Skip this gas station. I needed to put air in one of my tires, stopped in at this gas station to do so. Air pump only takes quarters. I don't have any. Big sign that says "NO FREE AIR". Typically, at places like this, if you buy something in the store they'll turn the air on for you. I go in. I don't really want anything but I get a small item and go up to pay for it. I guess they were changing over, but I had to wait about five minutes (no line) while the cashier just straight up ignored me. Finally, he calls me up, I put my item down. I try to pay, put my card in the chip reader. Doesn't work. So I wait for the cashier to void the transaction. Cashier isn't paying attention. Finally I say something. He clears it. I try again. Doesn't work. Repeat. He finally takes my card and rubs the chip over a plastic bag (as if that's going to help). Then he tries it. Doesn't work. He looks at my DEBIT card and says, " Oh, we don't take credit cards." I'm absolutely blown away. First of all, it isn't a Credit Card, it's a debit card. Second, what have we been doing for the past five minutes? What is this card reader even for? I try to explain to him that it isn't a credit card, it's a debit card. He assures me that MY DEBIT card is actually a CREDIT card. I tell him I really only want to use the air, so what do we do? He says, "You have to pay cash." So I go over to the ATM take cash out. Pay for my item. Remind him that all I want is the air and ask him to turn the air on. Go outside. Air doesn't come on. I wait. Nothing. Go back inside, remind him about the air. He makes a gesture like I'm rushing him. Go back outside. Pump is on. Doesn't work. At this point I'm beyond frustrated. I decide to go back in and let him know that the pump doesn't work. I tell him. He gives me a "what do you want me to do about it?" gesture. Absolutely infuriating. This review has been cathartic. read more

This ARCO has some of the best prices in the area, but is there for also one of the busiest. It's a mess trying to get into the gas station as well as lining up to pump your gas. Not very clean or well-maintained, I don't even bother to go inside here. Come here purely for the best price gas in the area. read more

Basing this review on my experience getting gas. It's debit or cash only so I parked at the pump and went inside to pay cash and give them my pump number. It went quick and smoothly for me, and the extra hassle was worth it since it's the cheapest gas in the area aside from Costco. read more

Gas prices are fairly cheap for this area (but gradually increasing). However, the lot is very small and difficult to maneuver. Expect to experience LONG waits for the gas pumps because rude people frequently sit in their cars and talk on their cell phones AFTER their gas is pumped! Employees are nonchalant about this and refuse to ask people to move, and management doesn't seem to think this is an issue either. Waiting, waiting, waiting... read more

Always cheap gas. This location on this day beat the competition by 9 cents. 9 EFFFFING cents! It gets crowded here and the location next to the mall and on a busy intersection makes for the need to plan ahead. But, these days, its worth it. read more

Avoid this location at any cost. My debit card was skimmed here and someone used the info at another Arco location.

AMAZING PRICES! I now go out of my way to visit this Arco because it's so cheap! When I'm filling up the my gas tank, I really don't care about anything beyond price, and this place is great for that! read more

Stopped for gas this morning and went inside to pay for it. No one seemed there. Empty, then saw a lady who appeared to be hiding behind a display. She looked confused and angry. Can I pay for some gas, I asked. Another angry scowl then she went to the register. I said I wanted ten dollars on pump 7. Use debit card, she said. Okay, I said, is there an extra charge? No, ten dollars, what is wrong with you? Sorry, I said. Used debit card, got the gas and left. Something out of whack I thought. So I checked my bank account. Which I seldom do. Surprise! The cost was $10.35. Well, what's 35 cents? Still I kind of resented the experience. So I called tonight and talked to a nice guy. He said they charge 35 cent for EACH item you buy. Ten chocolate bars cost an extra $3.50. Each item. They don't tell you this when you make the purchase and there is no indication of the surcharge when you use your debit card. At least none that I saw.Or was told about. It's all added after the fact. Lots of ways to look at their "hidden"charge. For example, the vig on a one dollar purchase is about 200 per cent per week at this Arco. That works out to about 10,000 per cent a year. Maybe the lady was scowling because the customer before me paid cash. Who knows? read more

Good gas station but BEWARE, This place can become an absolute MADHOUSE. Since the prices of gas are cheap here, it gets so crazy here. The lot is SUPER small so bigger vehicles are hard to work with. If you see an open space at a pump, better take it because it's a total free for all. Also keep in mind, they DO NOT take credit cards; only debit or cash. I've made that mistake and it's not fun at all. Other than that, this is a pretty good station, just the negatives really make a difference. read more

My regular spot for refills. It's the cheapest gas in Culver City. My only gripe is their cash/credit machines. There is usually one or two out of order. Also, the guys at the register can be a little more friendly for customers in need of some assistance. read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had at an ARCO. Let me give you a little background. My girlfriend walks in and pays the cashier for M&M's and $40 on pump number 2. Not knowing that the cashier made a mistake she came back to the car ready to pump the gas. After trying several attempts at pumping the gas she returns to the store to alert the cashier that pump number 2 is not working. He then proceeded to tell her that she had already pumped the gas (1st mistake blaming the customer) he then proceeds to tell her that she pumped $40.12 worth of gas. Knowing that's she already paid an even $40 for gas she then enters a back and forth conversation with the cashier who prints three different receipts from his Register, none of which belong to her. He then walks to pump #6 explaining to that customer that she (my girlfriend) gave him the wrong pump. Now he's trying to explain to her that the gas she put in her car belonged to us and that she needed to give us $40 instead of just giving us our refund and charging the customer $40 for gas she already had in her car. All in all the cashier was awful and his coworker knew he was just by hearing what happened. He should have apologized for his mistake and moved on instead of getting into a heated discussion about what he did wrong. Don't waste your time or money ! read more

I judge a gas station on how good the pump is. I was there about 15 minutes ago, and the pump sucked. Got $35 worth of gas. I pull the lever and try to have it set by the trigger so I don't have to stand there squeezing. That didn't work, the clip was weak. So then I stand there pumping, and it kept stalling and stopping. Took 8 minutes to fill up. Also when I went inside to pay the guy stared at my cash roll like he was salivating at my wealth. Dude, I have like 85 bucks don't go crazy. I'll look elsewhere for gas in this area, due to the pump being faulty. read more

Cheap gas.......only problem it's a well known spot. It's usually pretty crowded but hey if you want to save money you have to wait.
