This review is about Conexus Laboratories, who we were told by Annapolis Pediatrics we HAD TO USE. That is a lie. They prefer you to use Conexus because it's less paperwork for them. Conexus Labs has a reservation application that is not functional. You do not have a reservation. You are a walk-in registered at the time you sign in there. So be prepared to wait. Do not make a reservation thinking you will be done in an hour - you will still be waiting. I find it ridiculous that I was lied to about not being able to use LabCorp (specifically asked and was told no) and then lied to by Conexus about having a reservation. read more

I took my high school son there recently for his required high school physical. Nothing complicated - at all. I just received my claims form and saw that Annapolis Pediatrics had submitted my visit with a price tag of $855! No, I won't pay all that, but is this craziness the norm everywhere when it comes to insurance? The visit was with a nurse practitioner, not a doctor. $855! read more

CDC guidelines for fifth dose of dtap and mmr is for 4 to 6 year olds. Physician was rude and has banned a 4 year old patient from the practice because the mother wants to wait until he is six. The child is up to date on all vaccines and fully compliant with the CDC childhood vaccine recommendations. The physician is flexing her power but showing an ignorance of guidelines and good medical advice as well as showing a very low degree of empathy and professionalism. read more

All I can say is we've been with Annapolis Pediatrics for 10 years now and Dr.Conrad is as amazing today as he was 10 years ago. He's always professional, gives great advice, friendly, efficient, patient and genuinely cares about our 2 children. He takes time to answer all of my husband's questions no matter how many we have. We visited the other day for my son's 10 year check up and he made it a very comfortable experience for him, as he had lots of questions also. The staff is always friendly. The office is clean and they always have availability in at least one of their offices. I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else! read more

I'm really shocked by the low reviews. I love this practice. Yes sometimes there can be long wait times. However just keep in mind that you never know what's going on in the room next to or across from you with the provider you're supposed to be seeing. Sometimes what a parent thinks is just a quick trip to the doctors for a "runny nose with a cough" can turn into a medical emergency. That can hold the provider up while they're waiting for the ambulance or for the specialist to call them back. I'm sure if it was your child you would want another parent to understand. My dad was a patient of Dr. Briscoe's at this practice when it was first opened. Dr. Sutton saved my older brother's life when he was a newborn in 1983 when he had a bowel obstruction that Arundel General Hospital(now AAMC) missed. Both my older brother and I were seen at this practice from the time we were newborns until we turned 18. Both my children who are now 14 and 10 have been coming to this practice since they were newborns. My son started wheezing before he turned 2 months old and had other medical issues and other medical diagnoses as he's gotten older and he's always had the best care here as well as my daughter. I have had certain providers call me to check on both my kids when they've been really sick to make sure that they're feeling better, one even called me on her day off which meant a lot to me and was something that she didn't have to do. Need some advice as to who to see? Dr. Libber is an absolutely amazing and compassionate pediatrician. I can't say enough kind words about him. He's been there since both my brother and I were young kids. Dr. Edwards became my pediatrician in 1997 when I turned 12 and she's absolutely amazing. Dr. Fassil, Dr. Conrad, and Dr. Lester are also both great doctors that I would highly recommend. Nichole Tucker who's a nurse practitioner is absolutely fabulous and goes the extra mile for her patients. Kendra Nagey who's another nurse practitioner is absolutely amazing and she also goes the extra mile. I've also never not had a return phone call from a nurse when I've had to call especially when the automated phone system makes you verify your phone number. read more

I loathe this place and not even sure why I continue to take my son here. I guess out of convenience but every time its one thing or the other. Extremely long wait times (which they could care less about), bad or flat out wrong diagnosis and/or recommendations. Don't even bother trying to use their 'leave a message for a nurse to call you back' because they either call back the wrong person or flat out don't return your call. I have complained multiple times to no avail, the service is just awful. If someone can recommend another pediatrician in Annapolis please do because I am at the end of the rope with this place. read more

I've had my kids there for 15 years and have never felt rushed through an appointment, even when it turns out I was over-reacting or my kids just had a simple virus, the staff never made me feel like I was wasting their time. I just wanted to extend a compliment to Dr. Conrad and nurse Gianna for taking such great care of my daughter this past Monday. They were very compassionate and took their time, explaining what they were doing and helping her feel at ease. She also was the last patient of the day, so I know they needed to get home, but I did not feel rushed in the least. All questions were answered thoroughly and to my satisfaction. My daughter did not like the nose swab and became very emotional. Ms. Gianna gave her stickers and told her she was brave. I thought that was very kind. Dr. Conrad was very patient and knowledgeable. I could tell both of these lovely providers really take pride in their work. I wanted to send a quick note to commend them. "Thank you" is not enough. Keep up the great work! read more

Be prepared to wait 30-45 minutes after your appointment time to even be put in a room. The wait time is RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!

As a first time mom I'm impressed! I'm super over protective of my little one so I've been here quit often for extra precaution. Really patient and professional staff. Really clean, convenient hours and locations. The ONLY complaint i had is one of the male doctors (forgot his name). Put his finger in my baby's mouth to check for a tooth without gloves. I was about to grab his hand. That little snag won't keep me from this practice. It's an Asian nurse on staff who's the best ever. She's really knowledgeable and great with the vaccines. read more

Absolutely horrible place. I do not believe they care about your children at all. I did have a wonderful experience with NP Nichole Tucker at the crofton office. Aside from that, I have been denied a same day sick appointment TWO times in one month. This last time, I called hoping they had an opening to see my son but they didn't so the girl offered to schedule me an appointment for the next day. I declined because I was going to take him to urgent care. Realizing I could wait until the next day I called back about 30 minutes later to get the appointment I was offered. A different woman answered this time and she declined to schedule an appointment as a sick appointment for the next day. She said since it is a "same day sick appointment" I have to call as soon as they open to schedule the appointment as they fill up so fast. I asked her why she couldn't schedule the appointment now while I am on the phone with her telling her my 2 month old baby has not been able to keep food down all day and all she said was to call in the morning and I talked over me. I requested to speak to her supervisor because I have been a medical receptionist and I have never been trained to talk to people the way she did. She told me she would have to leave a message for her supervisor to call me back. They never called me. Only a nurse who told me it sounds like my son has acid reflux. She was wrong. He tested positive for RSV this morning. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I will never let them see my child or any future child of mine and I will be sure to get the word out to my friends and family that also use this practice. read more

It's like pulling teeth to get ahold of a human being everytime I have a question. The excuse from when I did get a human is that they have 5 locations. Well you still have patient's that need you. We have an infant that has been seeing Annapolis Pediatrics since birth. Each doctor/practitioner we have met has been very professional and takes the time to listen to us and explain everything. Being new parents we of course have many questions and never have we felt rushed or judged. Kendra is our primary and she is awesome. She has helped with breastfeeding and been very patient with us. We have also been to Annapolis Pediatrics for walk-in visits and they were just as friendly and professional. read more

The practice is simply too busy. It always feels rushed and they failed to give my son a required immunization. I only discovered this after we switched to another practice. If you have the time to micro-manage your child's health care, then you will be ok. The upside--the doctors were nice. read more

Update: I had an appointment to bring my 2 and 4 year olds for vaccinations and I mistakenly came to the Annapolis office when I'd made their appointment at the Crofton office. I completely spaced and when I checked in at the Annapolis office one of the nurses politely made me aware of my mistake. I would've been ok with rescheduling as this was 100% my fault, but they made room for me anyway. There was no attitude, no eye rolling, no judgement and no difference at all in the way I was treated. All of the staff was just as gracious as they were every other time I had come. I can't thank the staff here enough for being so professional. As parents, we make mistakes, we aren't perfect and we have a lot on our plates and the folks at Annapolis pediatrics understand that. I'm a fan for life! I will continue to bring my kids here no matter the distance I have to travel because the service is that outstanding! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I just moved my kids to this doctor's office and 3 appointments and 3 visits later I can firmly say that I'm a fan! The wait times are minimal, they have ample staff, everyone is friendly and knowledgeable, they have set hours for walk-Ins and you can get an appointment very soon after you call (not months later like at their old doctor's office). I love the service, love the people, love the way they run the business, I just love it. Great job Annapolis Pediatrics staff! You guys rock! read more

I have been using the Annapolis location office since my daughter was an infant and now is almost 4 years old. Recently, she had an unexpected ear infection that had her screaming and crying with pain that was heartbreaking. The office immediately made me an appointment for us to come in within an hour - however, it happened during a major tornado storm that caused tremendous back-ups on the road and made us miss our scheduled appointment. After calling and trying to figure out how they could help us, since they would be closed by the time we would arrive -- and then some -- Dr. Jeannine Mogavero and Kala, RN stepped up and volunteered to stay later and wait for us. It was such a HUGE relief and beyond words appreciated that they willingly did this for my daughter! They were SO helpful, professional, kind and patient with us - even with my daughter struggling to let them help her being in so much pain! I cannot thank them both enough and wanted to take this time to recognize what the exceptional customer service that they provided! We are so happy and reassured that this is our office!!! I cannot say enough about my daughters core Pediatricians Dr. Rice and Dr. Conrad! My daughter is 3.5 and both Docs have always provided high quality Healthcare and continuity of care. My daughter was very ill for about the first 1.5 of life. We were in the office almost every 2 weeks sometimes every week during this time frame with multiple ER Visits and specialist at Hopkins. These Docs truly care and are thoughtful and diligent when diagnosing. As a former ped pharma rep this office is big and there are several doctors with multiple offices but somehow I never feel like I'm 1 of thousands of patients. Today Dr. Rice who was only working 1/2 day still managed to peep his head in and speak with me about my daughter. Dr. Conrad was so patient with my stubborn daughter and getting to the bottom of the issue. I really like the 24 hour nursing staff that can talk about issues. I'm hard to please and I just love annapolis peds. Sharion is our go to nurse assigned to us when issues get complicated and she is always responsive. We are blessed. read more

My husband and I love this practice! ( I don't usually write reviews )....we are first time parents and actually started going to a different pediatrician when my daughter was born. The Dr. was ok, but we really did not like the office staff......it was difficult to talk to a Dr. after hrs (we only called the after hrs answering service twice, and once they could not figure out who was on call, so we never got to talk to a Dr). After that, and a couple of other issues, we decided to switch to Annapolis Peds....we could not be more happy, and wish we had started with them to begin with. We never never have to wait long to see the Dr. and are always treated like a priority. We love their walk in hrs, and have used them many time. Their office staff is always very nice and the triage nurse is alway very quick to respond. I also love their website. We are so happy we switched to them, and recommend them to everybody!!!! read more
