It was an encounter with the body, which I had long since gotten out of the habit of. I felt warmth, current, a slight shudder, a response in the lower abdomen. I left there with a slight dizziness and the feeling that I had been in another dimension.

He somehow knows the exact amount of pressure to make me feel completely relaxed while also making sure I (and my knots!) get some good use out of his magical hands. He's also incredibly thoughtful about checking in before every session to see what I'm in for that day, whether it's a full-body massage, certain areas that need extra attention, or anything I want him to avoid. And afterward, he always follows up with what he noticed during the massage and any recommendations for things I can do at home to help in between my monthly sessions. My 50 minutes with him absolutely FLY by, and if/when my schedule allows, I will definitely be splurging on an 80-minute session. Ralph is such a friendly, kind, genuinely caring person, and I truly can't recommend him enough. Although selfishly, I'm going to be a little annoyed if this review makes it harder for me to get my monthly appointment.

Exceptional Care and Comprehensive Treatments - A Hidden Gem in Ktown…read more I've been seeing this doctor for years, and he is truly the best. His dedication, expertise, and genuine care for his patients are unmatched. His clinic feels like being back in Korea, where medical care is top-tier. The treatments and advanced technology he offers are rare to find in one place. What makes him stand out is his holistic and personalized approach. I first visited for severe neck and back pain from a snowboarding injury. My injury was extremely bad, and I couldn't afford to go to the ER because I didn't have insurance at the time. Despite his packed schedule, he treated me after hours to ensure I received care. Unlike many doctors who simply crack your bones, place needles for acupuncture, or apply hot packs, he takes the time to understand why your condition is happening. He focuses on finding the root cause before starting treatment, and he doesn't charge you unnecessarily for additional services. For example, if needed, he does a general checkup at no extra cost, measuring things like muscle mass, body fat, weight, height, blood pressure, and heart rate to ensure the treatment is tailored to you. This was crucial in my case, as I was underweight, losing muscle, and struggling with insomnia and depression. He suggested herbal medicine, which helped address my weight loss and insomnia--key factors behind my depression. He also guided me on what to eat, which supplements to take, and how to work out. He even makes me work out in his clinic if necessary, taking extra time to ensure I'm strengthening my body correctly. After intense treatments, he offers a massage bed or herbal hot tea to help you relax, which is such a thoughtful touch. His clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including 3D equipment to check body and bone imbalances and machines to strengthen muscles. He handles all treatments himself, saving you from visiting multiple doctors or clinics. Additionally, he accepts insurance for new patients, which is incredibly hard to find these days. Thanks to his care, I'm finally gaining weight, my insomnia is improving, and I feel more positive and hopeful. I still have a journey ahead, but the progress I've made is something I couldn't have achieved without his guidance and treatments. If you're looking for a doctor who truly cares, offers cutting-edge technology, and provides high-quality care with heart, I can't recommend him enough. Thank you, doctor, for your compassion and tireless dedication. I'm so grateful to have found you.

I think I was lucky to get a same day appointment. That said I'd recommend calling at least a few days in advance. Richard is located in K-town on the third floor of an older building. The parking lot is safe and free. Once you pull into the lot, security guards will tell you where to park. Richard started the session by asking a few questions to better understand my needs, sensitivity, and preferences. He used multiple techniques, communicated throughout the session, and is simply a master of massage. It's difficult to describe exactly what he does because it's a combination of acupressure, shiatsu, and deep tissue. Let's just say this isn't one of those relaxing Swedish massage type situations where you fall asleep. Richard intuitively works out tight muscles and really gets to the core of the tension. All I can say is I feel so much better and lighter after just one session. Highly recommend! LOCATION: 5/5 SERVICE: 5/5 VALUE: 5/5 AMBIANCE: 4/5 CLEANLINESS: 5/5 PARKING: 5/5
