Gas station car was prices 9/23/18

Decent gas station car wash. The line is usually long on Sunday mornings, ~15 minutes, but they have a good section for drying and cleaning your car after driving through. I've been a few times. It's best to bring your own towels or paper towels as theirs are pricey. Pro Tip: I recommend swinging by the autozone a few blocks away and buying some tire cleaner, window wipes and dashboard materials. It makes your cheapo car washes much more economical. You can vacuum after your 7-10 dollar wash and your whip looks brand new!

I signed up for their premium monthly plan prior to using the car wash. Every time that I attempted to use the car wash there was a line of seven cars or more waiting to be washed. I went into the Chevron conventience store to request a refund. Instead I was issued a sticker which was intstalled seven days after my purchase. I was still unable to use the carwash due to the long lines. I attempted to contact the company through the website which did not work. I again went into the store and was prived a number to contact to request a refund. The person that answered told me to email my request and a refund would be issued. My account was charge again two days after submitting my request. I had been charged three monthly fees before reaching anyone to issue a refund. They wanted to issue a one month refund for the fee paid in advance for the next thirty days. This is a bad business. No one should participate in their monthly plan.

This review is for the car wash only! I have never bought gas or gone inside here but I weekly come here for the car wash. The wash prices range from about $8 -12. Its touch less so it doesn't get everything off, but it also wont bend your front plate out of wack. It does about a 8/10 on cleaning your car. The best thing about this place though is the free vacuums in the back. After you go through the car was you get to a area in the back where you can pull in for a bit and use the vacuum and throw out your trash. This is a GREAT thing! The problem with this place is that everyone loves it and the free vacuums so the lines to get in the wash can be brutal. I have seen the line backed onto Sepulveda with people going crazy honking. Try go during off times or if you only see a couple people waiting. I have gone here plenty times and kept going because I wasn't about to wait in that line.

First, it's very hard to find a Gad station on Sepulveda but luckily we found this Chevron! It's a busy gas station but inside is nice, big, and has a nice variety (they even had my favorite -- cotton candy!) Also, the customer service was great too! Cashier was very kind and didn't mind chatting with me or my husband. However, one downside is that the traffic of cars going in and out can be hectic so you might want to be careful pulling in and out! Also, has a nice car wash! We didn't use it but it looked very nice. Overall, I think this was a nice Gad station :)

unfortunately this car wash sucks. My car came out still muddy and half wet . The dryer does not work good and the this car wash uses water jet only that does not touch your car to clean it well . I don't recommend this car wash not even for free

These are the two scratches purchased with the serial number on them.

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE CASHIER! The cashier who was working last night, 12/4/2021 around 9:10pm was stealing from my friend who went to get a couple items. One large Fiji water, two $2.00 scratchers( which I kept them still) and two Haagen Daz bars. He gave the cashier $100, but guess how much he got back? $74.00. My friend instantly realized something is wrong, asked for the receipt, the cashier was hesitant to provide, but eventually gave out the $10.00( 2 five dollar bills) out and claiming he was withholding because he didn't have change!! To this business owner, your employee is stealing from the customer! Please look into it! And whoever is going in to buy something from here , please ask for the receipt! It is a must from this location!

8/18 The vacuums are out of order, so it's definitely not worth the long wait. management should put a sign out where the line starts

Review #927 2025-105…read more It's been almost a decade since I've been to this Shell station, but I used to infrequently stop here en route home from Westwood because the prices were fairly competitive & it's near the 405 Fwy. I was meeting some friends for the movies when my car's low pressure light turned on, & the next exit happens to be by Shell. I parked by the air/water station to check my tires & they seem fine. The machine didn't have a separate tire pressure gauge to check the PSI; I needed 35 PSI (front) & 32 PSI (rear) for my car. Since I don't need to buy gas, I had to pay $3.00 for 5-mins. The instructions were relatively easy to follow, but I questioned its accuracy since it didn't beep or indicate when it reached the targeted PSI that I enter (modern ones stop automatically), especially on the passenger side when I can't read the gauge. When I was pumping air on the right side, it read at 40 PSI, which makes sense since I've been driving a few miles. Just to be sure, I went into the convenience store & ask for assistance. The attendant couldn't be bothered, but I said I think the machine might be a problem since the low pressure light was still showing after adjusting/lowering the PSI. After rudely telling me to wait because another customer cut in front of me for his car wash issue, he walked out & provided another 5-mins. of air & watched me put air in the front left tire. It was at 40 PSI, which was odd since it stopped during my initial attempt. I explained that to him, & he said just wait for it to reach 35 & walked away. I re-did all 4 tires & the low pressure light was still on. I was running tight on time, & didn't want to dispute the air/water station's accuracy after this 2nd attempt. It may not be the machine, but my car's sensor since the tires look properly inflated. I drove the rest of the way via streets at moderate speeds to minimize the risk of a blowout. Did you know? Since 01/2000, gas stations must provide free compressed air, water, & a pressure gauge during operating hours to paying (gas) customers. Most drivers don't know about this law & pay for air. In past visits, I didn't need assistance (whew!). And just like cellular service, everything's peachy keen until it's not, then you're in service hell just trying to get the service that you paid for. I'm quite put-off by Shell's lack of customer service & care for motorist safety. I doubt I'll be back here at this Shell station.

Most pumps still show signs of tampering. Car wash usually non-functional these days.read more
