To me, most of that type of food is about all the same, so this place did nothing to separate itself from the "typical" Chinese takeout. Probably the most bland chines food I've ever ordered for take out. My wife and I got a general tso and orange chicken and we couldn't tell the difference between the two of them. Visiting the beach, we wanted some quick down and dirty food. Didn't have high expectations; after all it's Americanized Chinese food. What's we got gave Americanized Chinese food a bad name. The food totally lacked flavor and substance. When food is cooked in a wok it produces Wok Hei (refers to the distinct charred, smoky flavor resulting from stir-frying foods over an open flame in Cantonese cuisine) Not in this case! Very good Chinese food. I called and ordered the General Tso's chicken combination platter, which comes with rice and an egg roll. The store is clean and well run. The service was good and I took my food back to my room. The chicken was very flavorful and had a really good taste. The sauce was really good, tasty and mixed well with the rice. The egg roll wasn't that great, however, the portion was good enough, I didn't need the egg roll. Overall, very good Chinese food. read more

My favorite Chinese food place! I used to go to daycare and do taekwondo with their sons. They practically live there so it's not uncommon to see the sons chilling or doing homework at a table. I only ever pick up orders so I can't say much about the delivery, but at most the food is ready in like 10-15 minutes. I always get the Singapore Mei Fun and my wife loves General Tsos chicken. They're a very nice family, mom handles taking orders while dad cooks, and the sons will fill in anywhere they need help. I've been going here for 10 or so years and it's my go-to for Chinese food. This is always my go-to for Chinese food. It's up the street from my house, affordable, the staff is nice, and it's delicious! I usually order for pick up since it's so close and my order is always ready very quickly which I appreciate! I also love that they offer online ordering and it is so easy to use. I usually order either from the lunch special combination or the regular combination plates. Today I opted for the chicken lo mein and pork fried rice (a carby kinda day). After a very long day, we decided cooking was a no-go. So, we ordered from here for delivery, and we utilized their online ordering option, which was pretty easy to navigate and got me all of the options I could have wanted to add to each item. To start: the delivery was crazy fast, a little less than 30 minutes, but it was 9pm on a Saturday, the dinner crazy was long since over. Everything we ordered arrived. He got a very spicy beef combo, I got the medium spicy garlic shrimp, and we got wontons to share. Neither dish was spicy, at all, even a little which is where one star went. If we order spicy, we expect spicy... there wasn't even a tinge of heat to either dish. The food itself was typical and OK, though his dish severely lacked the main protein. At best there could have been 1/8cup of tiny little bits of beef mixed in (where the other star went). The wontons were pretty good. For another late, lazy night... we'd likely order again. OMG!!! I ordered the chicken wings and French fries . It was the worst meal I have ever had. The fries were full of grease and under cooked. Half of them were still hard, yet full of oil. The chicken wings were cooked so long that I chipped my tooth trying to eat it. I will never order food from this restaurant ever again in life. This place is a strong 4 star!!!! Delicious. Went for lunch with some coworkers and you cannot beat the food let alone the bang for buck. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken lunch special with Pork Fried Rice and a can of soda and it was just under $6. The quality of food was very good and the flavor was amazing. My wife met us for lunch and got the Beef in Garlic Sauce with white rice. The garlic sauce was a little sweet but very good. This place is in Chinese Restaurant News Top 100 Chinese Restaurant's year after year and after eating at this place it is easy to see why. If you are in the area and love Chinese, get some! I'm only giving it one star because I couldn't give it lower. We've ordered from Chen's Wok many times since moving here in '10. The quality of the food has gotten worse over time. We stopped eating Chen's a year ago after I bit into a piece of General Tso's chicken and bit into a staple. Yes, a metal Staple! I went in and they refunded the money for the chicken but I was pretty horrified. Fast forward to a year later, I braved eating there a couple more times because my family likes Chinese food. Their egg rolls have the weirdest bright pink fake pork, ever. Same with the pork fried rice. So we always ordered Chicken fried rice because it seemed less fake. The General Tso's chicken is so disgusting now compared to before. It's always dry and crispy, upon biting into it its weird and slimy. I often wonder if its even chicken. Its weird pink/brown color inside I can't get over. Just yuck, yuck. Another occasion we had family in town and decided to try the General Tso's tofu. This was probably the worst thing I've ever eaten. It was like fried saucy rubber. It was chewy, rubbery and just disgusting. None of us could choke it down. The mapo tofu isn't too bad but its usually crazy greasy. The last order gave my husband food poisoning. Basically, this place sucks. read more

First, I'd like to say that I really appreciate all of the measures they're taking to keep customers safe from COVID when picking up meals - the effort is noted. Aside from that, their food was really quite good. We got the house special lo mein, the kung po shrimp, and the moo shu pork, with some chinese donuts for dessert. Everything tasted good, but the moo shu pork was definitely my favorite. I expected a bit more flavor from the lo mein and the shrimp, but they were still very good. The donuts were very good, but definitely should be eaten while still hot. The only thing that was a bit misleading was that they said our food would be ready in 15 minutes, but when I showed up 15 mins later, I still had to wait another 15-20 minutes. A half hour is still reasonable for pick-up, but I would have liked to know beforehand so I didn't show up early and wait inside the store. This place has the best chicken wings and shrimp fired rice. I order it at least 2-3 times per month. The wings are big and they cook them according to your request. I also love their shrimp and broccoli. The ship are always plump and juicy, never overcooked and mushy. Also, the delivery staff are always prompt and courteous. It is very clean. They have a front window shelf loaded with magazines to encourage people to dine in. The food was so much healthier than other chinese restaurants. Brown rice is a standard choice option with the combination meals. The sweet and sour sauce was a light pink and a bit tart. (Not the usual thick red sugar sludge.)They serve a favorite of mine that I very rarely find. Sesame and scallion pancakes. Every one needs to try them. They are only $2. The meals are about a dollar cheaper than other chinese restaurants so you can afford to try other stuff and not blow up your credit card. read more

Got there at 9, a little bit early, for it to be waiting and of course weary of if it was sitting there since x:xx but to my surprise it was piping hot straight from the cooker.
