Moved in here just over a month ago after living at the Markham Apartments in Cupertino for the past five years -- and I couldn't be happier. Apartment hunting in the Bay Area is a pretty dispiriting process. What you get for what you're paying seems so ridiculous. And honestly, Cherry Orchard isn't cheap. And in less expensive places, with the kind of rent you're paying, your money would take you so much further. But! This was hands down the best place I found, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. I think the primary things that sets this place above others are the grounds and surrounding areas. It truly feels like a little oasis, a home away from the office. There are more modern apartments -- for example, I toured the Hanover Winchester in Santana Row. And those apartments were very modern, with nice appliances, hard floors, and a convenient location. But it felt so stark, too hotel-ish, and ultimately lacked personality. Cherry Orchard feels like a place where I want to spend time. I love going out on my balcony, with a view of palm trees, flowers, and the pool, and cracking open a book. The team has been lovely as well -- in particular, I should shout out the maintenance staff. I've had them come and fix a few things since moving in and they've always been extremely prompt and responsive. Inevitably, as with any place, there are some downsides I'll list. I'm still quite happy, but there's always room for improvement. - Carpeted floors. The carpets are okay -- better than my last place. But they do feel a bit dated, and were already a bit dirty near the entryway when I moved in. Luckily, unlike at my last place, there is hard flooring right at the entryway, so I can take off my shoes before touching the carpet. But, I'd be much happier with hard flooring, and the ability to layer rugs on top of it as desired. - Kitchen storage. Overall, I'm very happy with the kitchen and the amount of storage space I have is terrific. My one small note is that the cabinet to the left and right of the stove are quite deep (nice), but the doors are pretty narrow (less nice). This makes it harder to get out pots & pans/add some pull out drawers that would be useful. - Gas oven. I love the gas stove. I'd prefer an electric oven though. - Kitchen cabinet veneers. These look great, but definitely can warp with heat/peel off (this had happened before I moved in). - Gas fireplace is great, but was very dirty. I ended up paying to have it professionally cleaned. Ended up being so worth it -- it was pretty clear the fireplace hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Now it looks and works better than ever! Well maintained apartment complex with very responsive maintenance team. I knocked it one star because the elevator is broken all the time. If you need an elevator, I do not recommend this complex until they renovate all of their elevators. If that's not a dealbreaker for you, then I highly recommend this community. read more

I would not recommend Cherry Orchard. We live here for less than 1 year. It is too expensive for mediocre service by the office and quality of the units. Swimming pool never reopens even though we were told that it would be ready by the end of June. They told us that construction was done and they were waiting for inspection by the city, but that doesn't seem true because construction is still happening everyday on weekdays. They need to provide updates to us on a weekly basis at this point since half of July is already gone. Community lounge is not free. You need to reserve first and pay $100 per hour for the first 2 hours and then $50 per hour thereafter. I don't know of any luxury apartments that do this. It is not a nice lounge anyways and I have not seen anyone using it yet. It is a waste of property. Disposer in the kitchen sink is not a disposer. It cannot process any food. I heard so many people have problems and call the maintenance team because it often gets clogged. If it is a recurring problem for so many people, the office team should find a better solution. The office team never listens to residents to accommodate their needs. I would have expected such an expensive apartment like here to provide a lot higher quality of life and more flexibility. The office team is never supportive and would always say no without providing any convincing reasons. To me, they are just lazy and do not want to do anything. I have a suspicion that some of the reviews here are fake. Be careful if you are reading other reviews. To be fair, I will mention that the location is quite nice. Trader Joe's is literally just a few minutes of walk and there is also a big park across the street with many tennis courts. read more

This place was beautiful, it's Salmon colored backdrop, accompanied by the Mediterranean style architecture, was simply breathtaking. This is the only complex; I've seen thus far, that has been comparable to what I'm used to. IT HAS DISABLED ACCESS (THAT WAS EVERYTHING) It's gated, in a nice area, well maintained, peaceful, walking distance to eating/groceries, I really wish they hadn't changed the rules on certain criteria. Moved in to Cherry Orchard last weekend and we love these guys. Previous tenant had "used the carpet hard" shall we say and Cherry team had expert carpet cleaners in our apartment on day 1 to address the issues and carpet has come up great. Filed a few tune ups needed yesterday to Jeff and team and they had them all addressed in less than 8 hours. Complex is beautifully maintained (including barbeques!) I already posted on Google how great the pre-sales experience was and so overall we give Irvine and Cherry 5 stars for welcoming us! read more

I would not recommend this apartment community to anyone who values their safety or their belongings. There is no secure package delivery facility, and packages are often stolen. I have had several packages stolen from my doorstep and from the mailroom (which is not secured), and I know that others have had the same experience. The management is completely unresponsive to these concerns, and they have done nothing to improve the security of the package delivery system. In addition, the apartments themselves are outdated and in need of upgrades. The appliances are old, and the cabinets look unappealing. The management has refused to upgrade the apartments, even though they charge a premium rent and have the gall to increase it year after year. We've been living at Cherry Orchard for 4 years and could not be happier. Great facilities that are spotlessly maintained, great, relaxing landscape, and surprisingly quiet considering it's close to El Camino Real. Above all, and this is the best, the maintenance staff are super responsive and helpful. Any issues - electrical, appliances, plumbing etc.. are always addressed promptly. read more

We have just moved into our apartment. Elva and the office staff at Orchard are great. They are most helpful, patient, responsive and courteous. A nice surprise welcome care package awaited us upon arrival and the apartment was very clean and fresh. Everyone at the office have been very accommodating. We love it here. We lived in Cherry Orchard from 2005 to 2020, in a few different units. Galit, Randy, and the maintenance team led by Jeff are all amazing. We called it home for a long time the core team has not turned over - a testament to how the community is run. We've seen some unfavorable reviews and wanted to put this out there to say if you want to live in a centrally located (yes, that comes with some hustle and bustle), well maintained property and have your repairs fixed (not ignored), this is Cherry Orchard. No, we aren't being paid to promote - we're just a small family who had a great experience. read more

Cherry Orchard Apartments is one of the best apartments I've ever experienced. The service here is top notch where they'll respond immediately and help with anything in need. It has such great values from a large pool with a jacuzzi, a gym center, comfortable lounging in the pool area and comfortable lounging all around including grillers! Perfect for the summer. It's also perfect for smart cars where they have charging stations in the underground parking! Customer service is great, and even includes a playground for little ones. I lived in Cherry Orchard for 2.5 years and the only first year I had an amazing experience. Lots of cool things there. But later I ran into too many issues and got a constant feeling that I was fooled at the end of the day. The first issue came with my neighbors who yelled during the night, played guitar, etc. almost every day from 11 PM till 3-4 AM. The leasing office could do nothing until I called the police to stop that. The homeless and random people were visiting our pool and hot tube because of which we were not able to use that. Our deliveries were constantly stealing for the past 3 months. Later the pool was closed for up to 5 months of maintenance. And when I had to extend the contract, the leasing office asked me to pay almost 400$ on a month-to-month basis. So, once we found a better option we decided to terminate the contract and pay 2 months fee if a new resident would not be found before the move-out date. When I was stopping PG&E service, I was told that services for our apartments were already reserved by someone else from the move-out date, though the leasing office said they found no one and charged us about 7000$. One of the deliveries was delayed and shipped in 3-4 days after our move-out date and once I contacted the leasing office, I was told there was a new resident and we did not even receive back our parcel. So, saying all of that, the things got really bad for the past year and I got a real feeling of being fooled with our move-out experience. Hope other residents won't share my experience. read more

Wonderful place! I'm Ina two bedroom apartment with 3 other guys and it couldn't be better. The amenities here and super nice and the proximity to everything in Sunnyvale couldn't be better. They are currently renovating a lot of apartments too, so it's going to be better. As far as noise goes, it's very quiet. I've had to venture out to go to parties at other apartment complexes, but that's not so bad. read more

I lived in 3206 from 2016 to 2018. Paid about $3750/mo for a 2/2 with full-size laundry. MANAGEMENT - Mostly nice, however while they pay lip service to addressing complaints, they take little or no action. SECURITY - offsite and took at least 30' to arrive, IF they did at all. For real problems, call police. NOISE - The biggest downside. ANY noise in the courtyard, including loud conversations and laughter, is amplified by the hard stucco walls that surround it. THEY NEED TO CLOSE THE HOT TUB. The bedroom windows of some of the apartments in Building 3 (including but not limited to 3106, 3206, 3306 and 3406) are either right next to or right over the hot tub - the bedroom windows of the first floor apartment (3106) are literally 10 feet away. I knew this when I rented the apartment - I like kids and found the sounds of kids in the pool during the day to be happy noise. However, I didn't bargain for how inconsiderate some of the adult tenants would be. I complained repeatedly about noisy people lingering there long after it was supposed to close. Managers referred me to security (see above). During the summer of 2017, I had to walk downstairs EVERY NIGHT and remind people that the hot tub closed at 10 to avoid disturbing the people living in the adjacent apartments. The pool gate locks automatically after 10, so I had to enter the pool area at about 9:55, then wait until 10 to so I could remind people of closing hours, then wait some more and ask them a second time if they still hadn't left. Hours are posted prominently on the entry gate AND in the hot tub area, and IT WAS THE SAME DAMN PEOPLE EVERY NIGHT. NEIGHBORS - I think high-density living creates a need to maintain personal space socially unless and until you meet folks. So neighbors weren't overtly friendly, but if you approach them they are generally nice. The residents are from everywhere. Large proportion of residents have families with young kids. Problems were mostly due to the college students who are here doing internships at high tech companies - many of them act like they still live in student housing, and not among people with families and small kids who need quiet at night. Management doesn't talk to them because they want the corporate business. APARTMENTS - not sure of current status of complex-wide renovation but my apartment was updated and quite nice. I loved that there's cross-ventilation. My only complaint: CARPETING. Given how often they are cleaning/replacing it, it is mystifying why they don't install hard-surface flooring - most other complexes in the area have it. It's especially mystifying given that they allow pets, who invariably have accidents even if they are housebroken. Vinyl plank flooring is cheap to buy and cheap/easy/fast to install, not slippery (unlike laminate), incredibly durable, and soft (and therefore quiet to walk on) and easy to clean with a vacuum and a mop. Carpet just doesn't work in dining rooms or entryways (there is only a small tiled area immediately in front of the door so even if you take your shoes off religiously upon entering, there still significant dirt and grit that makes in onto the carpet). AMENITIES - the pool is beautiful, and it's advertised at 80F, which would be great except it never gets that warm. They turn off the heater at 10pm because it's noisy and disturbs the folks in the first floor apartments (sound insulation anyone?). They don't turn it on again until 8am so it's freezing for a couple of hours until it reaches peak temperature - of only 78F. That's too darn cold except for swimming in the middle of a warm summer day. Also, the pool is in the courtyard, and it only gets sun from about 11am to 2pm in the winter, and 10-4 in the summer, which contributes to how chilly it is. So, lap swimming in the morning or after dark is extremely uncomfortable unless you don't mind freezing cold water or have a wetsuit. Mid-day swimming when it's even a little bit warm is pleasant but it's usually difficult or impossible to swim laps during that time because of the kids (who are entitled to be there too) and the fact that there isn't a reserved lap lane (which they could put on one side of the pool or in the middle, since most of the kids stay close to the walls). Dog park is awesome - people were pretty sociable and the park has astroturf. It off-gasses nasty organics when it gets really hot, but it's easy to clean up. Elevators frequently out of order - not a problem for 1st or 2nd floor residents; big issue for those on the 3rd or 4th. People are inconsiderate about garbage, and garbage chute backs up - they should remove it so people have to bring it down and see when it's overflowing. they could actually use another dumpster or more frequent pick-up. One guy hooked up a hose to wash his car (not allowed) and flooded the whole garage. When confronted he was unrepentant. For $3750 a month, it should have been perfect. read more

I moved from Irvine (southern cali) to Sunnyvale 6 months ago. Hubby and I have been living in IAC apartment for 5 years and never ever had problem with the apartment or management. BUT here in Sunnyvale it is quite different. CON: The apartment is not quite close to the standard back in Irvine compare to the price I am paying over here (and the rent here is ridiculous). The office staff - most of them are pretty rude. They think they are something special because they work here. HELLO? this is just an average apartment complex not the Ritz. They usually have an annual review and I will make sure.. that this issue will be known by IAC. They need to improve otherwise the renters will stay out of this complex and I have been noticing many empty apartments here. PRO Very dog friendly - they even have their own dog park. Great location - very close to all the freeways, and shopping center. All in all.... we didn't have a choice when we moved because we didn't want to break the lease and pay $$$. That's why had to upgrade our lease to this apartment. Once our lease is up we will move... this is place is definitely not worth the money to stay. read more

I'm not one to normally take the time to log into yelp and write a review, but I feel I should for Cherry Orchard. Especially since all of the reviews below are negative. Firstly all of the construction is done and the whole community looks great and is quiet! 1. Yes it is expensive. But if you take the time to look at similarly equipped places in the area, this is actually a great value. Prices in the area are all spiking and you must remember that this is a luxury property. 2. I've been living here at Cherry Orchard for 1 year now and honestly I grow more fond of it every month. My apartment is in the back corner of the property away from all of the streets, and it is extremely quiet. I leave my patio door open all the time and only hear the birds chirping in the tree's outside. 3. The kitchen is FANTASTIC. Best kitchen you will get anywhere in an apartment. If you like to cook this kitchen is for you. I do live in one of the renovated units and they did a great job with the renovations. 4. The amenities are nice. The business center, the gym, underground parking. It's all taken great care of. 5. The location is fantastic. I can walk to Trader Joe's, Boudin, Habit, Panera, Chipotle, PF Changs, Safeway, 5 Guys, Pink Berry, Chic Fil A, Starbucks, Peets Coffee. 6. Plenty of parking. Always room for guests which is rare in this area. 7. All units have washer's and dryers. Some units have large laundry rooms with extra storage. My unit has a full laundry room and it is wonderful. Separate side by side washer and dryer with plenty of room for extra storage. Just 2 complaints. 1. This is the first Irvine Company Property I've been to where the clubhouse has to be paid for and reserved. This is very irritating as for what we pay to live here that should be included. 2. The gates can only be opened from the apartments when you have a home phone. Seeing as how I don't need or want to pay for a home phone I cannot open the gate's for guests from my apartment. I hope they fix this soon as it is irritating. read more

These apartments seem to be geared toward transients: those who are working in the area for awhile - the feel here is international. The location is ideal for those who like to walk to places like Trader Joe's, Starbucks, Border Books, the library, and Las Palmas park. They are located in a very busy area, at the cross roads of two busy streets. The grounds are lovely, and well maintained..and the maintenance staff is professional, and very good at their jobs. The rent is steep, though, for the actual apartment interiors. They have very basic appliances. Also to note - try to make a trip here before moving in with children or dogs - since there are so many folks living here (& in the area in general) from elsewhere, the general temperment to dogs is unfriendly (& some people are downright scared of any dog here - large or small!)..also, if you have children, note that the language barrier can be challenging to those from areas who mainly speak English.. Lastly, do not leave any valuables w/ staff in the leasing office - though very nice people overall, I think the security there isn't the best (we had a valuable stolen & no explanation given at all). Rating reflects good walkable location, and tidiness of grounds, and professionalism of maintenance staff. read more

Terrible. Don't stay here under any circumstances. Im writing this at almost 1am listening to very loud music from a party somewhere nearby. Have called security twice and they have done nothing. Im not a party popper but this is a Thursday night for gods sake. Reconstruction is noisy and likely to last a very long time - we were told 2 to 3 months to complete the whole site when we moved in - almost 3 months later only one building is done. They are refurbishing apartments slowly, and you will be lucky to be offered a completed one. THose not refurbished - like ours - are old and tired. In the meantime, if you aren't in a building that is having the exterior repairs - with all its attendant noise, which is EXTREMELY intrusive - you are very likely to be in a building where they are refurbishing one of the interiors - and that is equally disruptive. The sales team blatantly misled us on the way in. Dog poop is everywhere - many residents just allow their dogs to use public areas and don't clean up - there is no attempt to enforce sanitary clean up. We saw a dead rat near our parking area for 4 days in a row - no attempt to dispose of it. We are getting out next week and I can't wait - this has been a really horrible experience. read more

We spent seven months living here at Cherry Orchard...while my husband was on internship. My review would be closer to 3.5 stars... The negatives: the apartments...unfortunately not too impressed with the finishes in our apartment...the bathroom feels a bit old in our unit and constantly dirty with the linoleum floors and the kitchen floor too... The previous occupants of our apartment I suspect had a cat and if we don't leave the windows open you get this bad cat smell when you enter... and because it's only a second floor unit it can be a bit of a dark dungeon at times but grateful when the temps are really warm that it does tend to stay cool. We were impressed with the finishes in the other Irvine Apartment Communities like in San Jose so wish they had put a bit more money on the interiors here. The positives: the grounds are beautiful, the pool is nice, there is a great play area for children in the back (with a slide and grassy field), and my daughter loves walking near the fountains. The other residents are really sweet too, we had very kind neighbors and always ran into nice people at the playground. The office staff is friendly when we've dealt with them (although we did only get half of our deposit back because of the cleaning fees :-(, but they were very open when we moved in to expect that was all we would get back). And most importantly the location can't be beat! We loved the fact that Trader Joes is the gate behind our complex (so plenty of last minute grocery runs), las Palmas park is right across from the complex (wonderful area for children and the playschool has programs for toddlers), and Borders/Starbucks/Peete's/Walgreens/Sunnyvale Library and good local taqueria/greek/vegetarian restaurant and a host of other restaurants are within a really short walk as well (< 5 minutes). It's only fifteen minutes to walk to downtown Sunnyvale with its great farmer's market on Saturday and good restaurants as well and about a ten minute walk to the community center (where our toddler loves music classes and dance classes). So in short it's an apartment complex to live in that is easy to exist without a car and make quick short errands...for this alone, we were really happy that we chose to live here. read more

Again, the office was empty with no guest. Your staff was rude and blunt. After his comment, he just went back to his office by himself. Parents have lived here for a few years. From the outside, its gorgeous. The amenities are top of the line, awesome pool, nice gym/recreation area, and good security. The location is really what makes this place great. Walking distance to trader joe's, with their own personal gate for Cherry Orchard Residents, and also walking distance to the shopping complex which includes great places like borders, chipotle, starbucks, pasta pomodoro, pf changes, etc. However, on the inside the place is really quite average. A little bit more spacious than most, and pretty high ceilings, but appliances and all that is pretty average. The kitchens should really be upgraded from the bland white tile and mediocre appliances. Also, my parent's current place has had some pipe/water problems that the maintenance people have not really been able to fix for a long time. They are usually on top of it, but I'm guessing there is some major problems with the pipes that need work and they don't want to invest the money. So just hope you don't get a bad unit, make sure to check for water damage. You would think with the ridiculously high rent, they would fix stuff like that. read more

I wanted to say thank you for our new playground! My kids love it and I no longer need to cross the street and go to the park, as we have a beautiful new playground right here. A few month back, I came to speak to management in the office explaining/requesting that something be done regarding the old playground instillation. The old equipment was nice but the wood was old and the kids were getting splinters. I came in thinking that no chance would they do something as I am sure this is not a small task but I felt like I had to make my concerns (and other parents) heard. The manager listened to me and to my surprise said she was already working on this and has a plan already in action. She was nice enough to even show me pictures and plans of what was coming. Good to their promise, we got notification that the work was starting and within a week or so we now have a beautiful new playground for our kids that is a pleasure to use. I was a resident at CO for almost ten years and absolutely loved it. The leasing office staff is truly top notch, starting with Randy who is super friendly and responsive. Jeff, the maintenance manager is also excellent and will typically handle repairs within 24 hours, if not 2. The location couldn't be better, near Trader Joe's, a bunch of restaurants and of course sitting right on El Camino Real. Apartment complexes usually aren't synonymous with world class customer service, but this place is the exception. The rent is high, even for the Valley, but you get what you pay for. This is the best apartment i have ever seen in south bay. We are happily staying in 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom apartment from last 2 months and things are going super nice here. Apartment is super clean, quite and environment friendly. Even though it is located in El Camino Real, you will not hear any unwanted noises. Fitness center, big swimming pool, barbecue, club house are some complimentary attractions. Less than a mile radius you can find almost everything you can imagine that includes shopping centers, banks, Downtown, caltrain station, public library, farmer market, restaurants and hundreds more. I am very impressed with the management team. They are very helpful and knows their responsibilities. Randy Wilcome is excellent. I appreciate his job and personally think that no one else can do this job better than him. This is the perfect apartment both from inside and outside and moreover this is my home where i am staying without having any problem. read more

We were residents at Cherry Orchard apartments for nearly eighteen months and loved it. You can find no better apartment community to live, than at the Cherry Orchard Apartments in Sunnyvale. Why? There are a variety of excellent reasons - starting with the stellar support and care of the staff. From Randy, the manager, and his team (who were always able to help with any problem no matter how small or large), to the maintenance crew and ground staff. Whenever we needed help it was done both efficiently and quickly. The team also offered various seasonal community events around the children's playground or the pool area. The apartment we had was light and airy and beautifully maintained with quiet and friendly neighbors. The grounds were lush and well manicured and the apartments themselves were so convenient to much of what Sunnyvale has to offer. The complex is attached to an excellent neighborhood shopping center with a Trader Joes, Starbucks and P. F. Changs, just to name a few. You are a few minutes walk from historic South Murphy Street, Macy's, Target, and a variety of local stores, as well as minutes from Ross, Sprouts, Walgreens and Safeway. Our stay at Cherry Orchards was a very positive experience. We want to duplicate the same living arrangements in So Cal, so we are now specifically looking for another Irvine apartment. I recently moved in to the Cherry Orchard and so far have had a wonderful experience. Randy in the leasing office has been extremely helpful, very professional, and knowledgeable. He was able to answer any and all questions, very attentive to my needs in selecting the apartment that best suits my needs... On the move-date it was unfortunate Randy was scheduled day off, so i had to meet Vanessa... it was kind of disappointing she was cold, unfriendly and never cracked a smile. The maintenance staff have also been fantastic, very friendly and kind... I have submitted two maintenance requests they were both attended on the same day, which I believe is anywhere within 24-48 hours. I have been living in this community for over 3 weeks now... Easing into this community has been very smooth and fun, have added pros and cons below: Pros: Beautiful community situated in the heart of Sunnyvale and at a convenient location, close to Grocery shops, Sprouts, Macy's, Target, down-town. Love the community. Management, Randy is very friendly and helpful, he goes out of his way to help you out. The maintenance team is very prompt and get the work done within 1 business day. Beautiful interiors. stainless appliances, neutral colors. Lovely grounds with lots of landscaping. Cons: The wall of the apartment is really thin that neighbor upstairs you can hear walking. The gym is a little small depending on your needs, it will be nice if they could have bigger TV screen. The rent is not cheap, but if you can afford it, it's really worth it. I'm very happy here and would definitely recommend this as a perfect location for an apartment in the bay area. I highly recommend living here if you are a renter! read more

I'm floating my review between a 3 and a 4. 4 because the staff is actually good and take care of problems in a timely matter. I complained that there were no doggy waste stations and they actually listened and put one in!! Never had an issue with getting maintenance out here. They were even nice enough to help my gf bring a package over to our unit that was left in the main office. That said, the price is pretty high here and quite possibly the most expensive place in sunnyvale. However it's in a very convenient location and completely walkable to everything you'd need. The real issue with this place despite being higher end, there are some real ghetto people here. The upstairs neighbors kid wails like a dying cat. If he's not crying he's stomping in the ground non stop. Since I am living here temporarily, I had not made any fuss about it and decided to just suck it up. However I think in this case the parents should be conscientious about the noise their kids can make from the third floor. Also I frequently find dog poop on the cement walkways!!! Maintenance will clean it up right away because I do notify them when I see it. However once again, crappy people. It's not hard to carry a plastic bag. Also saw a new Mercedes parked outside but someone had poured or spilled soda all over the side. Tldr: Good amenities, great staff, high price for convenience and crappy tenants. read more

We visited Cherry Orchard 3 times with my parents, my aunt, and with my husband I loved it so much! As soon as you walk in you're overwhelmed with beautiful greenery and the staff is just incredible. Galit and Randy are the best! They both really went out of their way to give us a warm welcome and we're patient with all of our questions. Randy gave us the tour 3 times and didn't lack any enthusiasm even on the 3rd tour! For us it was an easy decision to choose Cherry Orchard as our next home and that's due to the great upkeep, location, and Randy and Galit!! Thanks again for all of your great service! read more

Cherry Orchard in Sunnyvale has been my home for over 9 years (with one small break in the middle). Now on to a relocation out of California, I've decided to take a few minutes and write about my experience at Cherry Orchard. It's been really awesome. This is a beautiful apartment complex, spotlessly clean, with a manicured landscape that reminds you of tropical gardens. It is very well organized and taken care of, quiet and beautiful. The support staff is kind, helpful and always smiling. Overall, I felt that this was the right place for me after busy workdays and travels, as I was surrounded and helped by a friendly team. Hands down, the reason why this apartment complex is special and the reason why I have been living here for so long - is the manager, Galit Allen. She deserves the full credit for what this complex offers. Her ability to make it stand out among other high-end apartment complexes, to build and run a tightly knit team like clockwork, and deliver high quality is outstanding. Thank you, Galit! A shout out goes also to Randy (the assistant manager) - always professional, goes the extra mile to help and kind. And to Jeff (the head of the technical team), who is present in person or through his team within minutes or hours to any site in the complex where an issue (small or large) has been flagged. Thank you, Randy and Jeff! For anyone curious about the details - my rental was a 1 BR apartment at the 3rd floor, looking at the pool. On sunny days there were kids at the pool and you could hear them of course, but closing the sliding doors was a quick solution if in need of quiet time. This apartment unit was ideal in terms of temperature, the trees and greenery kept the summer heat out. My neighbors were lovely - a retired couple who has lived at Cherry Orchard for over a decade. I loved chatting with them once in a while. Overall, I cannot think higher or recommend stronger this apartment complex. For as long as Galit and her team are running it, you are in great hands. [And btw Cherry Orchard main office - I truly hope that you appreciate these folks at their real value.] read more

I have been living in Cherry Orchard for about 6 months now. I have had a very pleasant experience with the apartment and staff. The maintenance team is very efficient, friendly and all service requests are addressed pretty much the same day. The front office team is also very friendly and any requests are accommodated. The location of the apartment is ideal with a bunch of stores close by. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The gym is pretty small with 2 treadmills and 2 ellipticals. It gets crowded in the evenings. Would be great if we can have more equipment in the gym. read more

Best place I've ever lived, hardly any negatives to speak of.

Although I am getting ready to move out of Cherry Orchard, I have to say that I have relatively enjoyed my time here. The place is expensive, but there are a lot of professionals that live here. There are not too many kids screaming or dogs barking. We live on the top floor and have a nice view of the mountains, but I would think that living on a lower floor might be kind of loud. For some strange reason we hear our really loud neighbors that live below us (on during the early evening)! I like the gym, but for the amount of money we pay they should actually fix the equipment. I think that they could stand to replace at least one of the two treadmills! I don't have a dog, but I know that this place is very dog friendly. The elevators are sometimes out of service for a few hours, but walking up stairs never hurt anyone. On the plus side, the maintenance guys are really great and they fix the issues promptly and professionally. I do not know how the move out process is. I hear that they might be a bit stingy about giving your full deposit back. Count of paying about $100-$150 for the carpet cleaning and professional cleaning (I think this applies to everyone). We have been happy here, but the apartments are not really priced appropriately for the current market. It seems like there are a good amount of vacancies. read more

I moved in here 3 years ago and I will not even think of moving out from my apartment. I love the people in management, Galit is very understanding and cordial, Randy is accommodating and efficient. My dogs have a place to play with other dogs, environment is always tidy and clean. Not to mention when you need things to fix in your apartment, Jeff and his staff are on the way. I feel safe and protected since the police department and fire department are within walking distance. read more
