This has got to be the sketchiest Chevron ever. Chevron Corporation needs to investigate this location. I've been to this location several times and it's getting worse. They ALWAYS claim the credit card terminal is down and it's cash only (can't ever use my Chevron credit card, the employees have the body movements of tweakers, and employees frequently have people hanging out with them. I asked the employee a question and three people answered random bs. I felt very uncomfortable. The car wash payment terminal hasn't worked for months. Strange things going on here. They also don't do anything about the homeless people scaring you outside while you're pumping your gas. I'm sending this to Chevron Corporate and I'm not ever returning to this location. read more

Utilized a credit card for gas purchase of $25.00 and the pump would not activate to pump the gas. The pump had no process for stopping the transaction. I notified the attendant inside who claimed there was no pending transaction history, nor history of purchase for that amount, and claimed he could not refund my money. (Clearly a false claim) A bank check of my credit card shows a pending $25.00 transaction. They are either dishonest or have an antiquated credit card system. In either event, I will never trust another Chevron nor this facility in the future. read more

Credit card machine for the car wash doesn't work, and has been like that for a year. I asked the attendant about it, and she just shrugged it off. Wondering if chevron actually cares about functions of basic service for the customers, doesn't sound like it. read more

No more my favorite gas station. The guy didn't want to serve me because he had to go to break. He asked me to get out he locked the gas station and went out to seat in his car. He could go to break after he served me but apparently he doesn't care about the customers. read more

They are always out of the hand wipes you need to Sanitize your hands after using their filthy pump handles. When I asked for them the cashier told they ordered them. He is basically lying. Because a couple times in the past they told me they were ordering them and the wipes never come. Unhygienic - bad customer service - go to a shell or Mobil instead. read more

Horrible customer service. Car wash stopped working halfway through. Went inside and was immediately met with hostility. "No, it works. Here just go again." That was good they offered me a voucher, but I didn't have time and asked if this was good for the days beyond. It was not. I then just asked for my 8.00 dollars returned. I was given a business card with a phone number. I asked them if I had given them my business card and phone number would that qualify for currency? They didn't seem to get my irritated sarcasm. I tried explaining, it was my money since I paid for a service, which I did not receive. They simply said no and I had to call corporate. They were both obnoxious and rude, especially the older lady (she is there 90 percent of the time and commonly in the mornings). Really not the end of the world. Just piss poor customer service is all. It's a bummer. read more

Had to stop and get gas today and decided to get a drink, I was told to leave the store because I did not have a face mask on. While I understand this is a time we should be considerate of others health, I am unable to get a mask due to them being sold out everywhere and I am still working 10 hour days.. What angers me is that there was no one outside telling people they needed a mask, I was already in the store with a drink in my hand when 1 of 3 guys working the front with 2 registers (1-2ft apart, not 6ft) walked all the way from the front from behind a plastic barrier to confront me and tell Me I need to leave the store because I am not wearing a mask (while standing 2-3ft from me). I kindly apologized, Put the drink back and took my business to the shell across the street and they served me with no issues they also had proper ppe for their employee without making the customer feel like a shitty person. My suggestion is follow the rules you set for your customers, otherwise you just look like Hypocrites. I use to fill up here once a week, I just canceled my chevron card and singed up for a shell card. Will not be going to chevron for a long time. read more

This gas station is located in the same plaza as the Best Buy. There weren't a lot of people here. The price was slightly higher than the Shell across the street and the Shell next to the Walmart on Technology, so I didn't get much (although some is better than pushing one's car around when one runs out of gas). There were squeegees available to wash one's windows. As far as the transaction was concerned, I put the credit card in and it dispensed gas, so it functioned as expected. read more

Yes, they are conveniently located just off of Lake Forest Drive (and Research Drive, I believe), but being there my very first time today during early morning rush hour was not so pleasant. I pulled in and patiently sat behind one car all while observing two aggressive drivers fighting over the next pump as the original driver was still trying to exit. Angry drivers slamming their horns in the seven o'clock hour all just for gas on their way to work, I'm guessing. Who has that kind of energy that early in the morning anyway? Well I see that many previous Yelpers have given this location a high rating, but along with the noted aggression was the fact that each lane only had room for one pump. Seeing how busy this station got during rush hour, maybe the station should consider adding in a second pump per row. It sure looks like they could benefit from it and possibly help the poor grumpy morning commute customers out. Just pulling in and out this morning I felt like I almost could have gotten in a fender bender with those crazy angry drivers. Even turning out from the station was a bit of a nightmare with everyone jamming to the light quickly as possible to get onto the freeway just across the intersection about a block or so. This was way too hectic of an area for me, and I don't see myself coming back anytime soon. read more

Just another day where I'm running on fumes and hoping I'll make it to the gas station. I live in Costa Mesa but work in Laguna Hills now. I actually debated trying to drive back to Costa Mesa and fill up there because gas is cheaper but the needle was way past empty and the gas light was screaming at me. Good thing I did, I was really really low. Filled up all 17 gallons and usually I'm at about 15 when I fill up. Eek. Cost me a pretty penny since my sports car only takes 91. Another ouch at $4/gal. But oh well. The gas station itself is easily accessible and near the Best Buy. Lots of pumps and brightly lit. I went around lunch time and was surprised that it wasn't packed even though it's near a lot of office buildings. That's a good fact to keep in mind. Great convenience store as well. Super convenient with easy access, this Chevron isn't too shabby. I stop by here at least twice a week to pick up my Lotto tickets and never have had an issue. The people behind the counter are friendly and easy-going, and the prices at their pumps are relatively normal (by normal, I mean that they are on par with the other gas stations in the area). Plus, this Chevron has a car wash which is extra convenient! Not too much else to say about this place. Just wanted you to know that if you were in the area and looking for gas, this place will have it and more. read more

Today I've experienced horrible service. Wenny and Asif were profiling, being very rude and disrespectful. I went in to get a Figi water, Gasoline and my Dutch Masters. When it comes down to it Wenny ask for my ID so with no problem no hesitation I pull out my ID and money and then she looks at my girlfriend who is older then me and ask for her ID when I was the one buying it. My girlfriend didn't have her purse or identification on her at the time which should have never been a question or problem since I'm the one paying for it clearly we look the same age but they decided they are not going to sell to us they didn't even look at my ID they said I looked to young with my CALIFORNIA driver's license in my hand. It shouldn't matter what Wenny and Asif think all that matters is what is on my United Stated Identification Clearly stating I Am 21 years old. I was so disappointed and humiliated I had to go to another gas station and I clearly had my ID in hand. This is not Okay and is becoming a problem you guys need to teach your employees and let them know they aren't the ones to decide or judge people by the way they look, CHECK THE IDENTIFICATION!! I wasted so much time today driving back and forward when I had to be home to my puppies with groceries in the back of my car. I really hope you guys take this seriously and handle it. Went for a car wash today and the "sensor" was broke. Two of the employees tried to tell me I broke the machine because I backed up. Meanwhile I sat in the same spot for 5 mins when the machine told me to stop. Even the truck in front of me got fed up when the air blowers didn't work. The employee told me to come back in 6 hours?! I got my money back and will NOT return for another wash. Instead of trying to blame people how about taking proper care of your equipment. read more

his place is a rip off. used the car wash spent 11.00 on "premium" car wash. the next day it rained. went back talked to someone claiming to be the manager. she wouldn't give me another car wash. unlike shell & most other car washes they dont have a 7 day rain policy, I am only talking 1 day. she said she wouldn't give me another car wash even after i explained how most other car washes work. plus she was very rude. i spent almost 60.00 dollars this time on gas & a car wash; this is how i get treated. not a great way to treat your customers, not even a fake " i am sorry" just a rude no. i spend a lot of money here with 2 cars but no more . i will take my money & go where they appreciate your business. read more

Went to this gas station for the first time, and boy does there gas go fast. Spent $60 on a tank of gas and it lasted me three days. Usually my gas lasts more than a week. I went the same places that I usually go. Maybe something was wrong with the gas in that pump, I do not know, but I will not be going back. read more
