I love my Costco. Staff is always super friendly at the registers, the door, the returns. Huge selection of products, and the ones I can't haul home I can just order online and have them delivered. The store is always clean and organized and it's easy to find everything. Produce is fresh and high quality. Best hours to hit this Costco are after 4 pm on weekdays, and after 6 pm it's like a graveyard in here, great if you want quiet shopping. But even on weekends, the lines move pretty fast and they run a tight ship. Love Costco read more

Warning to Costco management: Maria De León provides extremely poor customer service. She has been stationed at the front entrance for nearly 10 years, yet still cannot communicate in English in a customer-facing role. When I asked her to speak English, she became rude and dismissive instead of helping or directing me to someone who could. This is unacceptable and reflects very poorly on Costco. Management needs to address this immediately, because customers deserve respect and proper assistance when entering the store. read more

Who doesn't love cheap gas!?!? Don't be fooled by the Yelp posted hours. Although I'm not absolutely sure, I'm pretty confident they open up at 5:30 am like the rest of the Costco gas stations. I almost didn't get gas here, as I was semi concerned about the hours, however when I arrived around 7:20 am, the pumps were open. It was only $4.19 for regular, which is a steal from where I'm from. I like this gas station as there are plenty of pumps and a long runway for cars. Unfortunately the parking lot has a bagillion medians everywhere so just be careful not to run over one; if you are easily car-sick, this might not be the one for you. Gas up and get gone! read more

Came here many months ago, but it was closed for testing so I didn't get a chance to try it until today, definitely for the convenience this place got it covered, the gas station located pretty far side near the back of the parking lot and the car wash, so you don't get stuck between a big line of traffic, getting access without any construction cones or barricades here were a miracle and a surprise at the same time. The gas price also seems cheaper than their neighbor Laguna Niguel, with a plus of exterior car wash, and they do allow you to combine the pay before you head there, I like this system to come back to Poway because their gas station had a separate system for car wash. Shortest line I've ever waited in for Costco Gas on a weeknight at 5:30 p.m. Also, they have a car wash and you can pay for it while you're getting gas! I believe the cost was around $7. I've been to a lot of Costco Gas Stations and this one is by far my favorite one. I was definitely visiting the area and not a local, but after getting gas from here and visiting their Costco store I might come back more often! read more

If you have enough gas in your tank to make it to another Costco, do it!!!! The Costco on Edinger/Beach is the most reasonable of all I've been to in Oc. This location has to be the most inflated Costco I've ever been at. This location is about .50 more a gallon at the least compared to its local Costco counterparts. Don't get me wrong - I know that Costco is renowned for its gas lines, but here specifically they seem to be extra long. This location located on Doheny , in Dana Point has consistently always been busy , but organized. The prices are competitive and cheaper in my opinion vs Laguna Niguel locations. I like the fact that each bay has lighted gas tank signals that tells the consumer which bay and which gas pump is empty (evident by Green light) and which is occupied (evident by red light). This is my go to location when I am in the area to get gas. The employees are super helpful and the location is clean. Once I stop here, then I go inside to Costco itself and start shopping. Excellent place to stop for gasoline commuting between Los Angeles and San Diego. Costco usually has the cheapest gasoline around. This location has easy access from the freeway. It is never really busy compared to other Costco Gas Stations I have been to. Usually do not spend more than 10 minutes in line waiting to gas up. Since it is located on the back end of the property, their is plenty of space to maneuver. You also do not have to worry about blocking some entrance or exit compared to other locations. read more

Minus one star simply because, gas station was close early on a Saturday night. I was coming down from LA needed some gas. I check on maps nearest Costco gas stations and it gave me this one. The hrs said 6am -9pm. What was my surprise CLOSED. I was not the only car going to the gas station this evening. I don't check yelp for directions nor time. This Costco gas station is well located on the north side of the warehouse with clearly marked route to the pumps. Costco gasoline prices are excellent -- generally lower than even the cash prices at generic gas stations. I frequently stop for gasoline at this station on drives to/from Los Angeles -- relatively convenient to I5 in either direction. And, this Costco has an Exterior Car Wash that you can purchase at the pumps with your gasoline. read more

It's pandemic sometime in time and gas station who is always crowded and with long wait had no lines and seldom people buying gas!

Every time I've went to this gas pump lately the pump shuts off after every like $5 of gas so I have to re situate it and try again. I've tried multiple pumps and this does not happen to me at any other gas stations. By the time I've given up I only get about 3/4 tank. I didn't start having this problem here until about March. read more
