Their chicken tacos were the best (they make it in a special chipotle sauce). The carne asada was dry and the fish taco was too fishy. Their salsas are really good. The mild is tasty and green, the red has good flavor and not too spicy, and the orange is the spiciest but also has good flavor. Employees are friendly and there are lots of seating options inside and outside. Their decor is very bright and pretty!

Nice, small restaurant. Service is very quick. You order at the counter and then go sit down and wait for your order. The queso and guacamole were both good. The tacos were excellent, the tilapia and barbacoa especially. They also offer three different sauces of varying spice levels, which were a nice complement to the tacos.

Reliable option for tasty, authentic tacos! Highly recommend ordering tacos a la carte and trying a few. They are well sized, not too small but not overly large. 2-4 tacos is probably a good amount on average, depending on how hungry you are. (I would minimally do 3 because I love food, 4 will really fill me up. My SIL who manages to actually savor eating slowly and stop when she's full - something I've yet to master - can handle 2 :)). Love the elote on the side as well. Recommend getting the larger size here! The small is maybe 2.5inches ish of a smaller corn cob so I'm assuming large is the full size. I haven't tried all the tacos yet so not sure on my favorites, but last night I got Carnitas, Campechana (which is generally a favorite of mine, Chela's version is very tasty), Al Pastor, and Barbacoa and all were delicious. Served up with well seasoned/marinated meats, on corn tortilla, with onion, cilantro, and lime. Salsas are great too and worth adding on - I tried the red hot one and the green salsa. Took a bite of my husband's Nacho Grande as well and that was good too! I still think tacos are really where it's at but good option for nachos if you're having a craving for that. Small lot on the corner of some pretty busy streets (Stadium and Maple) which could potentially make getting in and out for pickup a little trickier, but I didn't have any issues.

*I never write reviews but I feel like this is necessary* This place used to be really really good. We're talking best tacos in town but over the last few months the quality and portion sized have majorly gone downhill. Chicken is dry, my tacos don't have enough meet to fill either side when I take a bit of the ends, and the chips (this has always been the case for me) are still always stale. But without the good food to make up for it it really isn't worth it a

Authentic, fast, friendly staff! This is my go to spot for campechanas and birria. Best Mexican food in all of Ann Arbor.

I expected to have some authentic Mexican food. This place definitely has the tradition but does not have the flavor. Bland

Amazing locally owned place. The only thing I didn't love was the dessert tamales, but the kids did.

Now the setup is that you walk up to the counter to order then they direct you to a table (inside or out, your preference) and bring you what you've ordered. You can also order to go. The food was super quick and delicious. We ordered the huevos rancheros with chorizo and ham & egg breakfast sandwich. Both were exceptionally well seasoned with lots of flavor. Eggs were perfectly runny for the rancheros and folded egg omelet was not dry on the sandwich. Crispy tortillas on the rancheros and house made chorizo was flavorful and not greasy. I'd say that this dish was not very spicy at all, I had to add cholula hot sauce which was conveniently on the table already. They have a bathroom in the basement, which you have to get through the kitchen. So, not accessible for all but it does have a diaper changing station available for the littles. Lots of seating choices: communal table, small tables, and window counter height seating plus outside tables in the back. Overall, will be back again with the kids since there were lots of families with smaller kids here so very family friendly.

I'm traveling, and found this small neighborhood cafe near where I was staying. Seemed like a great place to grab some breakfast and get some work done. But the guy who was serving me treated *me* like the idiot for not reading the sign at the door... Who on earth comes to a cafe and thinks, "Hm, I wonder if computers are allowed?" Bad service, bad vibes. If you're going to disallow computers and someone walks in alone with a backpack, perhaps the onus should be on YOU to make sure they're aware of your absurd rule before you take their order. (I went to Juicy's and had a great breakfast AND got my work done. Try them instead.)

From the gardens to the land with a creek flowing though it -- to the beautiful building and pleasing decor inside and a porch with tables around much of it. So impressed. The menu, our server explained, is changed out quarterly and this is the new summer one. So many unique small and large plates (but when he described them, they were way more intricate and enticing than the menu even showed). He was attentive and helped guide our choices. We ordered the eggplant small plate to share, then the mushroom pizza (so much tastier than the description would indicate), and the wild boar brat with cherry and peach accents. Everything was delicious. I also got an iced latte with the house made mocha and it was better than alcohol, if you're a coffee lover anyway. 100% plan to come back! And likely soon. This is up there with how I feel about Sylvan Table, which is a huge compliment to Dixboro Project!

This Sunday, my mom invited myself and my siblings to join her for brunch. The ambience was amazing - with lovely natural lighting and gorgeous table settings. The menu makes every dish seem mouthwatering and delicious. When the plates came out, they were gorgeous and the food looked so inviting. Unfortunately, the taste was completely lacking. If you're going to charge the prices they're charging, the flavor should be amazing in every single bite. We sampled four different dishes, and none blew me away. Some, were even borderline "bad." Here's a rundown: mushroom pizza - the description makes it seem like it will be cheesy and full of flavor, but it was very one note duck confit pizza - had three pieces of duck on it and was otherwise covered in hot peppers lemon blueberry pancake - more of a skillet cake - sauce was the best part, otherwise dry on the bottom Raclette burger - $30 which is almost comparable in price to a burger I had at The Four Seasons in Maui. That burger, was worth every penny. This one had absolutely no flavor. The meat tasted like mush - definitely lacked seasoning, and there was not a speck of cheese to be found. If you're going to call a burger a raclette, it should be oozing with cheese. grilled Romaine salad - leaves were bitter and the dressing again, looked delicious, but had no flavor. The flavors did not compliment each other at all - with the pickled grapes, taking away from the dish and contrasting very starkly against the rotten tasting lettuce Brown sugar oat milk latte - really the only thing that delivered both on looks and on flavor. Sadly, not high on my list of places to return. It kind of made me think of Vegas: lots of pomp and glam which momentarily distracts you into thinking you're having the best time of your life. But in retrospect, not very fulfilling.
