Dr. Yasuda's dentist office is the best in town! I was a patient back in 2007 when I was a teenager and then had to move out of town for school. I finally came back this year and have got to say I have been missing out! First off, Dr. Yasuda's office has exceptional customer service. They are personable, friendly, and professional. Second, they have high technology. They take pictures of your teeth and the pictures can show up in front of you. They also use uv lighting to help check for oral cancer. Third, they are very thorough. They are careful with your teeth, making sure you're comfortable and not in pain. Also, they assess your neck and jaw area to make sure it is normal. Forth, this place is clean and efficient. The office is clean and tidy and the way Dr. Yasuda sets up the system is very efficient to not have the patients waiting. Fifth, they give u a gift at the end of the visit. A toothbrush, toothpaste (sensitive or Normal), floss, and chapstick. I've been to a few dentists and I must say I really enjoy being a patient at Dr.Yasuda's office. Thank you for keeping my teeth nice and shiny! read more

OMG!!! ....It felt like a lifetime since I've haven't had a cleaning, but most important seeing the team ( the homegirls) again. Even with C 19 going on I wasn't greeted at the door with hazmat suits....Lol, but a friendly smile from Janet with sum paperwork. What I did like they did have A sanitizing station at the door.. I had my semi annual cleaning appointment on Monday and always pleasant even though it is a Dentist office!! My Blood Pressure is normal when I arrive but recently I have developed the White Coat Syndrome when they take my blood pressure. Dr.Yasuda and his staff follow the Covid-19 rules, we call when we arrive and wait in our car until they are ready for us. If we're capable, we complete our forms online and if not, I'm sure they have the hardcopy forms for us to complete and sign. We wear our masks, (they also have a disposal mask for us to wear or we could wear it over our own masks) They take our temperature have us sanitize our hands as we walk in. Cleaning appointment went well. They do offer dental insurance, for ones that do not have insurance. Unfortunately, I've had to call Dr. Yasuda for an Emergency Appointment a couple of times!! He calls back immediately and meets me at the office! Or when I call in the morning because of a dental accident, Cindy and Debbie were able to fit me in the same day! read more

CLAIM TO FAME: Best Dentist in the 95831 SERVICE: 5 STARS Dr. Yasuda and crew are the best! Super clean office with knowledgeable, friendly, professional staff. I'd like to visit more often, but even though Dr. Yasuda is patient, careful and gentle, I'm still terrified of going to the dentist. Best dentist ever. I was amazed by their service. They are thorough, EXTREMELY nice. I was amazed by their kindness and they really do care about you. I felt like a patient. They didn't just want to clean my teeth but they care about my health. They took my blood pressure and it was a very comprehensive first time visit. I would recommend this dentist to anyone. This is by far the greatest experience I have had at a dental practice. I really felt comfortable and they really educated me. Prior to coming here, I didn't see the importance of brushing my teeth well and flossing thoroughly, probably due to careless dentists I had in the past. At David Yasuda's practice, they really got into it with me and showed me the correct way to floss and brush. Now, I want to come as often as possible for my cleaning. I'm a first year dental student from Tufts so I naturally get really excited when I see really good dentistry. I came here with my sister a couple weeks back to do a restoration on one of her molars. She was in the UK for the past year and, while it was free, the work that they did was pretty subpar. She had a gaping hole which was barely plugged by a temporary filling material. It looked kinda skeptical so I told her that she should probably have someone take a look at it. I found Dr. Yasuda's office through Yelp and they were extremely flexible and nice about getting her in right away. We had a same day appointment and we had as good an experience as you can probably have. The waiting room is a spacious, well decorated room. The front desk was friendly, attentive, and very helpful. It was as nice a place as any I have been in. When Dr. Yasuda discovered I am a dental student, he invited me into the operatory to watch him do the restoration. To keep it short, he did an amazing job. He is very detail oriented, careful, and, best of all, great with my sister. He explained everything to her and she felt comfortable the whole time while she was there. The restoration he placed is life-like and very beautiful. He reconstructed the anatomy of the tooth wonderfully (not easy with a lot of her cusps missing) and he did it very quickly. It was astonishing how great it looked. My sister has no problems and she loves her restoration (even though its a molar and you can't really see it). I would highly recommend Dr. Yasuda's office to anyone in sacramento. If I were in Sacramento more often, he would probably be my dentist. He is every bit a professional and I'm glad I got the opportunity to watch. Thanks !! read more

Ive been a patient with Dr Yasuda for over 15yrs. The front office staff there are the Best. They are super friendly and are very helpful when it comes to going over procedures and insurance coverages. Just an update of my previous review of the Dr. Yasuda's practice. If you read my previous review you will see that he came in on his day off to see and treat my son, who had an injury to two of his teeth. During that visit he scheduled a follow up appointment for two weeks latter to check on his progress. Well, we had the appointment today and unbeknownst to me, he had scheduled it during his own vacation. His entire office was closed but he and an assistant came into the office to see my son. I think his actions speaks volumes in regards to his commitment to his profession as well as his dedication to giving his patients the best care possible. If you are looking for a dentist for yourself or your family, you could not hope to find a better dentist than Dr. Yasuda. read more

Since 2008 I've been smiling Big!! =]]]....because of Dr. Yasuda's and the professional staff that works for him, with the two big smiles of the receptionist and the team behind door #1 what more can you ask for.=)) The professional staff is always smiling , telling me how to keep my teeth healthy, or talking about football...lol. With my first visit I was quiet as a church mouse, but now I can't stop talking when I come in for my cleaning ...Now all I do is SMILE=}... For many years I'd been seeing HMO dentists in an effort to save money, but was never satisfied with the level of quality and service I received. So last year during my employer's open enrollment period I decided to bump up my dental coverage to the more costly Delta Dental Premier Plan so I could see Dr. Yasuda, as my friend highly recommended him. I had my first visit with Dr. Yasuda yesterday and I can tell you he exceeded my expectations! His facility is very stylish and clean, his staff are all very friendly and competent and Dr. Yasuda impressed me as being genuinely interested in my dental health, as we discussed at great length my dental history and dental concerns prior to commencing with the x-rays, exam and cleaning. He also gave me a brief tour of his facility, which I thought was a nice touch. In addition, he took the time to answer my questions regarding proper dental hygiene, which included recommendations about toothbrushes, toothpaste and mouthwash. I definitely recommend Dr. Yasuda and will never go back to the nasty world of HMO dental care! read more

Around 2010 I carefully spent time investigating and researching the Sacramento Dentistry options. Now, I have been a patient of Dr. Yasuda for about 5 years and could not be happier. He is very and his assistants are professional and gentile. His dental work is meticulous and he seriously strives to be as pain free as possible. I have spend plenty of time in his well appointed office and can confidently say that I do not believe that higher quality dental work can be found anywhere regardless of price. You can be sure that Dr. Yasuda has the technology, experience and skills to take great care of you and your entire family. He really cares about doing the job right and it really shows. This is a family based dental office. I went here for an initial checkup and cleaning. Dr. Yasuda seemed nice but was too busy running around to his 5-6 patients sitting in their chairs to be personable. The worst part about the visit was the cleaning. Normally, I look forward to this part of the visit every time I am at the dentist, one of the hygenists, Annie, had horrible bed-side manner. I believe she is the daughter of the Doctor which explains how she continues to be employed here. Not to mention one of the worst cleanings I have ever had. On top of that, I called the office today to schedule a crown procedure, and was told I'd get a call back but never did. I called in the am too. I'd recommend finding a better dental office if I were you. read more

Dr. Yasuda is a very patient and knowledgable dentist. The office itself is extremely clean, but also decorated pleasantly, and they have the latest in high-tech dental equipment. I felt very welcomed by the staff, and the hygienist was awesome (Janet). They do get pretty busy (a good sign!), so make sure you book in advance. I would wholly recommend Dr. Yasuda's office to anyone looking for a great general Dentist! read more

I came here because I didn't care for my old dentist and my sister told me how great this guy was so I decided to give him a try. He is hands down the best dentist ever. He has high tech equipment so you know you are getting the best care. It was cool since he had a camera and hooked it up to the monitor so I can see what my teeth look like from a different point of view. He takes the time to explain everything and really teach you how to take care of your teeth versus other dentist who just tell me to floss. He has great dental assistants that help out and explain things to you too. As long as I am in Sacramento I have no intention of changing dentist because this guy is great. He even told me the numbers for pockets for my teeth and gave me a print out. I dont think I have ever had that done in the past or if they did they never told me about it. read more

I was recommended by a family friend, and after going to see Dr. Dave, I have been a loyal patient ever since. His staff is awesome, and I have no complaints. Dr. Dave and his staff treat you with the upmost respect, and they are all very professional. Dr. Dave really takes a geniuine interest in his patients and really goes out of his way to make sure that he does the best job he can for his patient. It is definitely a welcome relief to finally find a dentist that cares about his patients rather than his pocket book. Prior to becoming a patient of Dr. David Yasuda's I was a local dental sales rep and got to meet many great dentists in Northern California. When I moved to Dr. Yasuda's area about five years ago I knew exactly who I wanted to see just based on my professional relationship with his office. Want beautiful teeth and the friendliest staff around? Go Dr. Yasuda's office. It may cost me a bit more than other dentists that I have seen, but I now have prettier teeth now that Dr. Yasuda replaced some of my silver fillings with natural looking fillings. read more

False Advertisement…read more I paid $456 for a package advertised as including two professional cleanings, but what I received was completely misleading and honestly infuriating. At my first appointment on September 22, 2025, the hygienist only cleaned half of my teeth in about 30 minutes and told me to come back later in the week to finish. Then the office claimed that this second visit would count as my "second cleaning." So basically, they tried to count one cleaning split into two sessions as the two cleanings I paid for. That's like paying for two burritos and being given one burrito cut in half -- it's absurd. This whole situation was incredibly stressful, frustrating, and felt like a complete scam. It honestly ruined my week trying to sort it out. Their own brochure clearly states "two professional cleanings," yet I only got half of one. The experience left me feeling deceived and taken advantage of, and I would strongly warn others to stay away or double-check everything before paying.

My appointments have been cancelled at the office's convenience, and I say this because Dr. Novan could have simply kept me in the 'dots' that keep the Invisalign in place instead of removing them then telling me to wear the old Invisalign trays. THE TEETH MOVE! I would never recommend this office. Such an inconvenience and for the time and money I've paid, I shouldn't have to go through this.

And they want me to pay out of pocket because my insurance won't cover? Anyway, this will be the last visit from me at this location. Still stand by what I wrote over a year ago…read more I feel like when my life is constantly changing having certain things remain stable through my life are really nice to reflect on. One of those is Dr. Hashimoto's office. I've been here a handful of times this new year for jaw issues that he's been working on with me. One of the reasons why I will always suggest Dr. Hashimoto is because of how methodical he is in explaining what he's doing. He walks you through every procedure no matter how big or small. The hygienists here are always lovely, as well as Valerie and Lisa! Lisa is a new face to me at least, but a welcome addition. One example I'll give is a recent one. I have jaw locking that's due from stress/potential clenching at night. I came in for a visit in which Dr. Hashimoto worked my jaws a bit and I ended up having my jaw lock as he was working on my mouth. His concern was so apparent, it was like an automatic switch. He made sure my mouth wasn't opening to wide, he had Alley put a little gauze in my mouth to keep my mouth open without having me attempt to do so myself. I'm one of those patients, no matter how uncomfortable I say I'm okay because I know I can get through it. This jaw locking was probably my first experience with pain in the seat. It was reassuring to feel his genuine concern in that moment. Sometimes you read horror stories about doctors who act in an unprofessional manner and disregard the comfort of their patients. You won't experience that here. Dr. Hashimoto is witty and engaging. His staff becomes a part of your life in a way. You ask about their kids, ask about the holidays, you exchange stories. It's reassuring and comforting. If you're on the hunt in Sacramento, look no further. I moved down to LA almost three years ago and I still refuse to go anywhere else.

He is BY FAR the BEST dentist I have ever had, and I went to several others before he was recommended to me by friends. He is meticulous, detailed, has a gentle touch, he's funny, and explains EVERYTHING thoroughly before and during a procedure. His staff are top notch because he demands excellence from all of them. His office is immaculate and beautifully decorated. He has gone the extra mile to ensure a very clean and safe environment for patients and staff during these covid times we now live in (e.g., upgraded HVAC system, UV lights, etc.). I am just sorry that it has taken me this long to finally write a review.
