Huge waits even if you have an appointment. They had no idea what they were doing collecting blood from my newborn. They started warming her heal after trying to squeeze blood out of her foot for 3 minutes while laying down and putting her foot in the air. Ultimately the results were that that they didn't collect enough of a sample to run the test. 5 minutes of torturing a 5 day old baby for no reason. To put it in perspective, we went somewhere else for the test and the tech started warming her heal in the waiting room for 5 minutes prior to drawing blood. Then for the blood draw she had me hold the baby upright. Much more quick, painless, and professional. Will not return to Labcorp! read more

Good location, well organized. Went in without an appointment first thing on Saturday morning, very lucky to receive service within 40 minutes. There were lots of people so appointment is recommended. First Off, I didn't have an appointment. I walked into the lobby to a standing room only. There was a heavyset older woman with short red hair and glasses at the desk who yelled, "whoever just walked in, there's over an hour wait!" I simply wanted to make sure that my they received the lab request from my doctor before I decided to wait.The lady without even looking up, snapped at me and another person standing at the window and condescendingly pointed to the express check-in stations while saying "check in on one of those three tablets out there if you want lab work done, then walked away. I did that and waited for 37 minutes before finally getting called to the registration area only for them to tell me that they didn't have my order and that I need to call my doctor again to get it faxed and they would be on the lookout for it and sent me back to the lobby. My doctor's office said they faxed it again while I was on the phone with them. I waited an additional 25 minutes before finally going back to the window to inquire about whether they received it or not. The same lady came back to the window and asked me my name then said we don't have your order and proceeded to tell me to call and repeat the process of calling again and said it usually takes about 10-15 minutes to receive it after they send a fax. I had no choice but to take her word. A few minutes later, different lady (I later found out her name was Felicia) came to the desk so I went up to the window again to check. She found my orders immediately and said they received a fax of the same order twice. She was very pleasant and had a great attitude and a calming energy on top of being funny. I asked if she could be the one to draw my blood. She took me back to the draw room immediately. She was the saving grace. Had it not been for her professionalism and empathetic attitude, (plus she didn't hurt me or leave my arm bruised). I would have rated this location a 1 star. read more

Outstanding!! I went to the Defense Hwy location with my elderly mother--without an appointment. My mom was having trouble using the kiosk to check-in. A couple of staff were at the desk, but Felicia noticed this and came from behind the desk to the lobby and asked us if we needed assistance. We agreed and she politely walked my mother through the process. My mother was delighted by this and wanted to know if Felicia would also be the one to draw her blood. When we got called for registration, my mother asked if Felicia could draw her blood. The lady that was registering her seemed to get upset and passive-aggressively said "Sure, you can have Felicia." Then she yelled to Felicia, who was with another patient, that she had a special request. I thought that was pretty rude. Felicia took my mother to the room to draw her blood. She was extremely kind, considerate, and patient as my mother moved and spoke slowly. My mother advised Felicia that she had very difficult veins and asked for a small needle. She obliged. She talked about Mary Poppins and asked my mother if she could spell 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious' to distract her from worrying about the collection. She was able to find my mother's veins immediately and only needed to stick her once to collect all of the necessary tubes before my mother was able to spell it. Felicia made the experience very pleasant from start to finish. I recommend her at this location to anyone who may be worried about having blood drawn. read more

I took a star off for poor parking, the faulty app and kiosks that and no sign to show that LabCorp is located in this big building. Staff was friendly (to me) and my blood was drawn with no problem. I could feel the tension in the room as I entered. I did the electronic log in, took a seat and was called shortly. The pre-service information queries were asked in a monotone by the staffer who did not make eye contact with me. The phlebotomist didn't even greet me or say anything as the job proceeded. Unable to provide a large enough urine sample the obviously impatient staffer told me I could take a cup and bring it back,"by 3:30 because we close at 4:00." Although this is the lab closest to my home, I'm going to a different location in the future. read more

One particular and terribly rude staff member is the reason I'm giving one star. SO incredibly rude. This person, who seemed to be a lab tech and filling in for the regular front desk staffer at the time, was annoyed and curt when we came to the front desk after the express check-in station indicated there was an error and directed us to the front desk for assistance. She didn't even look at us or allow my 80 yo mother to finish explaining that the kiosk said there was an error, or if there was a urine test so she would know whether she could use the restroom--and without any eye contact abruptly interrupted with "just wait until you're called." HOWEVER, the lab member who took her back for her blood work was very lovely. Kind smile, pleasant demeanor and so incredibly courteous. Perhaps the ill-mannered staffer can learn from her how to treat patients. read more

Service was ok but not personal or caring. You go in they take your body fluids and send you away. Not friendly or sympathetic or trying to make you feel confortable. They processed test results quickly and posted it so I could see it on line. Showed up as a walk-in for clinical labs. Checkin was painless - as long as you bring your drivers license and insurance card. Otherwise, you'll have to type the info in. They were short staffed, but got me in and out about as quickly as you can expect a clinic with a bunch of people waiting and one person acting as receptionist and lab tech. The woman who drew blood wore gloves but didn't use hand sanitizer prior. Beware of this site. They seem nice but are grossly incompetent in their practices. I just got off the phone with the site coordinator and now understand from where the incompetence stems. She just said "our phlebotomist don't check patients in". Yes they do and you would know that if you didn't take long lunch breaks. First I want to say, there was absolutely no wait! The front desk staff called me right back, got me checked in and sent me straight to my drawing station. Erica was my phlebotomist! Erica is absolutely AMAZING! She listened to every concern, when I told her I was an IMPOSSIBLE stick and only have one good vein that bleeds! (Most people ignore this and go for the one visible vein in my body despite me telling them, it does not bleed and it's in a very painful wrist spot!) This LabCorp is very unorganized and uncomfortable. The staff always seems to have an attitude whenever I come to get blood work done. They make you feel bad for asking a question, like it's a problem that you've done so. When I complained about them taking back another patient before me (I was there first and had been waiting) one of the ladies got an attitude and proceeded to make comments under her breath and snarky faces at me. Been to this location a number of times through the years. If there were other options, I'd use them, but there aren't when your working off of a doctor's referral/request for bloodwork. Front office isn't great. Do yourself a favor: use the check-in kiosks and don't ask ANY questions at the front window...not even if you've been waiting over an hour without any updates. If you do, she has about 16 seconds of grace and kindness and then you're in trouble. When she calls your name, use the door to the left of the front window. Provide only what they ask for when they ask for it and get to a phlebotomist as soon as possible...because they are actually OK. Good luck! read more

Overall terrible experience. Brusque staff who were dismissive of questions about the tests. To make matters much worse, they failed to conduct one of the ordered tests, apparently losing or mis-handling the sample. This incompetence has caused a significant delay in treatment due to missing lab results. I have no trust in this lab whatsoever. read more

Completely incompetent. The site manager is particularly inept, incompetent, and unprofessional. I was given the wrong phone number and information for how to resolve a very small issue that precluded my labwork getting done (though I was able to resolve issue myself with a 5 minute phone call to the patient billing line, even though the site staff had called patient billing while I was in the office and had apparently done "all they could do"). The patient billing representative said that my issue should have been resolved by the staff while I was at the site. Severely deficient in communication and professionalism. It is generally not a good rule to blame the incompetencies of your organization on the client, particularly when they are the victim. read more

They do not care about anything but saving money. This check in by your self is awful. Then they check you in and send you to the comfort room to wait. The comfort room is anything but comfort for an older person. The chairs are impossible for senior citizens. The last time I was there there were three very disabled ladies who had to stand and wait because they were unable to get in or out of the chairs in the comfort room. LAB CORP SUCKS read more

They forgot to run a CBC for me so i had to return for that closer to my doc appointment. Receptionist and other women who work there were unfriendly and disinterested and blah at best. The person who completed paperwork for me had to ask someone else how to do it. Meanwhile, two women were over by the window whispering (this after i walked in and heard one of them complaining about someone else). I asked the women, Debra if I was ever called and she looked at me, rolled her eyes, and said she had already called me twice and I had to sit down and wait. I am not sure if she was whispering when she called me but why would I not respond when she called me back, I also have things to do and don't want to sit in a labcorp waiting room all day. Go early on a weekday. The staff is competent and fast. Do NOT come here on the weekends -- the staff members are all incredibly slow and don't seem to know how to use their own computer system. On a Saturday morning, they averaged 10-15 mins per person just to register a patient, and then another 10-15 minutes just to do a blood draw. This does not include just sitting in the waiting room. There were 9 people ahead me when I arrived and I wanted for 1 hour and 30 minutes to get my blood drawn. read more

Lazy and Stupid! These people are so lazy and stupid. They left my wife waiting for 30 minutes one time because the receptionist forgot she was their and thought she could sneak out for a smoke break. They held my wife hostage over blood-work because they screwed up a previous billing for her and thought she owed money; they refused her treatment over their own billing error, and never apologized. Another time they fraudulently charged my credit card for a payment they had also already collected from our insurance. read more
