I finally dined at Chemistry. It's been on my bucket list since it opened, but I finally made it. Chemistry is so aesthetically pleasing from everything I have seen online. I knew Chemistry would be the perfect place to visit after my and my fiance's engine photos photoshoot. The booking process was effortless, and I appreciated the convenience of doing it online. As soon as I arrived, I was seated promptly. They take your attire into account when assigning seats, so don't be afraid to dress up for the occasion. This is the first and only black-owned steakhouse in Chicago, and I loved the overall aesthetic of the place. The service was exceptional, and my waiter Ashley was amazing. The gratuity was included, but the service was so outstanding on par with fine dinning The food was good, but I would rate it an 8 out of 10. I really enjoyed the appetizers, and my favorite were the Hennessy wings. They also have great salmon strips. We ordered the steak and chicken dish, and while Rob thought the steak was good, he's had better. However, the presentation of the dish was fantastic. The drinks were also very unique and smoked, which added to the overall experience. I order mac and cheese and I'm a mac and cheese connoisseur I didn't like it intially but I ate if for left overs and it was so good. If you're looking for a cute spot with great food, I would definitely recommend Chemistry. read more

Food was good had a very high energy vibe that made celebrating my Loves birthday fun. Are server Pierre was fun and knowledgeable.

Beautiful restaurant with a beautiful staff. We came in (no reservations) and was immediately greeted and seated. Their happy hour is limited and a bit pricier that most I have seen...but the food is amazing! We ordered the fried salmon, wagyu burgers, and Caesar salad. SO GOOD!! And the drinks were amazing! I also love they give you fun icebreaker conversation cards....such a cool and fun touch! I seriously enjoyed this beautiful restaurant and will be sure to visit again! read more

The ambiance is everything upon entry. It's definitely a spot where you can take nice photos, enjoy great food and live music. There is an additional fee if you are there once the band begins. It's very cozy and the service is great! I didn't take photos of all the food but the chicken wings are AMAZING! Yes, it can get pricey but I don't mind. We pay these prices at non BOB without compliant. Even though I wasn't in their reserved VIP section I love the fact they have one! Will go back. read more

Food during brunch horrible . Chicken dried out, garlic grits and you have to ask for the lamb chops . The lamb chops are not on buffet you must request and there's two per person at your table . Customer service was supreme although I don't know why they would charge their patrons 5% for a dj.. However the aesthetics was beautiful . I've heard the menu selection is better than food on buffet I may or may not go back not sure read more

The food was good overall. The Brussel sprouts were not tasty at all. We had to send those back. I asked for spaghetti noodles opposed to the rigatoni. Needless to say my waiter Brandon forgot to add that. I ended up not eating it and took it home for my husband. My mom loved the lambchops and mash potatoes. The mac and cheese wasn't nutn to mention. I ordered a drink that Brandon referred not knowing that one watered down drink was $24.00. I would have never ordered that knowing it was that expensive. And the drinks were juiced down. The music was loud but good selection. If I go back again I doubt if it would be for dinner. The place decor is on point. I love the decorations, definitely a photo opp. Oh yeah, they have a lady that pops up and takes your picture and frame it for $20.00. read more

Chemistry is always a hit! The a nice is one of a kind. It's so elegant and glamorous when you walk in. Staff are very friendly and attentive. I love the drinks they offer. I've tried a few and they were all tasty! The food is good also. They have different themes on different night. They offer live music some nights and R&B other nights. There is no way you can sit in your seat and not dance. I'm telling you...it's a vibe. Everything about chemistry is A1! From the food, to the decor, to the staff.....it's the place to be read more

Chemistry was absolutely amazing! Aside from the logistic issues at the beginning of our reservation trying to get seated (we waited nearly an hour), the food was so great. They just need a stronger person handling the checkin and reservations. The tomahawk was soooo tender like velvet. Best one I've had in my life! The ambiance is one of a kind. My favorite vibe! I really want to give chemistry a higher rating as I love the food and the two other times I was there I had an amazing time however this time was not enjoyable. My friends and I attended the Sunday brunch which was buffet style but didn't include drink like orange juice or apple juice. I have never experienced that before. I can understand cocktails but no juice or coffee ? Also the music was way too loud and the dj wasn't catching the hint about the mic. I wasn't very fond of the mic being shoved in my face or hearing the other attendees cursing up a storm on the mic. I was also very displeased when the bill came. Firstly I think the way they train their servers to offer water is misleading especially when it comes off like a simple glass of water but it turns out to be a ten dollar bottle water. Furthermore the bill included gratuity which I'm not tripping about as someone who used to be a server. However when asked the servers stated they don't get the gratuity so I would like clarification on that because who gets the gratuity then ? Also we were charged a 10% entertainment fee. WTH is an entertainment fee ? Is this not a restaurant ? I didn't ask for a concert I just wanted brunch. I have been to many establishments that had live bands and I have never seen an entertainment feee. Im not sure what's that's all about. A lot of the reviews are saying the same things. It such a waste because the other two times I was here it was nice and I loved it. I'm not sure when they added this loud music and all these Extra fees. The food Is already expensive so I'm not sure what's the issue is. You don't need a DJ if you can't afford to pay them. I also don't like the whole giving people the mic thing like I want to come out for brunch with my friends and spend time with them. I am not in a club mood. Besides I'm not young and this isn't karaoke night. Overall the food was amazing I have to give them that. The grits and those lamb chops was EVERYTHING! I can't lie. My friends don't want to come back but I haven't lost hope on chemistry I just hope they make a few adjustments. read more

I wanted to wait until more of the buzz came down to finally take the time to check this place out. From the moment I crossed the threshold of the door til I left I was a well rounded fine dining experience. The Food: Raheem the chef, thank you, thank you, thank you! That food was so darn good Omgggggg, The food was amazing, you could taste the fresh ingredients blazing through every bite! The price point was worth every dollar. The Hostess: Was very pleasant and very concise with her explanations about table seating time, the waiting policy and even assisted to make a future reservation for an upcoming birthday. There was parking in a garage that the restaurant validated and there is also paid street parking if you're lucky to catch something The Aesthetics: Everything was very well blended and flowed. I felt welcomed and warm by all of the small details the space arranged that brought together such a lovely night from the conversation starter love cards to neon signs around the room. The Service: SUPER SHOUT OUT TO TAYLOR for making sure everything was amazing from start to finish. She recommended cocktails that we loved so much we ordered two rounds of them. She was very helpful with making wine choices and even did an excellent job on making sure our drinks came within a timely manner, even though the place was packed. She was very pleasant and had an amazing sense of professionalism that was inviting enough to keep her smiling. I can't wait to request to be seated at one of her tables next time. Thank you to the manager, Terrell, for checking on our table to make sure we received exemplary service. I strongly recommend this place, it will not disappoint. read more

I came here for our Anniversary dinner. I've heard good things about the place. We didn't have a reservation and dropped in 10/10/22 about 8pm. The host found a table near the kitchen and the bathroom. *There was a funky smell coming from somewhere * We ordered drinks, I had the Pink Tink, because The Michelle wasn't available last night. *SIDE EYE* that ALWAYS irks me that restaurants have things listed on their menus, but then when requested it's oh we don't have that today, that ultimately blows the start of the meal for me. Moving along... I ordered the filet, medium rare, & it came with garlic mashed potatoes and 2 asparagus LOL. My husband got the pasta with grilled chicken. It didnt take our food long to come out and it was all fresh. My steak was medium-well done AND THAT'S A NO NO FOR ME!!!!! Instant disappoint, it tasted ok. Mash was soup like and just ok. My husband's pasta was VERY good. I would NOT order the steak again, reading other reviews they can't get the temps right. For the prices they're charging they need to correct that ASAP!!! My drink was too sweet and I was NOT buzzed for $16 each. My frose was half drank and we couldn't get the waitress after we paid the bill to add a shot to it, so I left it there. I may go back for apps, ambiance, but definitely not for the steaks. It's unfortunate, because I wanted to try the gold wrapped steaks, but not at the prices they're charging for them to be prepared incorrectly! I liked the cards on the table to engage while you wait on your meals/drinks. Service was a 3. FYI: Automatic 20% Gratuity added. Music was nice too. read more

I love everything about this place. Every single thing I touched was good. I started at the bar waiting for friends. I don't normally drink, but I had the frozen wine drink and babyyyyy let me tell you. She's good and cute. I could've had 3-4 of those alone. The vibe is everything. There was a musician playing jazz that night. Set the whole scene. There are two little vip sections off to the side. My friends and I stepped into one room and took some pictures. The best thing about the place is the food. The Brussels sprouts are the best I've ever had. I could've ordered an ever to go. The seabass and the vegetable fried rice, OMG. EVERYTHING!! The wings and fries. BOMB. and they're reasonably priced. I don't think my friends and I spent more than $80-90 each with tip. That's expected for drink and great food. I wish I had the chance to go more before I left. But I can't wait to go back to Chicago. I'm literally ordering the exact same thing. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. read more

Ambience: very nice and I loved the details in decor and tablescape. It smelled really good inside, too. Food: my hubby and I both had lamb and it was very good. He had the miso lamb chops and I had the lamb Alfredo. The pasta had more sauce than I'd usually like, but it was still good and cooked perfectly. The salmon strips were good as well and the sauce on top was sweet but not oversweeet. Drinks: they only had 4 drinks available which was weird bc the menu had at least 10. However the Hyde Parker was strong and tasted like $16. Service: service was good and the waitress was very pleasant. Bonus: the live music was a nice touch. Although the music from the stereo was a tad loud for conversation. They have conversation cards on the table but it's kind of hard to hear each other with the volume of the music. Overall, I'd definitely go back and try something else on the menu. read more

Love Chemistry. Came for dinner with my fiancé and my parents. Food and drinks were pretty good but the best part was the music. We were seated right up front next to the live band which turned an ordinary dinner experience into a jam session. They also took some great photos of us however we weren't able to take them with us as we were headed out on the town. I really wish there was some way for guests to make arrangements to pick up the photos at a later date. Anyways... Will definitely come back. read more

Unfortunately, the only thing good thing was the food. We arrived before our reservation, but were informed upon arrival that we would have to wait 20 minutes to be seated.... We ended up waiting 50 minutes for a table. When we were finally called, another party asked to be seated (who arrived after us) and slipped the manager money. We had to wait again while they seated the group at a table (but the group then requested to sit in a booth instead). When we finally made it to our table we only sat for 40 MINUTES before we were rushed to pay and leave our table. The waitress was nice overall, but the manager (the gentleman seating everyone who accepted the money) was unprofessional. The overall experience was terrible! We were looking forward to dining at this restaurant (and the experience), but unfortunately will not be returning. SIDE NOTE: We would have been charged $20 if we were late, but it's fine for us to arrive early and wait 50 MINUTES to be seated. read more

Chemistry checked every box for a fun night in Chicago and nailed every aspect of a wonderful dining experience. The food was delicious, the drinks were great and we loved the photo opportunities, live music, and interactive card game at the table. We ordered: Blackened salmon Steak & Fries Glazed Wings Smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese Pink Tink (Cotton Candy Martini) Butter Cake We enjoyed everything we ordered. My only critique is that my salmon could use more seasoning (salt maybe). Other than that it was cooked perfectly. Side note: I was too busy indulging in the table game, food, and drinks that I did not capture many photos read more

We ubered to this location but there was street parking. It looks like it would've been hard to find parking available since it is street parking & when we got there the street looked full. When we went in it was dark. They were having a live music performance which is pretty cool. I enjoyed the performance. Our group was pretty large so we ended being split up which wasn't a big deal for us. The ambiance of the restaurant was dark, a little too dark because it made it hard to see. There was some low light around our area but it still wasn't enough. I had the chimi strip steak with fries. The steak was tender and cooked to perfection, the chimi sauce was really good. The fries were ok but not super crispy. We shared the mac n cheese. The mac n cheese was really cheesy but also really good. It was baked really well. The veggies that came with the steak was good also. The asparagus was cooked to perfection. My friend had the Tomahawk..... Please be aware that the Tomahawk is pricey and comes with an awesome cutting show. It came with sparklers and the works. We enjoyed the show. The tomahawk is really tender, juicy and melts in your mouth good. I think it's worth the price point & it isn't a small Tomahawk. They had a lot of specialty drinks that were really good. We wanted sweet drinks so the ones we picked was good for us. The drinks bubbled, melted, and was a creative experience. The service was really good. They were attentive and they gave a full presentation when the item we ordered warranted it. Also, there were some eye candy working while we were there so that added to the vibe. Overall, the food, drinks and level of service were Top Notch. read more

TikTok hyped this place! First of all, the staff needs to be trained on professionalism. I watched them take a table cloth off the table next to us that was previously ate on & flip it on the other side for another reservation to sit. Tacky! Nothing about this restaurant is fine dining steakhouse for you to require a dress code of business casual. My server spilled half my drink on the table as she was pouring for both me & my date. The DJ is too much & the music is extremely loud. I don't want to hear whim whamiee with my dinner. Tacky! The food was good but mid. The plating could have been better. I really liked the conversation cards on the table. I just think our black owned establishments need a course in class & professionalism. read more

A video on social media brought me here and so glad it did ! Having a date with my hubby is a priority to me and I wanted a wonderful venue and this was it ! Located in a wonderful Hyde Park area. It is a residential neighborhood and blends in wonderfully . Whoever designed Chemistry, get a round of applause because they nailed it it's stunning! So to the review we came on Friday which is happy hour night and so they're only open 4 hours which is from 4:00 to 8:00. I had a snafu at my house so I wasn't able to arrive until about 6:30 or so so we quickly put in our drink orders. Sat down. Waited to be seated now. This where the problems came in this place is relatively new and bustling with crowds and they're still figuring out the kinks and how to navigate and definitely need to hire more wait staff. The drinks both rounds did take a long time to be served to us. As well as the food we didn't even we get the popcorn appetizers which were complementary but I know they're in their early stage but I did deduct a star because of it. This place seems to be geared towards couples or dating folks and it's engaging conversation starters for for example, they have these little cards on either side of the table that I like. Conversation starters where you ask questions riveting statements in order to get the conversation started. Let's say if you were on a first date or meet up and you wanted to get to know the person on a deeper level then you will ask these questions to get the night started and I absolutely loved it because my husband and I even though we've been married over 20 years. These are some of the things I've never thought to ask him really get his opinion on, so I absolutely love the idea of the tabletop conversations The decor which I mentioned before this place first of all is huge. So I believe the back part would be like the dance area because on Saturday it's a club so I can imagine they would push the tables back and that would be like the dance area. And the first part of the restaurant would be the dining area in the foyer when you first walk in is so Instagram worthy there is a beautiful rose wall and a cascade of flowers coming down and another room you can go into to take more photos with the business name marquee on the wall and then of course a bar area and more dining tables and then the corners you have more booths. Unfortunately we were not able to get a booth . So the food have different names The engagement the honeymoon so fun and cute ! So our food choices were the honey chicken wings which the sauce contain a liqueur. We also had the jerk salmon instead of the mashed potatoes. I went with the macaroni and cheese which is a smoke macaroni and cheese. Also, I added the brussel sprouts which were a amazing. My husband had the Alfredo pasta topped with steak and then drinks were pink tini and vodka and lemonade The salmon was pretty good. It could stand to be larger for the cost of believe. It was about $48. My husband ate all his pasta. He didn't complain about it. The wings to get about six wings and the bill said that was $28 which is kind of outrageous but delicious. The macaroni and cheese was like a steakhouse portion of macaroni and cheese. All in all I would give the food four out of five stars. I could definitely visit again I love the decor so romantic I've never seen anything like this in Chicago and it's black owned go support read more

Well, First person to greet and seat was perfect. Only went down hill from there. After waiting ten minutes for an initial introduction, when our unnamed waitress greeted us it made it hard to understand anything she was saying cuz initially it was loud when she walked up but then I realized it also had to do with the fact that she was chomping on her gum so loud right in our face! Then when we decided to order a bottle of wine for $85 I might add she had to read the menu and figure out which one I was talking about because she didn't know it by name and there was only a selection of 10 wines on both the whites and the reds it doesn't seem like that hard to figure out and I was a server before you decide to tell me how hard that is. Then out of the one Cabernet they had listed on the menu she had to read the menu to figure out what we were talking about and it was the very first one on the red list. Then she returned to tell us they did not even have that one Cabernet in the back so she brought us another one which was a twist off bottle of wine compared to our original wine which was a little more classy but the second one ended up tasting delicious don't get me wrong. So then we had to pour our own glasses of wine the rest of the dinner after the first initial pouring by her. A kitchen manager / line cook I don't know he was really nice he brought out our food and it was delicious by the way don't get me wrong portions were a little small and we didn't see her again for another 20 minutes so that was great while listening to music while eating we had not to be rude a 7 year old little boy scene which is very cute but I'm sorry when I'm spending that kind of money I'm looking for actual talent and actual music it could have been a DJ for all I cared but not a 7 year old little boy when I'm charged $9 for entertainment. The food tasted delicious like I said the service was very very under par the host was great the man from the back who brought our food to us great other than that this place is not worth the money that they are charging for things I will never go back again hopefully that's a good review take it or leave it maybe we had a bad night or a bad server for the night thanks. read more

I was so excited because it is restaurant week here in Chicago and I've been wanting to visit Chemistry. Everything was good until the food arrived which was literally less than 5 minutes after placing our order. It came so fast, I was sure the man had the wrong table. He brought out our apps, our entree, as well as our dessert which happen to include Ice cream. Say what? yes all of the courses at one time. After a little push back, the waitress took ONLY the ice cream back. So let me tell you what I ordered. Salmon sticks, salmon and garlic mash, and fried Oreos. My friend ordered creaser salad, salmon and mash, banana foster. In addition, we ordered Brussel sprouts and cream corn. NONE OF THE FOOD WAS HOT. That's right, all of it was cooked and in a warmer waiting on the next individuals to arrive. Terrible! We sent our entree back to be warmed. Yup, they didn't recook it, they warmed it up! Then to add insult to injury they charged a 20% gratuity and our waitress asked for additional tip as the gratuity is shared. Came here as a group of 10 for my friends 30th birthday party. They were ready to seat us as soon as we got there but the birthday girl was a little late so they just told us to hang out by the bar and have some drinks. I had the blueberry drink, which is like a lemon drop but with tequila and it was amazing ; looked pretty tasted amazing ( And you can definitely taste the alcohol which was Casamigos. ) They also serve popcorn complimentary When the bday girl finally arrives, we were seated and we had a wonderful server. She comes by to ask if anyone wants drinks and then she comes to take appetizers. I ordered the 24 karat gold drink, which I didn't like. I was scared to say that I didn't like it but she was cool with it, and switched it to another blueberry drink. Around this time the life band starts to set up, and we heard some great singing and music. We had to talk a little louder because we were sitting pretty close to the stage, but it was fine. For my entrée I ordered the spicy vodka pasta with chicken and it was amazing. I keep thinking about it. Flavorful it was and hot when it came out. And they brought the food out extremely fast for us being a party of 10. Even though the birthday girl was late, they let us go past the 90 minutes I think thats what they give for dining. Chemistry - Everything was so good. This is the best steak, Brussel sprouts, and mac and cheese that I have ever had! - Steakhouses Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Went here for my birthday last night with high hopes. Walked in and the place is well decorated. The ambiance was nice and the live music (2 saxophonists) was playing r&b. We're seated and after about 2 minutes the waitress comes over with a glass of water and some dry ice to mix at our table. It was cute. She leaves and takes a while to come back. At this point we already know what we want to drink, what we want for appetizers, dinner, and dessert. She finally comes back to get our order and we just go ahead and order. I let her know I wanted The Barack to drink, the salmon sticks as an appetizer, and the sea bass for my entree. Well the waitress stops me and lets me know they don't have the sea bass. That was literally the only thing I wanted, I told her okay just the salmon for now and I'll go over the menu again. She got everyone else drink orders and told us she'd be back. I wasn't counting but it took a really long time for those drinks to make it to our table. My drink was not very appealing considering it was called "The Barack" my ice was mostly melted and the mint leaves were browning. I removed most of the mint leaves and drank it. It was pretty good. Everyone else's drinks were very aesthetically pleasing. A few moments later our appetizers come and so does the waitress to take our entree orders. I had just decided on the filet mignon with Parmesan crust because the cowboy's description showed it was a NY strip steak. I prefer ribeye but according to the menu that was only like an add on for pasta or salad. I let my waitress know wanted it cooked Medium and I also wanted a side of Mac and cheese. While she was taking the others' orders, I decided to go ahead and try my salmon strips. I bit into it thinking it would break apart like salmon does, but it was really tough. Like, it had some give. Sort of like salmon jerky. The salmon had been overcooked. Maybe it was in the fryer a bit too long. It was very dry and had no taste aside from the sauce they drizzled over it. The sauce was really good though. One of the people in my party ordered the cowboy steak. BEAUTIFUL presentation. Whole time I'm sitting there like, that looks like a ribeye. It even had a bone. I've never seen a ny strip with a bone. I could be wrong though. I asked and they confirmed it was in fact a ribeye. So I'm sitting there looking sad because at this point my filet is probably on its way. A few moments later my food comes and it looks good. I cut into my steak and there was a wave of disappointment. It was well done, but medium well on the inside. It was pretty salty with the Parmesan crust, probably because the steak was seasoned as well. The seasoning was really good without the Parmesan. The filet came with mashed potatoes, which is not in the description on the menu. I noticed they hadn't brought my Mac and cheese. The waitress was no where to be found for quite sometime. She hadn't even come over to check on us after the food arrived. After we finally flagged her down, I let her know my Mac and cheese was missing. I didn't want to send my food back because I've already sent the appetizer back. I didn't even eat the food. I nibbled on the mashed potatoes which was the best thing on my plate. I'm completely disappointed at this point. I read here on yelp that they treat you like royalty for your birthday. That was not my experience AT ALL. My Mac and cheese came while I was in the restroom, it was pretty but really salty as well. At this point I needed another drink. Couldn't find my waitress. It was not packed in there if you're wondering. It was Wednesday night. Well I finally found her and was able to order a blueberry yum yum. It was really good! It was also very pretty, especially compared to my first drink. By this time the live music switched to a dj. The dj was great! I didn't take a picture of any of my food and drinks because I was not having a very good night considering it was my birthday. We ordered the butter cake for dessert. It was delicious! Sinful, if you will. They brought it out to me with sparklers nd a little birthday entourage. I tried to be in the mood for it, but I didn't enjoy any of my food and my overall experience wasn't what I expected. Once we got the receipt, we noticed the waitress ordered my steak to be medium well. Which is why it wasn't to my liking. I boxed most of my food up and we left. Overall the place is nice. I'd like to give them another try one day, but as of now best thing to go for is vibes and dessert. Happy Birthday to me. read more

Was there on a Monday for my birthday with a group of 6. The food was good, no complaints there, but the service...... Our server was very negligent. She never came to check on us. We had to chase her down to place orders for everything. In the meantime we needed things like small plates, another round of drinks, etc and because our server was so negligent we started just flagging down anyone we could find. Even after joking with her that she was forgetting about us, she never got the hint to improve. At one point it was just ridiculous as we saw several other groups and couples that were seated after us, leave before us! We even had to chase her down for the bill because we were ready to leave and the parking for several ppl was about to expire. It was very irritating, but we had fun nonetheless. read more

Upon everything into this Tiktok recommended venue, you're immediately enthralled by the decor: Neon- lit phrases on the wall, entryway covered in flowers, and velour booths. The tables are nicely decorated, and there's a QR code to scan for the menu. They've even added a nice touch: Love cards with questions to ask of your romantic partner. I'm here for brunch with a couple of my friends. We all order similar items, which are different flavors of chicken and waffles. My friends order coffee and, after an hour long wait on our food, have now had several refills (We were never informed that coffee refills were not free, nor is it on the menu). When the food finally arrived, my meal was cold and my other friend's food was not ready. I informed a server, and within 5 minutes, they returned with fresh food, but still without my friends' food. The other person in my party took a spoonful of the cajun grits and was immediately turned off by the oil used as a cajun sauce and the overall consistency of the grits. The Peach Cobbler chicken and waffles ordered made her push her plate away because she said that the peaches were not fresh and the waffle tasted like it had been frozen and then deep fried The other person in my party had The Nashville Hot Chicken and waffles. She enjoyed the waffle and chicken, but the macaroni and cheese that it came with was dry and overcooked. I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken and waffles with a side of eggs with Gouda cheese. The chicken and waffles were well seasoned and had the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. I, too, felt like the waffle tasted frozen and recooked sorta like a churro. The eggs were tasty but had pieces of egg shells in them. This was a turnoff, but after waiting, so long to eat ( I'm 8 and a half months pregnant), I just picked through them. I informed the Waitress about the eggs, and she kind of brushed it off without any compensation or remaking. When we got the bill, we were surprised by the additional charges for the coffee refills and for the entertainment fee as there was no live entertainment, only music being played over the loud speaker. Although they took off my friend's uneaten meal, there was no compensation for my cold food or the egg shells. Furthermore, the Waitress definently did not work for her gratuity- included tip as we were constantly asking other servers for items. The restaurant was not busy and fully staffed. The icing on the cake was that I got extremely sick that night. I was the only person in my party to have eaten the eggs. I definitely expected more from this social media glorified restaurant. As much as I want to support black businesses, this won't be a place that I'll spend my money at again. It's nowhere near what I anticipated. read more

Food and ambiance is decent. AS long as the DJ controls the music and keeps it grown, this place will be alright. The young crowd is here and ready to turn up, but they aren't allowed to let lose, again, the DJ is in control. Right now, it's a decent spot as long as the young adults don't get wild and loose. read more

The food and service here were really good. We got the salmon strip and garlic bread for appetizers and steak alfredo pasta for dinner. The drinks were really good, too, and our server, Rich, was amazing. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for great food and a great vibe. read more
