Visited on Friday night after seeing a random post on IG. I ordered Mac n cheese bites and a chicken Philly. Both came with fries. The Mac n cheese bites were crispy, but didn't wow me with flavor. I was expecting the cheese base to have more seasoning and sharp cheddar cheese. The base was a cheese sauce that I could get at TGIF. I did, however, appreciate the fact that with the amount of food they give you, you pretty much get a whole meal for $5. The chicken Philly was really good! We ordered here for the first time tonight. We used door dash but instead of ordering from the one closest to us, it directed our order to this location. We assumed our fries wouldn't travel well, and everything would probably be cold and soggy. Not the case at all. Everything was absolutely delicious! We had wings, garlic parm and hot, Philly fries, the seven city plater and kids meal. The wings were great, extra crispy and lots of sauce. The hot was not your typical hot wing sauce, it has a tang to it that makes its unique. The crab cakes were huge and full of crab, fish was amazing and the shrimp was fried perfectly. HUGE portions and the crabcake about took me out. 100 crab no filler and season to perfection. I was on my way to a relatives house when my husband and I saw this place nearby. This is the first time ordering from here and would say I'd return. We ordered the fish tacos. The fish tasted fresh and wasn't over cooked. I'd compare the fries to rally's fries with a hint of Cajun seasoning. A nice touch to the meal was the flower added as decor. I wished I took a picture! I came in to order and took less than 10 minutes to retrieve pickup. Staff was super friendly. If you are craving a quick bite of southern fried seafood, this is a good place to try. read more

First, always order the banana pudding with your order, not too sweet and very flavorful. Yea flavorful for banana pudding, I promise you will be blown away from that alone. Now onto the fish, well I order the 1 fish and 1 crab. Real crab meat through and through but I should have eaten that first because the fish was too good that the crab cake was just ok. The good news is that it is full of crab meat fresh, not that fuller mess most places use. This place is 100% the place to go for some fresh, good eating seafood. First time checking it out with my daughter and mom. We were throughly impressed and definitely plan to become regular customers. My daughter picked out the shrimp tacos which were the best looking shrimp tacos I've seen in a while. I order the fish, shrimp and crab cake plate...which was everything! My mom really enjoyed her shrimp and crab cake. The crab cakes were bomb...best I've had in a long time. This is a new spot. Just a few weeks old! I really enjoyed the hot wings and fries. I had Calz hot wings the day before and they were a big no, so I welcomed the taste of real hot wings. Although, I felt my blood pressure rising, I like the fries as well. I couldn't figure out the seasoning, as I was too busy eating, but they use something other than just salt. My husband enjoyed the fish. I tasted his and was pleased with the flavor (seasoned really well), but I don't do swai, which is farmed raised fish. I try to stick with wild caught fish, if at all possible. I'm bummed that they only offer swai, as I'm a huge fish eater! The crab cake...I didn't care for as much. It tasted too fishy and the seasoning was lacking. I'm thinking whatever they use to season the fish would really work on the crab cake. I love the flower touch they add to each meal. Don't ask me what kind of flower it is...I just know it works. The owner is a cool laid back guy and is very friendly. With some minor tweaks, I see big things in this restaurant's future! Chef Skip has some good things and not so good things going for them. I think with a few tweaks this place could be a good to spot for some high quality food at good prizes. The customer service from the young lady taking orders was fantastic, she was pleasant and remained friendly when one of our orders was wrong. My friend had ordered the shrimp tacos but was given fish by mistake, she quickly addressed the issue and remained professional throughout. The service from the owner wasn't as good, I'm not saying he was unpleasant but he literally didn't say anything at all. Perhaps we caught him on a bad day but during the entire time my group waited for our food, he simply sat at the front counter appearing to be on tablet, he did not greet us when we entered nor did he wish us a good day when we left, he pretty much ignored our presence. Food was hit and miss, anything dealing with fish or seafood was delicious. As I was with a big group I was able to sample a few different items. The shrimp and fish tacos were great, the fish and shrimp breaded well and cooked to perfection. The accompanying sauce was tasty and added a nice finishing touch. The chicken wings were tiny and overall not too tasty. None of my party enjoyed their order of wings as the size and overall lack of flavor just wasn't there. Same with my cheesesteak, it just didn't taste well seasoned. As good as the food may be, (and it is pretty good) and no matter how prompt the service, (and it is fast) this is a GRAB IT AND GO food service. The only chairs in the place are aligned along the wall in front of the counter so you can sit and wait for your order. Perfect place for picking up "to go"s for office or home. Great for what it is! Had a taste of the fried fish/ crab cake/ shrimp from a coworker and was legit blown away. The crab cake had NOO crab shells and very little filler. The shrimp and fish were seriously mind blowing good, so was the sauce. Idk what he puts in the batter but it's perfect- not basic boring beer battered nonsense. I really wanted to like this establishment, but the food was not great. It was saturated with oil and the taste was just off. For the price and reviews, we expected more. And all but one order was incorrect. For example, we requested that one of the platters be grilled.. it was all fried. We purchased 4 different meals for 4 people and none of us enjoyed our meal. While it was edible, it was not enjoyable. I ordered the platter that comes with fish, shrimp and a crab cake. It tasted as if it was friend in old oil maybe? The coleslaw was absolutely unpalatable. Chef Skip's cooking is really good! I ordered the crab cake sandwich and fries. The crab cake was pure crab meat with no fillers and fried perfectly. The special Skip sauce complimented the flavors of the crab cake. The sandwich came with shoestring fries. Personally, I think shoestring fries are a waste, this is why I gave the review 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that, I like the take out concept and the inside of the restaurant is very clean.
