The message was great! But the customer service isn't so much so. There were two ladies who did ask if what service we wanted. We asked for foot massage for us both .. they stood a few feet away and spoke in a different language for two minutes.. after saying we don't understand and we're standing right here; they finally told us one at a time ($20 / 30min massage) - my guess is only two workers and a client was already being worked on. We picked me since my partner has a scheduled massage at "the now" this week. The lady who worked on my feet was fast to get it started and a little light on the verbal cues to tell me "sit here"/ "feet up" / "sit back" .. etc - but what she did do, was lift my feet up, put them in bucket , dry them off and prop them up & push my head back onto the pillow She put the right amount of the pressure on my feet , full 30 minutes, very relaxing (even though I'm in the lobby getting my massage & someone came in to ask if they were busy) .. she was thorough and the towels were clean. I had the worst experience at the spa ever. I've gotten many many massages and today I really needed to work on my body because I've been working out a lot. So I went in for a 90 minute deep tissue massage and got punched in the feet instead of more pressure when I asked for more pressure. Although I was unhappy with my massage experience I was still willing to give my therapist a tip. All I asked for was a receipt for proof of purchase for my taxes. Unfortunately my therapist did not understand what I meant even though I attempted using Google translate to explain I needed a receipt and they said there was nothing they can do about it. I left disappointed but then realized I could just use my credit card or debit card and that way I will have a credit card receipt. So I asked the lady to give me my $100 back so that I can use my card instead. After I was charged on my card we realized we forgot to add the tip. So I asked them to give me my hundred dollars back and I can go get change and with the change give them a tip. They didn't have change and tried to take the hundred dollars away from me. Luckily I was able to get my hundred dollars back and I would have went to get change to give a tip but after being yelled at and then the masseuse continued to pull my bag to try to take the money from me I will not be returning back to this spa. read more

I've actually been here a couple of times and never wrote a review; however, the last time I came here, the experience was quite terrible to the point that I don't think I would come back considering there are other massage parlors for similar prices. I came for the $20 foot massage that comes with 40 minute foot and 20 minute body massage. I normally come alone, so I'm usually the only one in the room; however, this last time I came with my fiancee so we were in the room together. The masseuses were extremely unprofessional and talked to each other for part of the massage. In addition, they started charging time for when they led us into our rooms even though it took a good 5-10 minutes before they had set everything up. As for the quality of the massage, I'm normally okay with it here (obviously not the best), and usually I fall asleep during it as well (I consider that to be good). However, this time, the foot massage was the most terrible one I've ever had. She spent most of the time purely rubbing my skin instead of actually kneading like you're supposed to in a foot massage. Then, she also massaged my foot with her knuckles, which I understand if you're trying to put some strength behind it for the bottom of the feet, but why in the world would you do that to the top of the foot where not only is it uncomfortable, but it hurts in a bad way. Overall, since this time was an exception to most of my experiences, I didn't give the place 1 star. But knowing they're willing to hire such terrible masseuses, I will never be coming back. I'm writing this today after a night of complete shock. I cannot believe what I experienced here and am debating reporting it to the police. I hate to call this sexual harrassment but after discussing with many of my peers, that is exactly what it is. First of all, I had asked for the $25 dollar foot massage which is 30 minutes body, 30 minutes feet. He did my body the entire house. I was lead into this room that had a little smell to it, but I didn't say anything. I was instructed to lay face down on towels that felt dirty. He proceeded to massage me. After a while, the dude took off my shorts and massaged my ass cheeks. I let it go on for a little thinking it wouldn't go past that, but that was my mistake. He literally pulled down my shorts and proceeded to straddle me. I told him to please stop but he did not speak English. I would assume he knew what stop meant. THE WORST PART, when I turned over, THE LIGHTS WERE FUCKING ON! I've never been so traumatized in my life! How are the lights on?! It's a private room, but I felt so disgusted. I was traumatized but I wasn't going to let them get away with it. I called my brother's friend to translate to the boss, with the guy who massaged me standing right there. He denied everything. I am told I should report this to the police. I cannot imagine how many people have gone through this experience. The worst part is that they probably have been getting away with it. My friend and I went in to get the $20 foot massage. My masseuse didn't soak my feet with hot water. My friend said his masseuse soaked his feet in hot water. The description on the wall said 40 minutes would be spent massaging the feet and 20 on the body. I don't think think even 20 minutes were spent on the feet. Coming from the East Coast, where $45 an hour massages is really a scam, and they somehow charge you $60 (which is still even considered cheap), I thought $20 was way too good to be true and they would upcharge as well. Boy, was I wrong. They couldn't speak English, and I just pointed at the $20 one where they massage feet for 40 mins, and full body for 20 mins. I honestly felt it was the other way around, and the whole thing was a full body massage. I got a greaeattt massage, my masseuse applied just the right amount of pressure, which was hard, but not painful. After the massage was finished, and it did seem like a full hour, my bill came, and I was ecstatic to see it was just $20. I tipped my masseuse 50%, and she seemed really happy, it was well deserved! I have been to many massage spas and by far this is the best place! They know where to massage deeply and lightly. I love how staffs are very careful with handling your body. I got the 70 min foot & body massage and it was great ($35)! My body feels much lighter and more relaxed. One thing about this place -- there was no english speaking staff when i was there. I checked out all the reviews for this place before coming here and I honestly didn't know what to expect. Overall it was a great experience with only one concern which I'll get into later. In the heart of Chinatown, it's a small cozy place. The decor when you first walk in is nice. To the right you see two mini beds right in front of their glass wall towards the entrance. This kind of scared me at first as I thought they were going to do the massage in front of the hundreds of people walking by. Fortunately, once they come to greet you, they escort you through a narrow hall with rooms on either side after you point to what you want from their menu. Now that's what I'm talking about. I asked for the $20 first just to try it though I was tempted to do their second option. I figured I could always come back another time and get a longer body session if I liked it. (Which I will definitely do). A tiny girl came out and brought a basket of water with solution to soak your feet in while she starts on your neck and shoulders. I was surprised at the amount of pressure she utilized. She applied a good amount of pressure. Next, you lay on your back feet still soaking and she works on the head, face, and sinus pressure points again with great pressure. She also did more work on the neck and shoulders as well as the arms and hands. On to the feet... I never had a foot massage so I wasn't sure what to expect. The stretch to begin felt really good. There were 2 things she did which were quite painful and it wasn't one of those hurt so good but I know it was beneficial and not damaging so I relaxed as much as possible and focused on my breathing. When she was done with my feet I thought we were done but she asked me to lay face down. A good amount of time had already passed so I was taken aback but hey, I won't argue lol. She was working them knots... Magic. Loved it except for one thing... The thing that takes away from a perfect 5 stars... So I've been to a Chiropractor several times and there are these spots where the chiro will touch and it will feel like a weird tender, sore, bruised feeling, something we don't feel very often and hard to explain. Well, I felt that while she was putting forearm pressure on the bottom part of my back over my spine. Now, I'm no expert but from what I understand, when you give or receive a massage, we need to stay off the spine directly and only putting pressure on the muscles on either side of it. She definitely went gun-ho on my spine and it was a concern. Other than that, I had a wonderful experience and I'll be back for sure. I tipped my masseuse 100%. I spent a total of $43 if you include tip and parking. As I was walking toward this place there was another massage place that offered $39/hr which of course doesn't include tip or parking so I'd say... Definitely worth it! read more

Horrible experience. I went there to relax instead i was agitated, frustrated and irritated. It was so loud. The employees talk LOUD. They dont even bother to whisper. I was skeptical about the $20 but we tried it out anyways after dim sum(: We ended up getting $35 worth which is about 40 minute body and 20 minute foot massage. My back didn't really get a lot of work on. I just felt like it was more rubbing. He knew I was tensed because I workout a lot so my whole body needed to be more relaxed before he could really get to work. I enjoyed getting my arms , head and feet massaged. Great full body massages and will definitely relax you and get he kinks out. Be comfortable with a lot of rub downs and rub ups, but it's all worth it. This guy AJ knew all the right spots and took the time to focus on an injury I had. His technique is different, I loved the facial and scalp massage and the foot soak was new for me... My only complaint is that it was too noisy being so close to the front door and I think he left for a min to take a call. I'm assuming he's the owner and is probably the only one whom speaks a little English so I forgive him for that. Overall I thought the massage was great and worth an $10 tip... This place definitely deserves more reviews. This place isn't fancy and there is a language barrier, but come on guys, you're getting a massage where most of the time you're relaxed in a darker room with your eyes closed. The rooms are clean and the beds have the face hole so you can breath when faced down. These people are great at doing massage that target your pressure zones which is what I love because that's what relieves your stress and pain. The prices are incredibly low.
