I don't even know where to begin! From the planning phase to execution Chef Paulette was top notch. I contacted her to be our chef for the week while we were in Bar Harbor celebrating my Mom's 80th birthday. Not only was the food AMAZING, but so was Paulette and her staff. They hosted a total of 7 full meals for us, breakfast and dinner - and it was magical! One of the meals was a picnic dinner for our boat trip where she met us at the doc with wonderful delectables. From clam chowder to lobster rolls to surf 'n turf dinner - our bellies were so happy. We left with new family! Chef Paulette and her team were a gift from above! They created two outstanding dinners for a group of 7 which included vegetarians, vegans, pescatarians, an 18 mo old baby, and a birthday celebration. Needless to say we were a challenging group to work with! Paulette and her team took on the challenge of cooking for our family with enthusiasm, grace, and good cheer. She designed menus using fresh and organic ingredients, created meals for our diverse bunch that were delicious and beautifully presented, and well-received by all. Being able to stay at home but have a 5-star dining experience was one of the highlights of our trip to Maine. Chef Paulette is amazing! I just hosted a week long writer's retreat in Maine and I can't even imagine doing another such event without her. She's hilarious, fun, a real pro, and of course the food was absolutely fantastic, and we put her through her paces. She created all kinds of delicious and beautifully-presented vegetarian, vegan and seafood-based breakfasts and dinners, and did special request creations on the side for those with dietary restrictions. She kept her good humor despite power outages, a temperamental oven and dishwasher, and a possessed microwave. One thing I really love is that she's super inventive about how to make good use of leftovers, so food never goes to waste, and she leaves a clean and tidy kitchen each time she heads out. She and her terrific staff (big shout out to Tanya!!) work unbelievably hard, not only on-site, but off-site, too. She's flexible, easy-going, a joy to be with, and she made our week together ever-so-special. Thank you SO much, Chef Paulette. You have a new friend for life! read more

Chef Paulette is one of those few creative professionals that exceed all expectations! She worked with us to curate a beautiful event with great detail to the menu and a sophisticated twist on surf & turf (with one of the most flavorful steaks ever). Her thoughtfulness to every guests' preferences made our party a smashing success. From cocktail hour to dessert, Paulette and her staff attentive and personable, while still giving us space to mingle. We just recently had an amazing and unforgettable dining experience with Chef Paulette in Maine! Chef Paulette worked her magic just for the two of us and one other couple - what a treat it was! We requested a diverse and delicious seafood menu including mussels, scallops, and cod) - each of which was to die for! The main event was, of course, preceded by an amazing Charcuterie Board spectacularly crafted and presented!! Chef Paulette is not only an amazingly skilled and professional chef ... she is a delight to be with!! Paulette shared countless insights and tips throughout her preparation of our dinner as she graciously allowed us to share the kitchen with her as she prepared all aspects of our meal ... what an education! Last night had a meal from Chef Matt , who doesn't have a yelp individually but it was Chef Paulette who I called and who helped me organize everything with Matt. We wanted a private chef for a 30th birthday party with 6 guests. We all had dietary restrictions and Matt did an amazing job working around that while using seasonal Maine ingredients. He was friendly, on time, and best of all the food was INCREDIBLE!! He not only did the three planned courses, but threw in a couple of bonus additions, and helped us organize a wine pairing.
