    Dr. King is excellent and our family highly recommends him…read more We ended up with DDA and Dr. King after serious issues with another local practice and dr. My dad has dysphagia and is unable to swallow safely so he has a peg tube. He had issues with it which led us to seeing a dr at another practice whose only answer to very basic questions including whether a red, heated & seeping area was infected or whether we should worry about liquid coming out around the tube was "I don't know." He ended up very weak and ill and in the hospital & as fate had it on surgery day to replace the tube with a new one we would have had the incompetent dr from the other practice. We refused the surgery and would not let the other doctor from the other practice near our dad again even for a consult. Our other option was to switch his care to DDA and have Dr. King treat him. My sister (a nurse) and I were hesitant after the last experience and did our research before deciding to switch practices rather than wait for a different doctor at the original practice to be available. We consider ourselves very lucky to have ended up with Dr. King and his practice. My sister and I are exceptionally overprotective and have high expectations and have had nothing but a great experience with Dr. King. He and his office are very responsive and proactive to potential problems when thy arise. We had to call the on call dr on a Saturday and on Monday morning we had a call from their office well before 9am hit for me to be able to call. After such a horrible experience by every measure with the other practice it is a great relief to us to have Dr. King caring for our dad on the GI front. Wait times can be a little long at times but the Dr. and his staff are sensitive to it and apologetic when it does happen and it is not frequent. The trade off is you get a doctor who is knowledgeable, thorough, responsive and cares- all traits that are increasingly difficult to find in one Dr. and certainly worth the occasional wait. We are convinced my dad would not be here with us today had we let that other dr. operate and are grateful to Dr. King and DDA for helping us to keep him healthy!

    I have become frustrated with this office. Hard to see a Dr…read more Its months out. Even with a push from an oncologist office, seeing the RN was best they could do. Still more than 1 month out to see the Dr. Long ago when this was called Digestive Disorders Assoc. I canceled seeing Dr Epstein because, as I recall, had at least 2 maybe 3 onsite appt cancellations. Then started seeing DR Walov. We were in sync for many years. I saw nurse m on short order. Was to get a stool sample pkg. I forgot about it as I left, but they did not execute the procedure. ​ So at this juncture I will likely set up a second appt elsewhere to getba 2nd opinion by a Dr who a close friend highly recommended. Can not say deserving of 1 star yet but 3 stars are not desrving either

    T in post-op was very helpful…read more The procedure was an hour and fifteen minutes late! The preop rooms aren't rooms but cubes. There is no privacy and you can hear everything. Talk about HIPAA concerns. And it's gross. Yet I found the whole process completely dysfunctional, receiving multiple emails with confusing instructions. They threaten to charge you a cancellation fee for noncompliance but honestly the whole process was confusing and easy to mess up bc it was not clear. The prep used --Plenvu--contained phenylalanine (aspartame). In addition to not being very safe, it tasted awful. There is no reason to use an artificial sweetener in a bowel prep. It's not healthy. I'm not sure this was the best prep to offer patients. Overall, I'm wasn't happy with the facility & procedures, but T in post-operative did help make it easier. The receptionist was rude and patronizing, refusing to allow me to speak with the preop contact , T, that I had been dealing with. The nursing staff, however, were extremely friendly. That was another plus. Also, family/friends aren't allowed in the waiting area. This can be especially stressful for children or adults who are scared and need a support system around them

My total experience with them would rank very high with any I've had. I had a question late at night about the prep, on the eve of the operation, and I was speaking to a doctor within ten minute. Concerning the facility, it is on the smaller side from what I was use to but once inside it ran as efficiently and pleasantly as any I've been to. I can't compliment the staff highly enough, as they were all professional and extremely helpful and courteous. The procedure went well and was implemented flawlessly. I would not have any issues recommending MDTEC to a family member.

    Zero stars: I would avoid this service center at all costs…read more I initially brought my vehicle in to have suspension components replaced and specifically requested OEM parts. Less than 30,000 miles later, I began hearing suspension noises. When I returned, I was told there was nothing wrong and that they could not replicate the issue. The noise continued, so I went back a second time. This time, I was told that my suspension components were failing -- which made no sense given that OEM parts should last far longer than 30,000 miles. That is when I was informed, for the first time, that aftermarket parts had been installed instead of OEM. To make matters worse, they presented me with a $7,000 estimate for parts that had been replaced less than two years ago. The service manager, Dave, insisted that this was simply an estimate from my original visit. That was not true -- the estimate included additional services that were never discussed during my initial appointment. It became clear that no one was reviewing the maintenance history of my vehicle. After I raised concerns with both the service manager, the GM, and Honda corporate, the diagnosis suddenly changed from "the entire suspension is failing" to "it's just the right driver-side strut." They replaced the strut, yet the noise persisted. On my third visit, I was told there were loose bolts near the steering rack and motor mount and that the issue had been resolved. I still hear the noise. At this point, I am extremely frustrated. The shifting diagnoses, lack of consistency, and failure to properly review service history are concerning. I strongly believe I was being pressured toward an unnecessary $7,000 repair. As a "resolution," they offered $300 off an $800 rear brake job. I do not trust the quality of work or the transparency at this service center. I would not recommend bringing your vehicle here -- not even for routine maintenance.

    I scheduled my service appointment through the Honda Link app, I arrived 10 minutes early for the…read moreoil change and tire rotation (car is 10 months old and purchased from this dealership new). I was told about an hour to 1.5 hours, after two hours I inquired about my car and the look on the service writer said everything. After he walked around and then returned to say they hadn't started the service and said it would be another 45 minutes. I was told they were busy.... I think my next new car will be a premium brand at least there I can schedule a free loaner and not be hostage to a shuttle service and someone forgetting the customer is on site.
