I was here recently for a full service gas purchase. I've been here several times & it's always a pleasant experience. I've always found the attendants to be pleasant, professional, & responsive. The attendants do a great job in checking under the hood, washing the windows, & checking the tires. Keep up the good work Marina Del Rey 76! read more

Terrible gas station. They post the cheaper price without indicating that there is a more expensive price for full service and when you drive in you don't know that you are in a full service area requiring you to pay a higher price. I thought they just didn't update their sign with new higher prices. When I figured out that there were two prices I pointed this out to the sales manager - telling him that this was very misleading and people come to their station because they advertise a lower price. he said there was nothing he could do and that I should be more observant - placing the blame on me! How's that for customer service?. He said he has told the woman owner in the past and she will do nothing about the misleading advertising of the lower prices, and that when you pull up to the gas tank you don't know you are in full service paying a higher price. He added that he had been there for 40 years and has heard all the complaints and that there was nothing he could do. Do NOT get your gas here. Terrible service, terrible owner. Misleading and deceptive. They know there is a problem and have no interest in fixing it. As I was leaving I told another customer (who was pumping his own gas) that he was paying for full service gas. He was mad and left for another station. read more

If you are looking for a full-service gas station, look no further. This gas station is staffed with the best gas station professionals I have ever seen. They go out of your way to ensure that your car is in perfect shape for a trip down the road or across the country. Friendly, professional, helpful and kind. I believe the prices are reasonable compared to other gas stations, but I have not done the analysis. I highly recommend this gas station and the team. read more

This review is strictly about the service worker, Alberto. I came in today because my tire pressure light was on. Unfortunately I've been having regular tire issues for about the past 2 years due to nails and screws getting stuck in my tires. Alberto was very kind, nicer than anyone who has ever serviced my car in any way and not only did he put air in my tires, but he had me turn my wheel all the way left and all the way right and checked and found the source of my problem, a small nail in my front right tire. What he did for me wasn't difficult, however it was the first time I ever had someone do this and I truly appreciated it! His excellent customer service was a bright spot in my day and I highly recommend him for any position he applies for in the future. He would be an asset to any company. Thank you, Alberto! read more

I been going to the Marina 76 Gas Station over 20 years. Arturo, Albert and Adam have always been very helpful to me and the rest of my family that come here as well. They make you feel very welcome and always assure us on our cars/suvs are properly working before taking a road trip. read more

Some of the most expensive gas I've ever paid for, but that's not really this station's fault. Just a strange time in our history. Not too far from the rental car returns so this is one of the last places you can fill up before returning. read more

Was in a hurry. Needed gas and water for the washers. Same old rude, s _ _ _. I kept waiting for the guy to put water in the reservoir but he and a 2nd man never seemed to get around to it, over washing the side windows, etc. Then he disappeared and returned, not with water, but a large bottle fluid and began to fill the reservoir. I tried to get his attention, yelled, "Hello". I had to get out of the car. I asked him what he was doing and he ignored me. I said, "I didn't ask for that". He arrogantly said, "You don't want to pay?" And to his friend, "See, what I told you?" I said, "I did ask for that. I asked for water" "And what do do you mean by 'see what i told you"" These guys are plain f _ _ _ in rude and after all these years still partake in these petty, old-fashioned, archaic nonsenses. I don't need the stress or the bullshit. "Oh, I was talking about the tires. Something else." I don't know why the owner doesn't take note and tell his staff to be nice to all the customers and stop trying to upsell or pad the bill with stuff the customer didn't ask to buy. read more

What a zoo! I don't think if there is any management or person in charge here. Shame on 76 by letting this people run a gas station. I pulled up into the gas station while I was on an important phone call, after 1 min a guy showed next to me staring at me. He started like. What's up, I told him give me a sec I'm on a phone then started;: " I don't care, what the f.... You doing here. Then continued to insult me. In a min few Hispanic gas helper all together cornered my and said all the F worlds because I was at the full service area and on the phone. Shame on 76 and whoever owns this location to allow these people treating customers like this. read more

Fernando at the service department is probably the most absent minded people I've ever met. I talked to him in person on 5/27 about bringing my truck in to have it looked at. He told me to bring it the next day around 8am. So my husband went to take the truck in 5/28 at 8am and Fernando apparently never had a conversation with me and told my husband he can look at the truck Tuesday. I don't know what kind of weed Fernando smokes but if he can't remember conversations that happened less than 24hrs ago I suggest taking your vehicle else where. read more

The best full service experience I have ever had. We always stop here when in the Marina.

I have lived in this neighborhood for 16 years and I have NEVER had a bead experience here -- in fact, I have nothing but praise and appreciation for FERNANDO in the Service Garage there. He saved me so much money on an insurance claim! easy to talk to, always answers the phone, works with your schedule, just a great guy. I also appreciate that they actually have "helpers" floating around by not just the full service but also the self-service pumps. Always happy to fill your tires and answer questions. The 76 Station is a real treasure. read more

I've been coming here 10 years. Lately my car runs badly. Turns out they've been putting 87 or 89 in my 91 thirsty Range Rover. The full service guys that I tip. They've been doing this. Simply out of mediocrity. LI noticed one day that and the guy said oh sometimes the hose picks the gas. And kept pumping the treacherous 89. I told him I wasn't gonna pay for 89 and asked him to bring me my cc back. He said they were keeping it and I could pick it up tomorrow. What?! I went off. They brought my card back (of course) after charging me $57 for what I did not order. The guy had the nerve to get angry with ME when I told him that was bad service to let a gas hose determine the type of gas my car gets. He had ONE job. I asked them to top it off with premium at their expense ($15 more bucks) and they said no. Lol Went in a few days later and the girl working there took my number so a manager could call me since I wanted a chance to resolve before going on yelp. I don't care about the money - I just wanted an apology and a sense of let's get it right for you which the service guy NEVER tried to do. No call no text nothing. So here I am. Then I decided to give them another try. Ten years is a long time to patronize a place. I come back and started off with $40 at full service. Back in the day that was a whole tank and then some. The guy is pissed and stomped around. He said $40?!? And rolled his eyes. Time for a Tesla. Why deal with these terrible attitudes? Also there's a gas station on every corner. read more

YOU GUYS!!! This 76 station has full service and boy oh boy, do they fulfill that expectation!!! Nice dude *I'm super sorry I didn't get his name, I was just floored at full service ... Oh yeah, full service! Returning my rental car and had to get gas. Pulled in, all bays were full and still got served very quick. Nice staff, washed windows, offered to check fluids and tires (no thanks, I'm in a rental!) ...just an all round good experience. I'll be back! read more

Alfonzo in full service is not only rude he is extremely unprofessional. I think he has been here too long and hates his job. This location has poor management. I've been coming here for decades and the service has just gone down. He got very aggressive and confrontational with me and it is just unacceptable behavior especially when women are coming here they don't need that sort of treatment. Managers better pay attention to who they have working here read more

I have visited this location for 20 years. Last week they tried to stick me with a full tank payment I didn't make. It's a scam for paying with a card they just tack on phony amounts. Hey yelpers of a "certain age", yeah, you. How many can remember a time when you pulled into a gas station and stayed right in your car? Just relaxed and smiled. A courteous man (this time 2 of them) checked your oil, water, put air in the tires, pumped the gas and took your payment inside and returned with your receipts. Well for a moment we experienced that, and it does cost a bit more -- 38 cents more per gallon -- but what a rush! Being in an upscale area folks do use this full service more than I realized. My friend also states that this station is good on repairs. THE STATION IS ON LINCOLN BLVD AND MAXELLA AVENUE read more

My car was running low on coolant and I stopped at 76 gas station. The cashier signaled for me to move away from the gas pump because the car was steaming because of the lack of coolant. Erik added coolant to my vehicle however it had a leak so it poured out. Mind you...I was working when this happened and had to deliver an item to a client across the street and return to the gas station . Erik advised me not to drive the car because it could seize the engine. Erik was doing the best he could with the situation . I contacted my husband with the information Erik shared.. my husband asked to leave the car there and we would have them fix it in he morning . I asked the cashier( who seemed to be running the show) about getting it fixed there & he told me I could not park there because he didn't think I was going to have it fixed there ( I didn't know they had mind readers at the gas station) and since HE didn't think I was going to get the car fixed there I would need to tow the car out of there??? I was very frustrated to say the least since we were gong to have them give us a quote and get it fixed in the morning . The cashier said if I left it there it would be towed and he would not be responsible. So ...I am supposed to get the car towed home and then get it towed again in the morning back to the station that wouldn't let me leave my car there??? I don't think so !! you've just lost a customer ... and from some of the reviews ...it's not just the cashier we need to worry about when visiting this station. Train your staff again in customer service ....there's definitely room for improvement read more

This place is high way robbery! The workers stand around at the full service part expect to give you gas then hold their hand out for a tip! The last time I was there a worker proceeded to tell me about his sex life. Would not shut up. Stood on my car trying to put his crouch near me. I went there to get my fluids checked. My water light on. One of the lazy 5 guys put water in. I told him my light was still on, they always ask me to get out of my car and stand near them. He asked. I was checking emails and could not. Why do I need to get out of my car? He slammed my hood, and walked away. Then started speaking in Spanish about me. I understood everything. I told him to stop talking about me. Drove away and wrote this review. Stay away from the full service part at all costs. Only go to self service. Like I said they all think they are getting a tip and will not leave your car until they get it. Do not tip them. They will tell you that you need to buy all kinds of fluids. Will bring out 3 qts of everything and over charge you. It's not right. Stay away. Do not let them get over on you! read more

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I was having a health issue and needed to have my car serviced. I called and spoke to Fernando and I was totally amazed when he offered to send two guys to pick up my car, have it serviced, and return it to me. I have been going to that station for years and everyone there is fabulous. The attendants , the service people .
