I ordered the chef special which was pork chops and it was very dry. After tasting that, I doubt I'll try the steak. I will come back but not for the food. Ambience/Vibe is what you come here for and the drinks of course.

Parking was a bit tough with some of the construction and that also had me concerned that we wouldn't be able to be seated quick however this place has tons of seating. Inside, outside and the bar area all designed for space to sit and just visually welcoming and therefore we were seated with zero wait. Given a few menus and then some waters though the drinks looked really delicious just wasn't a good time but next time. We ordered the brussel sprouts as an appetizer and the short rib ragu pappardelle. Unfortunately they both came at the same time but small mistakes shouldn't be overblown especially when Megan our waitress was extremely attentive and awesome. Brussels were okay nothing special but that short rib was FIRE! We asked for the horseradish crème friache on the side and honestly was a great call. Not because it was to spicy which was the concern for my wife avoiding it but because the meal was perfect without it! Very excited to come back and maybe catch a few other things to taste maybe even on HappyHour at the bar.

Took maybe 5 minutes for a foodserver to show; but I get it re: really busy. Also, a hostess showed up at maybe the 3-minute point and said a foodserver would be with us within a few minures.. Fair enough. Fooderver was fast and efficient. We ordered a few drinks and a couple food items. Beer for the Mrs and a 2X vodka for me. Club sandwich for the wife and wings for me. All served fairly quickly. All quite tasty. Foodserver listened to a couple of my jokes and history comments; was really cool with listening to my BS stories. The wings and the sandwich were quite tasty. No negative comments at all. Reasonble price. Very good service. Very good food. Have to rate it a "5", most definitely.

The staff is always so friendly and helped make my dad's birthday wonderful in march. This last time we came it was Tuesday and so no burger monday specials. I tried the fish and chips and it was alright. Would I get it again? No. One of the pieces had a hard part in it. There was no delicious crispy crunch. I would try something else or just stick with a burger. Wish there was a bubbas close to tempe!

Don't let the exterior fool you into thinking it is a fancy/expensive restaurant. Inside, the service and the vibe is like a neighborhood hangout. They have a great patio with cornhole and other activities for groups/families. The patio is also dog friendly. The FOOD!! We came by for brunch one weekend and had the best chicken fried steak I think I've ever had. They call it cajun style but it was not spicy...maybe a little smokey flavor to the gravy. We also had the build your own mimosa. It was fantastic. One evening we had a burger. It was so big that we were able to split it. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The fries were amazing too. The first time we came by The Social it was for a late night drink on my birthday. I got one of the dessert martinis and it was so good! We've also had wine, and a delicious seasonal sangria. The service has always been prompt and friendly. It feels like the staff all like each other, and like their guests. The bar area is fun and welcoming. If you have not tried this place, you should!!

While not a large dining experience, there are several different eating space options including a dog friendly patio. One of the quirks of S83 is the amount of live, and advertised, music. This can be loud after reverberating off the patio but the play list while we were there had everyone signing along and playing cornhole. Our server was also great with a lot of our requests and questions about the menu. We landed on Wagyu Social Burgers and White Cod Fish Tacos for the win. Tip: pay the $4 for an extra taco they are worth it. Also on the menu is a diverse drink menu with craft cocktails and a Brunch option with lots of breakfast staples. At the End of the Day the Happy Hour, live music / DJ, and menu offer up a great experience that makes repeat visits worth the drive to the Arrowhead area.

I swear to God, this is such an odd place! The dichotomy between old and young still perplexes me…read more The majority of the clientele is elderly....think 80+. The majority of the employees (the servers, at least) are 25 and under. Plus, this place gives off Greek restaurant vibes, like the kind where you can get a gyro, spaghetti, or chow mein all in the same place: jack of all, master of none. You think it's all going to be tasteless food, but you would be oh so wrong. Mom and dad (80+, but with it) ordered liver and onions, I got an open faced turkey sandwich, and hubs got country fried sirloin. Everyone agreed that their food was delicious. I can't speak to the others, but for me, the turkey was moist, not dry, and the gravy (which they drenched over my turkey without asking, thank you very much) had really good seasoning to it...not overly peppery like at most places. The mashed potatoes were soft, not chunky, my side of corn was very buttery and NOT served in a bowl of corn water, and my cranberries were from a can (THE BEST KIND, and yes I WILL FIGHT YOU on this). We all ordered pie for dessert and I should have went with everyone else and gotten Key Lime, but I chose cherry. It wasn't the greatest of flavor as, even though there were real cherries in it, it was predominantly cherry flavored goo. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised, and I would come here again. But only with my parents, because I think hubs and I were the only people under 60, lol. 10/2026
