I've been seeing Dr. Reibman for over a decade; he's GREAT. Although he's retiring, I've also had great care the couple times I went for urgent help and was assigned another doctor. That's one of the BEST things about the MPCP Annapolis office - options! You can see somebody quickly, or you can do telemedicine. There's only one downside: they don't always answer the phone. BUT if you are close enough to drive, just do that - we've always had great results just going in when we had the need.

When she left she recommended another doctor who was also good. I had found the truth about why she left. It was because of the office rules and regulations. I chose another doctor because the practice was very convenient. Then I was shuffled to the new doctor who was kind and helpful. I tried to schedule another appointment but the staff refused to schedule an appointment when I wanted it because of office policy. My husband was Iooking into the practice years ago when his doctor went concierge. They insisted on a meet and greet which wasn't covered by insurance.

I inquired. Miraculously I was deemed a good fit and proceeded with one treatment. Over the span of 3 months FIVE pellets expelled themselves from the incision site. FIVE. I inquired, nicely at first. The nurse that did the treatment said, "these things happen". Repeatedly. No curiosity. She wasn't willing to examine me post-op to inquire into the issue. She did, however, inquire whether I wanted to proceed with the next treatment. Alternately I asked for several weeks to speak with an actual doctor who would be willing to speak with me intelligently. Why? Because the sore wasn't healing and stuff kept falling out of me. Nobody came forth. Not even my regular doc. Instead Dabbs took the cowards approach. He circled the wagons and summarily fired me via Certified Letter. After having been dismissed as a patient I decided to obtain and review my medical records; concentrating on the period of the lead-up and treatment of Testosterone therapy. One record particularly caught my eye, "Medications reviewed.. is using Cialis Viagra for ED issues with some improvement". This entry was patently false. Not only had I NEVER taken Cialis or Viagra I had also specifically denied having any concern remotely relating to ED. BTW apparently Cialis and Viagra are two different medications. The chart entry doesn't even make sense. Either this is sloppy charting or the record was deliberately falsified to justify treatment? I'll never know and I don't care. I still have the records tho. Also - if they try to get you to sign up for their "Wellness Program" ask for details. What is the value added? I think you'll find that the only actual benefit you receive is that they'll continue to see you as a patient. Don't want to pay $700/year for the privilege of being seen by your doc - and paying for it --- in addition to $700? Too bad so sad. :-( My recommendation - get a copy of your records; esp. if your receiving Testosterone therapy. And don't take the wellness bait. It's a scam. The entire medical paractice betrayed me when I actually needed them to speak intelligently to me. They were so frightened of liability that they took the coward's approach. Oh - and Dabb's kept the substantial balance of the "wellness" fee I had paid in advance. Buyer beware.....

When I called to set up an appointment as a new patient I was surprised because the wait to get in was pretty significant (several months), but the person I spoke with explained it was because Dr. Martin only has a limited number of new patient appointments each week, and the rest of her time is devoted to current patients. So, that works out to a slightly long wait to get in for the first time, but much shorter wait times once you're a patient! Like I said though, Dr. Martin is absolutely the best doctor I've had. At my first appointment with her, she really sat down and spent as much time as I needed with her to review my health, my concerns, etc. I've never had a physician give me that much of their time and attention, and it really meant a lot to me. Each of my subsequent appointments has been shorter, but I still leave each time feeling like I was really listened to and taken seriously. I also really appreciate that her style is to provide lots of information for me to make choices for myself, rather than feeling like she's making the decisions for me or pushing me in any particular direction. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Martin to anyone!

It was my first time seeing Dr. Rhodes and I thought she was great! She was very friendly and personable and I felt comfortable talking to her about personal topics. The exam room was very clean. They have a lab on location which makes this location very convenient. I always hated those doctors offices where they referred you to another lab, such as LabCorp. Maryland Primary Care is a one stop shop. I even had a quick eye exam. The lady who took my vitals and obtained my basic information (I think it was Ms. Kathy) was extremely friendly! I see many negative comments concerning the front desk staff but I had no issues. A day or two after making my appointment, my work schedule changed. I called back and was able to move my appointment without an issue. The lady who scheduled my appointment directed me to all of the new patient paperwork online. I am glad I did it ahead of time. She provided me with all of the information I needed for my first appointment, told me what to bring and advised their arrival procedures for Covid. My husband is also a patient of Dr. Ashbeck who he loves. He was experiencing symptoms for many years and finally saw Dr. Ashbeck who had the knowledge and experience to diagnose him properly. I believe he also saw Dr. Zarzuela a short time ago last minute. He had no complaints and liked him as well. Overall, my appointment went well from start to finish. They may need to pay a little attention to the restrooms to keep them fresh and tidy but that is my only complaint. They are in a convenient location with plenty of parking. If in need of a primary care doctor, this is definitely a quality option.

As anyone who's read my other reviews will know, I always have to preface medical reviews by saying that I've been a nurse for over 20 years and tend to be pretty critical of healthcare in general, so a 3-star rating for this office would be a 4-star rating for anything non-medical. Just to provide some perspective...... Getting an appointment with Dr. Fry can sometimes be a challenge, and his office staff are not the friendliest people on the planet. They've never been overtly rude, but just kind of abrupt. However, as I've sat waiting in the waiting room I've overheard multiple phone calls that appear to be from long-time patients (apparently HIPAA rules don't apply here) who seem to have a good rapport with the staff, so maybe we just haven't broken the ice yet. The waiting room itself is pretty small, and I had to laugh at the signs taped to the walls telling you to please sit up straight in the chairs....to improve your posture but also to make the chairs last longer. I can honestly say I've never seen that before in a doctor's office! Be prepared to wait a while, as I've yet to see him run on schedule. Our longest wait was about 45 minutes, but typically it's only about 15 minutes past our appointment time. The actual amount of time spent with Dr. Fry has never been more than 10 minutes, and that's a LONG visit, so I can only assume that his other patients are more complex and require more of his time. As for Dr. Fry himself.....he's a bit too casual for my tastes, but it works for my son. His general appearance is reminiscent of a college stoner who's just rolled out of bed. He's very direct and kind of "jokey" with his instructions, but he gets his point across and does listen to what you're telling him. Like I said, this is a little too casual for me, but for a 19 yr old boy it's just what he needs to make him feel comfortable and open up to talk to him. So if my son is happy and getting good care, I'm happy.....end of story.
