They didn't tell me it was expired while I was there, let me use half of it, then crossed out the expiration date and made it a date in expire 10/30/25. I was unaware they back-dated it because I was in a hurry to put it in my pocket since I was in rush. Fast forward to today, I went to use it and obviously it wasn't honored because of that new date. I understand that it expired and of course I'm fine not using it since it's completely my fault. It was just the most bizarre experience because 1. No one mentioned it was expired the first time I was there (which I would have been fine paying for my pedicure if someone explained that to me instead writing in a new date so couldn't use it again) Also I'm just not sure why they would give me back a gift certificate that I can't use anymore or never mention that it was expired. 2. What kind of place has a 1 week or 1 month expiration date? (Thinking about it I'm wondering if it the date a typo since it was handwritten because most places around here have a 1 year expiration date when I buy them or am gifted them.) Also my nails were different lengths and the polish I used developed white spots on top (it was a light purple) With so many wonderful places in Montclair, I would definitely consider buying a gift certificate somewhere else with a longer expiration date, a more clear policy, or somewhere that will take the time to explain these dates and policies if you have an issue like I did if you are looking to purchase a gift.

I was able to make an appointment over the phone but did see making one on their website was super easy if not going for a special package. Service: I got a gel mani, regular pedi, and had gel nail polish on my fingers to remove. My appointment was 5:15, I was taken at about 5:20, and I got out of there about 6:55. Experience: I got there at 5:14 and just had a 5 minute wait until they were ready for me. In the meantime, I chose my color (Sweet Apricot). My nail tech was Kristi and she couldn't have been nicer. She took her time with the pedicure and manicure and was pleasant throughout it. As a side note, they had the Real Housewives of Rhode Island playing with the sound on which served as the perfect entertainment for the experience. Time will tell if these polishes last and if they do, they've got a new customer!

The salon has WiFi, is very clean, and they have the widest assortment of colors I've seen. As a note, you can pay and tip via Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, or cash without an extra fee. I believe they recently started to use a new system to schedule appointments. I called for my appointment and got a text confirmation as several of their options were only in Spanish so I wanted to make sure they were clear on what I was coming in for. I got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure and I think they did a great job on both. The pedicure involved an optional cut and file, a leg scrub, cream, cuticle care with general nail cleaning, foot scrub, oil, astringent spray, hot towel, hot stones, and painting. The pedicure chair gave a nice massage and was clearly well maintained. They soaked off my old nail gel and cleaned up my nails for me as well as applied a scrub and lotion along with painting my fingernails. Obviously I can't speak to how long this current polish will last but in the past it's lasted for 3 to 4 weeks.
