What this place is not. It is not a white tablecloth fine dining establishment. It is not a gay…read morebar, nothing wrong with gay bars, it is not a high-end steak house. What it is, and what I am rating it on. It is a dive bar, it has sticky tables, (not really) it has pool tables and tacky decor, it has really friendly service and it is awesome for what it is. The crowd can be a little rough and it is a Bar, must be 21 years or older. It has typical bar food, hamburgers and anything you can put in a fryer. But on Thursdays and Saturday Nights, after 6:00PM it is steak night. I usually don't like local grills for steaks, they're usually terrible. But not here, one of the best steaks I've had outside a high dollar steak house. After 6PM it is time for steaks, they close down the other menu items and you have a choice of steak (Ribeye) or steak (Ribeye). You can choose your temperature, I chose MR, and it was probably Med, but that's okay. Comes with a baked potato, a roll and grilled onions and mushrooms. But what stands out was the flavor, so good, place got a little smokey as they grilled. I really like mushrooms and grilled onions, but the steak didn't need em. I took mine off and enjoyed the steak as it was. I did finish the mushrooms and onions as a side. Highly recommend steak night. The salad was plain with cheese and croutons, nothing special. The Potato was cooked perfectly with a cooked crunchy skin, soft potato goodness in the middle. Came with butter and sour cream, I would have liked some cheese, bacon and chives, but it was still good. Lots of food, didn't try dessert. My wife enjoyed her steak too but would have liked some other options, it was a lot of food for her. But lunch for me the next day. Our waitress Zoe was new but very good, very attentive, and very friendly. Well done Zoe. Keep it up Rainbow Saloon.

Now for the Rainbow Saloon, I believe that it is the type of Saloon where everyone who enters the door will be able to feel like they just arrived @ home!! The staff follows all of the states required laws, but that doesn't mean that you won't have a fun experience! Some folks might call it a dive bar, it's what I would refer to as a rustic establishment!! There is a unique atmosphere in the Join, people meeting people, the food is amazing and the menu has a great variety to choose from. M favourite is the classic cheese chub With the fan.67

This was the last place we went to end our evening and it was by far the best. It wasn't very busy…read morefor a Saturday, but we also got there pretty late, about 11pm or so. Very talented group of musicians, extremely entertaining! We were singing along and laughing and truly enjoying our evening. Best tasting drinks here as well. The key lime pie one was delicious and so was the watermelon one. I also had an Irish cream shot.

One of the owners got in my face over a misunderstanding and threatened me. When the other person…read morecleared it up for her, she never apologized. I've never been treated so badly by a business that I was trying to support. I don't feel comfortable going back or recommending this bar to my friends. To be clear, the bartenders, security staff, and DJ were all lovely people, but this owner was unnecessarily abrasive and I won't be back. (I didn't intend to post publicly, I tried to send a private email via the contact email on their website, however, the email bounced back undeliverable.) I've been to karaoke bars around the world, I've always tipped the DJ upon leaving as a thank you. At Tavernacle, if you want to sing without waiting several hours, you have to tip upfront as a bribe - that rubs me the wrong way. I haven't experienced that at other karaoke bars - tipping the DJ wasn't conditional to your spot in the queue. The DJ that night was a nice person with fun energy, but I don't agree with the idea that the level of service provided is determined by how much you tip upfront. Like I said, most of the staff were genuinely kind humans. The sound system and production value were great. But I can't recommend this venue based on my experiences above.

TL;DR: we loved it and will be back. The brunch was tasty and varied. Food quality was good and there was no problem with any of the items. From rib tips to salads to fruit, there is something for everyone. The cooks were friendly and eager to tout an all-new menu put together by JEFFIE. Unlimited servings with all of these offerings was the perfect way to sit out a hot Sunday, though if you prefer sun, the patio has umbrellas and outdoor seating. Decor is eclectic and interesting. Hopefully you get ALLI was your server -- her tales of living in New Orleans accents her personable and timely service. She was incredible and even tells jokes (I'm a sucker for a sense of humor). If you're wanting a drink from the bar, you're in luck -- these guys aren't afraid to make whatever you think you know, as well as stuff you didn't. One of the best selections of alcoholic drinks on a bar that I've seen locally. Ask MONEY what he likes and be m prepared for items such as a PB&J shot or "The Good Boy" (see photo), -- a Bloody Mary with Tajin, fried pickle and bacon. Start him off with a smile by saying "Go Raiders!". He was funny and interesting and a talented mixologist. A trio of musicians (Twisted Brother) was playing and provided fantastic music to groove to. I think a lot of people end up at the Green Pig next door because it's closest to the road but you'd kick yourself later for not going here, especially for brunch on Sundays. I'll be back regularly and hopefully you will too!
