We picked up Macarons while visiting Dallas Farmers Market on a Saturday. 6 macarons was $11 dollars with multiple flavors to choose from. They were delicious, my favorite was lemon. We got Italian cream, strawberry cheesecake, lemon berry, lemon, wild berry, and birthday cake. When we tasted them, you can tell few we're "older" as they weren't as light and had more chew to them. But overall, declines macarons.

Scrumptious red velvet and lemon macaroons! I have not better macaroons. These are light and crispy on the outer layer but soft in the center. Yum! Good

Delicious and flavorful! I got a variety of macarons for a good price. Flavors were there and they were killer! I saw the fruity preview flavor and got so excited! Will definitely be back for more!

Wow, ordered these during Covid quarantine and they did not disappoint. Kudos to Chelles for super fresh delectable Macarons and speedy shipping. Quite the treat!

I had never had a macaron. A savory leaning person, I rarely order desserts when dining out (don't groan!) as I am always full. If I go somewhere specifically for dessert or for coffee and a pastry, well now, that's different. A cookie like this one, though, has been catching my eye for a long time and I had heard good things about Chelles Macarons. My husband asked me what a macaron was and what I did know was that it's an almond meringue cookie filled with different flavor fillings. The fillings are made of buttercreams, ganaches, or jams according to Chelles' website. Worth mentioning is that Chelles also educates people further in case they thought it might be a macaroon they were selling. "A macaroon (note the extra "o") is a crunchy American cookie made with coconut." They make their macarons from scratch in their Plano location and transport them to the shop in the Dallas Farmer's Market. I bought mine with a Groupon for an introductory bargain price. Usually the tiny colorful cookies are 6 for $11 or 12 for $21. The only problem you will have at their counter is making up your mind. Since I had no idea what I was getting into, I chose from the heart asking my husband to do the same. You could probably not go wrong. Our mango, lemon, red velvet, Italian cream (2) and passion fruit cookies were crispy crunchy with fresh beautiful creamy interiors and were true to the flavor names without tasting artificial. Your cookie purchases will last a week in the fridge and a month in the freezer if you buy in greater quantities. They are slightly less expensive if you do. Chelles ships and even delivers. I love that they're at the Farmer's Market. It's a light option for something sweet other than gelato and ice cream; especially as the temperatures grow cooler. Chelles Macarons are a wonderful and unique cookie experience, as well. Try them!

Wow! AMAZING! I finally had a minute to sit down after a long, rainy day playing tourist. I got the red velvet and strawberry cheesecake. The strawberry cheesecake was AMZING!!!! Like, I want to go get more before we get on the road tomorrow. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They also helped answer any questions we had. The packaging is so cute and eye catching. The pricing was also reasonable. They had a few packing options. The store area was clean. We will definitely be back. Keep up the good work

They are really good but costly. Mini pack was $11 and came with 6 or you can get them for $2 each. Pricey. Other options aside from mini pack are available. We decided to get an extra one so that each of our fam bam of 5 could have one each and then we could all try the last one. We tried strawberry cheesecake, lemon, fruity pebbles and Italian cream. All great choices.

Oh those Chelles. Irresistibly delicious. 20 pack, 10 Italian Cream, 2 Raspberry, 2 Fruity Pebbles, 2 Vanilla bean, and 2 Pistachio. I will have to say, these are perfection. Crunchy outside, chewy center, packed with flavor. I will be back.

This review is long overdue! I've been going to chelles since before she opened this location. I had to drive all the way to plano to get it. Super happy she opened a shop closer to Dallas where I frequent. My goto flavor is Earl grey, fruity pebbles, mango, passion fruit, peanut butter and jelly, chocolate, vanilla. Flavors are seasonal of course. These Macs are the most flavorful!

From classic flavors like chocolate to unique flavors like fruity pebbles, Chelles Macarons features an excellent selection of delicious macarons that taste decadent yet airy and light! You can't go wrong with any macaron you choose. Go to the Dallas Farmer's Market and give them a try!

Fruity Pebbles, Lucky Charms, gray Earl, strawberry cheese cake... all the flavors you can fine here. The macaroons are like $2 each. I got the 12 pack which was $21. The macaroons are alot better, then the one from NYC from French. They crunchy and soft. The staff is friendly and nice. Worth the drive to come grab these

It's dark, moody, and effortlessly romantic, with a live pianist playing throughout the evening. It's the kind of place that feels intimate without being stuffy, perfect for a date night. The service was honestly some of the best I've had in Dallas. My water never dropped below two sips from full, the team was that attentive. It became amusing (in the best way) how on top of everything they were. Our waiter, Rene, was outstanding. He provided stellar recommendations from starters to entrées, drinks, and desserts. I trusted him enough to let him choose my glass of wine to follow my cocktail, and he nailed it. He also walked us through the menu in detail, which was incredibly helpful as first-time guests. The food absolutely delivered: * Shrimp St. Martins - Five jumbo de-veined shrimp in a rich, butter-like sauce that was decadent without being overwhelming. * Frisée Aux Lardon Salad - Rene thoughtfully split this tableside and served it onto individual plates. The dressing leans heavily Dijon-forward, so order accordingly if you're not a mustard fan. That said, the bacon was some of the best I've ever had: thick, slightly sweet, and perfectly cooked. * Sea Bass Ratatouille - Served over a tomato sauce, it was flavorful, well-balanced, and not too heavy. * Rack of Lamb - An extremely generous portion (which I happily helped my date finish). It was boldly seasoned and on the saltier side, which I personally loved, though I understand that may not be for everyone. * Affogato - A simple but perfect way to close out the meal. Between the romantic atmosphere, top-tier service, and excellent food, this is easily one of the better dining experiences I've had in Dallas.

Apparently it's a Dallas staple restaurant, having been around for more than 44 years, but it is now in a new location as of 2024. Starting from the moment you walk in you are enveloped in a very moody romantic French bistro. Just inside the front door you are greeted by the hostess. There's also a live piano player who plays live music at just the right volume. Tables are covered in white tablecloths with glowing candles. The booths are especially cozy! If you are looking for a romantic dinner spot this is your spot! The service here is on par and the food delicious! This particular night we started with the caviar service, then moved on to the mixed green salad. After that, honestly I was full so I just had Lobster Bisque for dinner while my husband had the lamb. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals, but were too full to move onto dessert, maybe next time!

Our group of 6 got there at 5:30, 15 mins early for our reservation, prior to the large crowd about to come in for the concert that night. It took 30 minutes to put 5 martinis on the table. Our food did not come out until 7:30 - almost 2 hours after sitting down. Tables around us were served before we were and finished and left before our food came out. Not once did a manager or our server George come check on us or tell us there was an issue. Every meal that we received was cold, but we had no other choice but to eat it due to how long it took and making it to the concert by 8PM. This was the night of the Andrea Borcelli concert and the restaurant was full. Management should have prepared for a busy night. My party was so excited to eat in the Polar Bear room and head to the concert. How does a Michelin star restaurant let this happen and then force us to pay 20% gratuity? I was a server for 10 years and I would never let this type of experience happen to a party paying $100 a person in food and drinks. This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. Management - you need to really work on your guest service and experience. Such a disappointment.

On a recent visit, I had the crab Benedict, zucchini chips, and chocolate mousse. Everything was good but the mousse was AMAZING. Definitely recommend getting this! My Benedict was ok, but had quite a few bits of shell and was a little lukewarm. I would have sent it back but I was so hungry! The zucchini chips could have used a little hit of salt and they would have been perfect. Seating is a little cramped during peak hours but you can get in some great people watching from the patio. Service was standard and our waiter was friendly. I feel like it's just one of those Dallas brunch standards that you must hit up at some point. Very cutesy for an afternoon with your girls!

Oh man... what a let down this visit was for us…read more My wife and I have come here at least once a year for the past 3 years, and we've always loved this place. The food has always been great and the experience was something we looked forward to. That's why we chose to celebrate an early Valentine's Day here -- to avoid the crazy rush and the preset menu. But this time? Completely different experience. We got seated right away because of our reservation, which was great. It took a few minutes for the waiter to come by -- no big deal. I ordered an Old Fashioned and honestly... the bartender needs some help. It came out full of crushed ice and tasted watered down. I sent it back, and the second one was basically the same drink with more whiskey thrown in. At that point, I just let it go. Then things just kept going downhill. After about 20 minutes, we realized we hadn't gotten any bread. We asked the waiter and he said he'd check. Another 10 minutes go by and he comes back saying, "Still no bread," and drops off the wrong appetizer -- we had only ordered a salad. He takes it back, and it's another 15 minutes before our actual salad shows up. Still no bread. At one point, we could literally see him arguing with someone in the back about why we didn't get bread yet. Not exactly something you want to watch during a date night. The food, when it finally came out, was delicious. No complaints there. But it took forever. By the time we were eating, it was about 45 minutes until closing... and we had gotten there two hours earlier. Then comes the payment situation. The waiter brings the check back and casually tells me I gave him two credit cards and he "just picked the brighter one." I look down and he had handed me someone else's credit card while mine was still sitting in the book. That's not a small mistake. Overall, it just felt unorganized and sloppy this time. I don't know if they're short staffed or just getting too busy for their own good, but it was disappointing, especially for a place we've genuinely enjoyed in the past. Hoping it was just an off night... but it definitely made us think twice about coming back.
