I have filled up at this gas station more than once. Tonight, I came here again for gas. Before…read morepumping gas, I bought two bottles of water. I gave the elderly cashier $10, and she gave me $3.30 in change. Then I handed her $50 for gas and clearly told her that the $3.30 change should also be applied toward the gas purchase. That was two $20 bills, one $10 bill, plus $3.30 in change, for a total of $53.30 to be used for gas. After that, I left the store. While I was cleaning dust off my windshield, the pump stopped. When I checked the pump, it showed only $43.30. I went back inside and spoke to the older Indian woman at the register. She insisted that I had only given her $43.30. What shocked me even more was that she said once I left the store, it was no longer her responsibility. I was very upset and argued with her. I asked her to review the security camera footage because I could clearly see there was a camera pointed at the register. However, she refused, saying she was not the owner, and told me to come back tomorrow. I live in Sacramento. Am I really supposed to drive all the way to Folsom over $10? I want to remind everyone who pays cash at this gas station: always get a receipt before leaving the store. I have experienced a similar situation before, but the Indian woman working at that time was very friendly and refunded the money without even checking the cameras. Perhaps she knew what had happened. Ten dollars is not a large amount of money, but this is a matter of honesty and character. I have donated money to people in need before, but I will never willingly give money to someone who lacks integrity.

I dropped on in the convenience store to see if they had milk. Sure enough they did and it was in half gallon size. The brand was Shamrock which I never heard of before. But it tasted fine, well at least that's what hubs said. It was for him. Before I left, I stood in front of the Icee machine and stared. They had four flavors. All so brightly colored. They said it would be an hour. Thirty minutes into the wait, the police showed up. A very nice officer who just asked what was going. He heard our story and left within two minutes. 15 minutes later, the other worker came out to leave and we talked with her for a minute. Apparently, he was worried that we would start trouble and that I, in my scrubs, would "swing on her". What?!? We used to stop there for gas every day. AAA showed up and we left.
