Anyways, after trying one dentist in town last year and having a horrible experience, I was very hesitant to try again. Luckily, a family friend recommended Dr. Zander at River Bend dental group. I mustered up the courage to book an initial appointment and was able to get in fairly quickly. Dr. Zander and his team were some of the kindest, most honest, and upfront professionals I have ever met. They explain all of your options to you and are never pushy or try to upsell you on something you don't need. I am so looking forward to being a patient of Dr. Zander's at River Bend dental group. And hopefully I can even convince my fiancé to come here someday.

Then the office claimed that this second visit would count as my "second cleaning." So basically, they tried to count one cleaning split into two sessions as the two cleanings I paid for. That's like paying for two burritos and being given one burrito cut in half -- it's absurd. This whole situation was incredibly stressful, frustrating, and felt like a complete scam. It honestly ruined my week trying to sort it out. Their own brochure clearly states "two professional cleanings," yet I only got half of one. There was about 6-8 ppl waiting. Waited 30minutes exactly and still wasn't seen. Neither was anyone that was waiting before me. I imagine if I tried to stay they'd tell me to reschedule or I'd be seen at like 6pm. This isn't right at all and should be illegal. Do better with scheduling patients it's literally not hard at all. They also have a sign that says $50 fee for canceling or rescheduling without 48hr notice. So it's almost like it's intentional so they can charge people who don't want to wait. This is an absolute joke and the employees should find new jobs if they can't structure appointments correctly to avoid wasting people's time. Insane.
