This place was really good. It's nice to have different options in Albuquerque, that don't involve green or red Chile. Two pieces of naan complemented the dips. Crisper than the Indian version. Then the kabobs and saffron rice arrived. One each of koobideh(ground beef), chicken, shish and veggie kabob. The owner brought sumac over to sprinkle on the red meats. Delish. The kabobs came with saffron rice. The restaurant offers a variety of shaken iced teas. Fruity, herbal, unique and refreshing. Treat yourself to the starfruit, passion fruit and watermelon. For dessert we had a crispy dessert covered in rosewater and honey. It's cafeteria style, but the food is brought to the table. I have been meaning to try this place for a while now. We came on a night the restaurant was doing a fundraiser, which is awesome! I love seeing establishments team up for a good cause. However, the staff was very overwhelmed and it took forever to get our food. The bread was bland and dry. The side came out 15 minutes before the entree. The rice wasn't cooked and the items are pricey considering how much is on the plate. The staff was kind and trying their best to keep up but it just wasn't worth it for us. read more

The flavors of what we ordered was ok. I thought the roasted veggies had too much "burn layer" on the skins but the important parts were done well. I just didn't like peeling off the skins. Amazing food! We had take out due to COVID19 shutdown. We will definitely be returning for more food. Started with hummus and falafel- both very good! Ordered a gyros sandwich and a chicken gyros sandwich- both were delicious! Tried a shaken tea and the nut roll and baklava. My favorite thing was the feta fries which had a mountain of feta! So good! Ordered a Mediterranean salad, but going to have to save it for dinner, because we are stuffed. Restaurant is very clean and take out was packaged individually with sauce on the side. I order the chicken and and beef which came with a good size side of yellow and white rice. Grilled vegetables accompanied by yogurt green chile and eggplant dipping sauces and one naan bread. I try new food when I can. This food was very good the spices agreed with my palette the dipping sauce fit perfectly with the chicken and beef the eggplant dipping sauce was flavorful eating the grilled vegetables were soft but not to soft and using the naan bread like a utensil is my style for sure. The food was less than average and the service was slow. We ordered 2 gyros with a side of the feta fries and falafel totaling $35. The gyros took 20 minutes to come out and it was an additional 10 minutes for our sides to come out. The place was pretty empty, so I'm not sure what took so long. I'm not a huge fan of Mediterranean food but this place is pretty impressive. I had the two kabob combo with chicken and beef and it was really good! They allow you to sample the different dishes as well. I would compare the chicken to the feeling of finding a close parking space that doesn't have a smart car parked in there. It was amazing. They up charge everything when you order halal. The food was bland and the naan was like a dry cracker. What a complete waste of my money. I'll never give them another dime. That meal should have been $40-$50 at the most. There are way better halal options in Albuquerque. I would not recommend any Muslims looking to eat halal to go to this place. Recently had lunch as I work nearby and support local restaurants. Love the new space. I too was a little confused with the menu as I just wanted a gyro. When I finally understood the young man that gyros are open face. Okay I was game. I noticed they simply grabbed an already cooked chicken kabob. Given that it took awhile to get my order but I was pleased enough. The naan was a bit crispy but one of the very friendly females offered ways to eat it. As I walked into this restaurant for the first time, I received a friendly welcome and a smile from Stacy. Maggie was very helpful with showing me the vegan options and allowing me to sample things. I ended up buying more than I came in for. I am a falafel connoisseur and lover so I ordered an open face falafel sandwich on naan. The falafel was crispy on outside and moist on the inside. I now prefer naan over a standard wrap...very good! I also got some Ghormeh Sabzi and this was very flavorful. The hummus was also bursting with flavor! I could taste the herbs. This might be the best hummus ever besides my own at home. Two thumbs up! Thanks guys! Don't waste your money. There are better options for Mediterranean in ABQ- perhaps San Pedro Middle East Restaurant. This establishment needs a lot of work on flavor, customer service and kitchen organization. I won't be coming here again. I give this place 6-12 months before it goes out of business. Decor and atmosphere is nice. Price point is average but again food lacks flavor. Specialty tea bar is an interesting concept. Didn't order a tea but from by observation the tea curator was overwhelmed with the tasks of creating 5 different types of teas that are offered. chelo kabob was good, but I had to emphasize to make it, not dry and to serve it hot. few days earlier, it was dry and cold. The other dishes look pretty authentic, per my experience. I strongly recommend for anyone who wants delicious authentic Persian food to visit this restaurant as well as others in similarity. the raw wooden decoration can be improved, so as, the playing Iranian folk music, which may not be the best option for listening during the lunch or dinner, (..and I am a persian and can't stand that music!). why not some selections in classical music. read more

Fantastic food decor, and service. Kabobs, especially lamb, are off the hook, perhaps best in abq. If i may provide some constructive feedback: -combo is a lot of food for one person. Perhaps for two people combo will work. If someone wants just the kabobs and rice, an option will be helpful. -i have had better persian kabobs, especially chicken--it could be made a tad bit less dry, and -i understand the slight "burnt" and bbq feel to the kabobs and the grilled veggies (many people and I like the taste), however, the burnt bits (carbon) are unhealthy (leading to degenerate health conditions), especially when there is more scientific data that is being made available openly. Solution is: take a few more minutes to cook the kabob and eliminate burnt regions, rather than trying to grill it quickly. I will much appreciate unburnt food. Overall: Big fan!
