I have been racially profiled and discriminated against. ELLIE who I have never seen there was horrible to me and tried to charge me more than she should have. When I told her she's charging me too much she became aggressive. She was very kind to two guys before me so I knew it was discriminatory. Came in at 8:20pm and the door was locked with a "I'll be back" sign up. Waiting until the female cashier was finally back, went in and asked for a coffee cup to get some got chocolate from their automatic dispenser to be told I couldn't buy one because they don't sell coffee at night. How does one review a Chevron? Why does ones review a Chevron. My tag line is "I get buyers remorse so you don't have to". My review is based on accessibility,parking, patron protection and sanitation, price and value and customer service. My previous question was flagged, as an avid Yelper I do not take that lightly. So I have decided to write a complete review. This station is situated in the beating heart of the village. It can be a bit complicated to navigate the entrance. It reminds me of the old school drive thru dairies of back in the day. The station is tiny. The prices are considerably higher than mist gas stations in the Los Angeles area, this could be because of taxes or price manipulating, who knows they are approx .50+ per gallon higher, and if you're using something other than cash, expect that price to increase. Not sure if The Weights and Measures Bureau or Consumer Affairs regulates petrol prices. Either way rich, poor, middle class, no one likes to overpay. The air and water pump had a huge red sign that said OUT OF ORDER I had taken a picture but was removed Im not sure why? This Chevron is "just ok". It is hard to navigate getting into and out of and the inside store is a bit dark and dingy. The guy at the counter is always really nice though. Not a whole lot else to say. Know before you go.... If you need gas and flowers, there is a flower shop on the same lot. read more

It's in the almost worst location and horrible to get in and out of. Plus very few pumps and stupid arrogant Brentwood/Bel Air/Palisades patrons to contend with; often leaving their cars at the pump to get a latte at Belwood Bakery around the corner or browse the flower store on the same property. Assholes. The gas prices are higher here as they are the closest gas station to Sunset and the 405 fwy. But overall I have seen Chevron trending lower prices at all their stations, could be vying for market share or they might just have lower quality gas... my car doesn't seem to run better or worse on it... FWIW. I usually avoid this place unless I am running on fumes and I can get in, which I usually can't since the entrances and exits are in ridiculous spots. In two words: horrible location read more

I have never experienced such a rude, nasty, and unprofessional manager as I just did at this location. I will never return to such a low quality and disgusting place of business. If you want to be verbally accosted, screamed at, and degraded by being called a bitch then this is the right gas station for you. But my suggestion would be to go down the road and get your gas at a more respectable location. To note, I visited this place at 6:25 PM on a Thursday, just in case anybody gets to experience such a delightful human being as I did. Horrible service. The clerk is very rude, the bathroom is out of order. And the price of gas is outrageous.

It's very hard to navigate in and out of this station, plus pumps were out of order when I pulled up. When I tried to back up to a working pump, an #*%hole pulled in behind me and wouldn't let me back up! Why doesn't the attendant put up cones or something so drivers know when pumps aren't working? I complained but the attendant didn't know anything. From now on I'll go to other stations. read more

The guy that works here in the evenings is often gone during business hours and the doors are locked. On at least five occasions, most recently being this past Friday around 9pm and this past Sunday around 5pm, I have gone here to pump gas and the place is locked up or no one is at the register. Ive lived near this gas station for more than 5 years and in the last year the place has really gone downhill. It was troubling watching an old lady pound on the locked doors asking for help with her credit card while no one was there. Hopefully whoever owns this station realizes what the evening employees are doing and puts an end to it soon. read more

I would seriously advise against going to this gas station. Not only are they closed for some kind of maintenance, lack of gas or some other issues more often than any other gas station I've ever been to, they have a track record of hiring the RUDEST workers. Currently, Sharad is the thorn. He is so rude to EVERY SINGLE customer the enters the gas station. He created arbitrary rules and frequently denies service to customers in a discriminatory fashion. He is racist and misogynistic. He seemingly derives pleasure from belittling customers and is never helpful nor polite. I have seen this behavior with countless customers and know that this has cost this gas station a lot of business. I would recommend driving down the street to the next gas station if you don't want to be treated like dirt by this employee. read more

As I was waiting in line for the car at the pump to leave, an attendant pulled up a trash cart, placed cones in front of my car, and walked away... Trapping me between the cones and the car behind me. I've been coming here for nearly 30 years and it's sad to see it so dirty and poorly run. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! they advertise 10 cents lower on their big price board to lure you in, and once you're at the pump, and swipe your card, they'll show the real price at 10-12 cents higher than advertised that they'll really be charging you. they claim to have a tiny little sign on the bottom of the billboard that says cash price! and we're supposed to notice it in high traffic when everything below 4 feet is blocked by the cars in traffic. nice high way robbery attempt, Chevron! read more

This place is terrible. There isn't any actual parking spots, so customers just park at the pumping station. It's one of the most difficult gas stations to even get to. Half the gas pumps didn't work and the gas prices were outrageous. Somebody should light a match and blow this garbage off the map. read more
