Air filters need to be replaced by the tenant I waited all afternoon noon for these people and only to tell me that upon move out they will replace if I want are you serious?!!! the reason for this updated review is the stupid bafoons of trash butler company are the most ridiculous and useless service here!!!! they are the rudest and most unprofessional people!!!! trash is trash!!! they send out violation notices because the bag is too this and that!!! then why have that service in the first place if they always gonna complain about this and that!!!so my suggestion to all the future tenants don't use the trash butler they are the worst living nightmare of services here!!! read more

The staff are very responsible and professional, management is great, the gym is well equipped and there's a swimming pool and spa operated in summer! I enjoyed living here. The amenities are great. When the gym was open pre-COVID, it was probably one of the better ones in the area. The bbq area was convenient and the clubhouse was also very upscale. Location is also amazing. Near the 85, 273, 101 meaning you can access SJ or SF pretty easily. Pretty nice for dogs - lots of grass around the area - although there are some residents who refuse to clean up the poop. There are also some dogs that bark at anything that moves but that's just how dogs can be. Molly was great, Tom was great too. Only caveat I would say is that sometimes, because they're short-staffed, emails often did get lost in transition. read more

Stay away from this building at all costs!!! I was moving to the area from out of state and Dakkota is the guy who gave me the virtual tour of the apartment but first he didn't mention that my balcony is right on top of the trashcan and I can't open my window for fresh air because the smell is horrible and on top of it I have a baby at home and still they wouldn't move me to a different unit!!! And then came the cherry on top.. I was asking for the rent agreement a month before my lease was supposed to end so they lag it for three weeks before they give me the new rent agreement on which they want to raise my rent by over a $1000! To which I immediately responded then i won't me interested in renewing and will finish my original lease and keep my original move out date. Now they want to charge rent after I moved out on my original move out date for the days they withheld the new lease agreement and keeping my deposit for the same reason. So please if you read this far again stay away and look for a different complex!!! Dakkota and the people in the office will tell you anything to get you to sign and it's a nightmare right after. All day long the trash is in the hallways you couldn't walk without smelling this stinky smell all day long and maintenance calls take forever to get anything done. read more

Naya has been our home for the past 2 years and 3 months. I have lived in different complexes in the Bay Area (from Daly City to San Jose) and Naya at Sunnyvale is by far the best. To start with the most important things, the apartment is excellent. Spacious bedrooms, living room, and bathrooms. Big windows allow for sunlight in all the rooms from sunrise to sunset. The apartment gets natural light and heat from the sun and as a result in the winter we do not need to turn on the heat. During summer it never gets too hot. As a result we use the air condition only for the really hot days which are less than 10 per year. So electricity bills are not an issue. More than that, the appliances that the complex has are of very good quality. I know that in most complexes appliances are really cheap and not working properly but this is not the case for Naya. The facilities of the complex are also very nice. During summer we really enjoy the swimming pool that gets cleaned very often and it is never dirty. Clubhouse is by far the best clubhouse I have ever seen. The most important thing is that they allow open access to anyone without booking it. My son learned how to walk in the clubhouse and whenever he was bored in the apartment we could go there and spend some nice time. The Naya community is also very friendly, we have made some very good friends at Naya which are parents as well so we meet very often with our children and play in the yard or in the clubhouse. Finally, the surrounding areas is always very clean and pleasant. The barbecues are excellent and the gym is very nice - they also started to offer free classes which is good for the people that have time to excersize. The location is really excellent, there is a small mall right next to the complex that offers two grocery stores (one is open 24 hours which is really convenient), restaurants, and a pharmacy. This mall is literally 1 minute walk from the complex. What I really did not like in the Bay Area is that I needed to drive to go to the grocery store. But Naya is a nice exception. Also the complex is very close to Mountain View, 10 minutes drive from Castro Street. Also very important, within around 5 minutes drive you can go to many different parks in Sunnyvale and Mountain View: Washington Park, Cuesta Park, Sylvan Park, Las Palmas Park are among others. Most of them are walking distance as well. Finally, the staff is indeed very polite and helpful. We moved to Naya when it started to operate, i.e., November 2017. Since then we have worked with different managers and staff, all of which were always ready to help. For more than a year Molly is the manager of the complex and I have to say that we are very happy with her. What I really appreciate about Molly is that she is a fair-minded person. She has tried and solved successfully all our requests, even the hardest one. I read some bad reviews about impolite staff but living there for the past 2 years and 3 months I really need to say that this is not true. People that had just one bad experience cannot accuse the staff that works really hard in this complex - it is not fair. Finally, rent increases are really reasonable through the resident appreciation program. I used to love some complexes but at the end of the lease, the new lease came with an unreasonable increase in the rent. This is not the case for Naya since they really appreciate their residents. For all the above reasons, I really recommend 100% this complex to anyone that is interested in leaving in a place that she/he can call home. read more

I recently moved out but before I begin my review I want to let you guys know the manager of the apartment has a room in Naya which he lives in. So imagine if you rent a room in a house where the homeowner also lives in one of the rooms, I felt a similar feeling. The apartment is nice but at 4,000 a month I just feel like I can find a better deal elsewhere with all the discounts and promotions ongoing. Because of the nice community room (with a ping pong table and large screen TVs), decent gym, small sized animal bathtub room, and a company that picks up trash straight from your doorstep; NAYA finds itself within the top 5-10 most expensive apartments in this general area, if these added amenities are a must for you, the price can be tolerated, but when they tried to increase the rates on me after my lease expired, that's when I decided to shop around for a better deal (many other yelpers also had similar experiences upon end of lease as well). read more

Naya is probably the best residence complex I've ever lived in. All amenities are modern and maintained pretty well. A huge gym/yoga studio with new equipment in the clubroom and a number of barbeque grills (almost-always-available) in the courtyard are convenient. Also, a spacious swimming pool is a bonus, particularly in summer. The designated gated-underground parking lot is advantageous so you can keep your car clean and secure. The in-unit noise was typical when I used to live in NY, but I've never had any critical issue since I moved to Naya. Above all, the leasing management team is so responsive and courteous. Molly and her team have always gotten back to my inquiries very quickly and kindly helped me solve any issues. My office is based in Palo Alto, so proximity is pretty good too. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone who's looking for an apartment in the Bay area. read more

I moved here in November and I have loved everything about it. The application process was efficient online and they were upfront about extra costs. The office staff of Kim and Molly are view friendly and helpful and super responsive. The maintenance staff fixes things usually the same day of the problem. All of the neighbors here are great and I've never had a noise problem. My unit faces the car dealerships - which means that part of the view isn't great, but it is much better than the alternatives of facing el Camino or facing the lawn area which has the grocery store (loading and unloading and dumpsters) on the other side of the wall. I was very worried about moving into a big apartment building what with the horror stories of everyone else with issues on management or things not being what they expected when they were on the tour, but this place has been great! I've lived in Naya for over a year and I would say this is the best apartment I've ever lived after college. This place is clean, quite, in a very good location, right next to car wash/gas station/grocery story, has plenty of visitor parking space, maintenance guys are so friendly it makes me happy to see them everyday. Neighbors are very friendly as well. Why did I gave three star then? There was one time I received a package notice from the leasing office, I really wanted the package but the office closes at 6, so I left work early at 5:20 with unsolved bugs and project manager keep asking me for my update to go to the leasing office to pick it up. Normally if there weren't any traffic I would get home by 5:40, but this time the traffic was so bad I got to the leasing office at 6:00, I was so hungry/tired but very desperate to get my package and the leasing office's door is open and I saw the leasing managers are inside, so I walked in and ask if I could pick up the package real quick. BUT THE BLACK LADY ROLLED HER EYES AND SAID "don't you know we close at 6?" THEN SHE GOT UP AND CLOSED/LOCKED THE LEASING OFFICE's door in front of me. I'm in shock? I was out of my breathe and tried really hard to get home and it's only 1 min passing 6 and you are still here. Why are you so rude to me? JEEZ!!!! Then the other lady from the office room came out and saw me, she has always been super friendly, and right when she came out, the black lady asked me which apartment I'm in, I said 150 and I'm pretty sure I said clearly, she said "what?" Then I said one five zero, then she pretends she can't understand again. Then I went in the package room and saw my package, so I grabbed it, signed and went out using the other door(since the main door is locked by her) This is seriously the worst experience I've ever had with any leasing managers. I visited Naya today to find an apartment. I was very excited to take a look at this beautiful property. As soon as I walked in a young lady stood up and asked me if she could help me. I said that I was looking for a one bedroom and love to see what they had available. She told me that she was going to lunch and I should come back. She did not ask for my name or my contact. As I was walking out I saw another young lady from another room coming out. I was not offered to be toured by the other lady. Maybe she was at lunch too! I will not go back because I believe the first impression says it all. I certainly don't want to feel the way she made me feel, ignored, in where I would live. Terrible management! My key fob (building/parking entrance key) stoped working several time and every time they conveniently refuse to come up with a resolution unless you meet them in person during office hours. They hardly reply phones and if you leave a message, don't expect a call back. They gave replacements for key fob that does not work. I am wondering why they don't test it properly and avoid wasting tenants' time. However, when one asks for an extra key, they refuse to "sell" it simply because they aren't accommodating at all! read more
