibility that tampering at the pumps might be exposing customers to credit card fraud. Some gas dealers have started putting seals on card reader equipment, so that unauthorized access to card reader internals would break the seal. Chevron station owner said he had no intention of doing this when I suggested it as a cheap way to improve security of the gas pump card reader. Don't think I'll be using a card at the LG Chevron pumps any longer after this experience. I'll be looking for stations where seals or other security improvements to the card scanners gives me sufficient confidence that using my card there will not result in a fraudulent copy of the card racking up big charges a few weeks later. read more

I got a low tire alert coming down 17 into Los Gatos, so I pulled over ale called the closest gas station, which was this Chevron. I told the cashier who answered I needed to put air in my tire and asked is they had air. She said, "Yes." I asked if the air worked, and she said, "I'm very busy!" and hung up on my. I made to the station and told her there was no need to be rude, I just wanted to know if the air worked. She said, "I don't care. Why would we have air if it doesn't work?" I said at least half of the gas stations I've tried to get air at have a broken machine. She loudly reiterated, "I don't care!" I told her I'm sure her manager will be glad to know that she doesn't care. She started yelling at me that they don't do the air, and I walked out. This cashier should not be in customer service at all. She is a Hispanic woman with gold/silver teeth across the front. She had no name tag, or I'd include her name. read more
