Honestly, I didn't stop for gas but it's the best stop not for gas hut different kinds of ice cold drinks. From water to Gatorade to sparking water. The cashier was very attentive and efficient. Got to admit though...the prices of drinks and thinks can be pretty high. read more

So I am educated... I know how to read. I know that there's a sign that says no animals allowed. However my dog is a LEGITIMATE service dog. He has always come in with me to pay cash for our gas and I have never had an issue until just now tonight. It's not the fact that the cashier told me not to bring the dog back in, it's how he did it. I will get into that in a minute, but I just want to say there are other things about the store that I do not like other than the discrimination. The location is right on Lincoln, one of the busiest streets in LA, and it's very difficult to pull in and out of during busy hours. Half of the pumps are almost always caution taped off. I try not to write bad reviews, but in this case the way I was just treated it is very much deserved. When I walked in I was very friendly with the cashier. Smiled, even though you probably can't tell because of the mask, but the squinty eyes should probably give it away.. said hello and how are you. Instead of giving me a proper greeting of saying hello back or asking how I am in return, he just said "no dog next time, there's a sign." I didn't give him an attitude, I simply asked "oh, even service dogs?" instead of giving me a simple yes or no answer to my question, he said "yeah, everyone says that." Well guess what a**h*** I am not everyone and my dog is legit. Anyone with half of a brain stem would be able to tell a legitimate professionally trained service dog from a pet being passed off as one particularly in their behavior. My dog was right by my side the entire time and sat behind me like he is trained to do. It's not the fact that my service dog was turned away, it's the fact that this guy had to be so condescending about it. I wish I did have one of my spells and had put my dog in the car when he turned him away... And then let him chew on that lawsuit. Let this be a lesson to business owners that if an animal is not being disruptive and is well behaved, they probably are a legit service dog which you likely cannot turn away. If I had had one of my spells and my dog wasn't there to warn me or fetch my medication, you would have done more than just lost a customer. You would be looking at a serious ADA lawsuit. Let this also be a lesson to people that are passing off their normal pets as service dogs that this is creating a serious problem for people who have legitimate service animals. If you don't want to leave your animal at home or travel without them, figure it out. Because it's making it really hard for people who have legitimate service dogs to be able to have them with us all the time when we need them. I realize this guy probably does not care that he lost a customer because Chevron has a whole s*** ton of money... but maybe the franchisee does care about losing my $200 a month. Worst fuel station I've ever been to because of the people working it. They are all, each and every one, extremely rude. Every time I've gone. This is one of the only places in the Venice/ MDR/ SM area supplying diesel and it's a damn shame. They all act like you're bothering them when you're trying to PURCHASE fuel. I've had eyerolls from both men and women "working" if you can even call it that. It's like they're not being paid....but...pretty sure they are? Stupid. I'll drive towns over from now on for my fuel. Avoid this place. read more

Terrible and sketchy looking. MUCH darker and scarier looking than the one on Lincoln/Venice. Filled up, asked the attendant to turn on the air machine. He said it was "out of order". Yeah right. I asked if I could use my credit card to operate it. Clearly it would work. So I asked him to turn it on, and referred to the 1999 California law mandating free air and water for filling customers. He then got very aggressive, clearly Xposed. WTF? Hey, it's a safety hazard and waste of fuel to have underinflated tires. If you want to break the law when there's a giant sign telling you not to, to try and make $1.50 off of someone, at least have a less lame excuse. I chose this gas station *knowing* that the air pump on a different Chevron I frequent was broken, paid all the gas, and still didn't get the air. (You might ask, why not pay and just get it over with: Half the time these things are broken or don't fill up properly, also I want these stations to follow the law, if they're going to troll me on all sorts of other things). And knowing the guy, if I paid, he might just shut everything off on me because he's bored. Eventually I wandered around to a 76, where I asked for change for the machine, and the attendant just turned on the air despite me buying nothing. WTF. To begin, I went to this chevron occasionally and will not be going back! The employee put money on the wrong pump and expected me to take money from the person who they had put the gas for instead of giving me gas or refunding my cash. The employee had no idea what to do especially after series of events had happened when it could have been avoided if handled in an effective manner. Very unprofessional and under kept gas station. Do not go here unless u wanna leave with an unnecessary bill. Also FYI chevron only sells them gas it's not an actual chevron. read more

The machine for putting air in my tires ate $1.50 and quit. When I went inside the gas station, they refused to refund my $1.50 because they said they were a part of a separate business. read more

I have to give the station credit. After lodging a formal compliant, I was told they let the employee go. I have not gone by and checked on this personally, but I am taking them at their word. I take no pleasure in getting anyone fired, but this was not my call. All I did was inform them of the situation. I can only assume the employee had other complaints lodged against him or they checked out the video feed for that night to confirm what I was saying. Either way, they were great when it came to communicating with me and addressing my concerns. You don't really see this from many places. I feel safe now continuing to frequent this gas station. I live nearby and attempted to use this gas station on the way to work at 5:30 am. Two times the pumps were too slow, tried two of them each time. was able to pump 2 -3 gallons in 10 minutes, the last time all pumps were not working and no signs were posted. All three times the attendants did not respond, I had to knock on the glass, and each attendant just gave a 'it's not my problem' look and gesture. read more

I was sold contaminated fuel at this location which cost me $5000 in damage on my vehicle.

New owner. No more Arco. 6 new pumps. Small store but rumor has it they're gonna build a new store.

Ok service, i have seen better. Didn't like the fact cashier was too slow.
