The menu options are posted on an electric board above a buffet-style food choices, like Panda Express. The staff serving the food does not speak English well, so knowing Spanish is helpful but not entirely necessary. The food.... DELICIOUS! I wanted to try everything, but stuck to our standard Cuban sandwich, black beans, yuca, and fried plantains. All were delicious and the yuca was the softest that I have ever had. Yum!!

The buffet looked like it had been waiting since last Christmas. Food was colder than my ex's heart, flies were holding hands around the trays like it was their family reunion, and the tables were so sticky I thought I had accidentally walked into a tar pit exhibit. But wait--it gets better. A few hours later, my poor little daughter got sick. And not just a tummy ache--oh no. We're talking explosive diarrhea and puking like she was auditioning for a firehose commercial. That's when I realized: there's a reason this place only has two reviews. So take my advice: unless you want your "all-you-can-eat" experience to turn into an "all-night bathroom marathon," stay far, far away. 1/5 - only because Yelp won't let me go negative.

The second you walk in, you're hit with a TON of options, donuts, pastries, cakes, guava and cheese…read moretreats, turnovers, and more. Definitely one of those places where you walk in planning to grab one thing and suddenly want everything in the display case. I kept it simple and grabbed an apple turnover and a cinnamon sugar donut, and my total was only $4.00! In 2026, getting two fresh bakery items for four bucks almost feels illegal lol. Both were fresh and really good. The cinnamon sugar donut was soft with just the right amount of sugar, and the apple turnover had that flaky outside with plenty of flavor inside. The bakery itself was clean, had plenty to choose from, and I also liked seeing all the Puerto Rican flavors and options throughout the cases

Staff is friendly and patient since it was our first time and there are so many options to choose from. They have a big bakery selection, sandwiches, snacks, and your meals that come with rice, beans, a side, and protein of choice. They had a good variety and it all looked delicious. They also offer coffee and juices. I did order a few snacks: empanadilla and alcapuria both very good. Also had a plate with fried pork chunks, rice and pigeon peas and yuca. Very good portion and food was flavorful. I will say the empanadillas, alcapurrias, quesitos, etc are a bit over priced and are a little on the small size for the price point. But overall really enjoyed it.

The staff will ask how many pastries you want so they know what size box to give you. I went with an almond pastry with cheese filling, a guava popover, a flaky glazed pastry, and a slice of cake with a pineapple and coconut topping. Everything was delicious but the star was the pineapple coconut cake. I thought it was just a regular pound cake with a pinapple marmalade on top but the cake was actually soaked in a pineapple syrup of some kind and I finished the whole thing in one go! Highly recommend. The space is open and seems to have plenty of seating, the displays are well lit and the staff was all very kind. Will certainly be back!

Some of the hot food in the line looked very dry (pernil) and some other options We decided to order some sandwiches instead. We ordered a tripletta and a medianoche. The tripletta all right, the medianoche was dry and barely had flavor. I had to ask for extra mayo and mustard. Finally we ordered quesitos. They were good. There was not alot of filling inside. The pastry was soft and had a bit of crunch to it. I dont know if there is new owners, a change in the recipes that has changed but it was not a great experience. It was disappointing. I would say if there was another bakery option, I would drive the extra miles for better quality food.

It was very nostalgic for me because they had Coqui sounds and traditional Puerto Rican music playing in the background. Everything was clean and organized. Every wall, design and detail was just so amazing. Food came out pretty quickly and so fresh! I was not expecting the amount of food we got so I ended up taking some home. I ordered a plate that came with 2 fried eggs, the most thickest and yummiest bacon and freshly baked bread. If you order a sandwich, just know you will have plenty left over for lunch time because they are pretty big. If you are looking for a nice breakfast spot with good coffee, good food and good ambience I'd recommend coming here! 10/10

I ordered it with just mayo, but it came out with both mayo and ketchup, which I had specifically asked to avoid. Unfortunately, that was disappointing. On the other hand, my husband ordered a breakfast sandwich and really enjoyed it. The service left a lot to be desired. When we mentioned it was our first visit, the cashier didn't offer any guidance or explanation about the menu. We had to ask several questions, and it felt like that was met with frustration rather than helpfulness. The wait time for our food was also quite long. While we were waiting, a few regular customers came in, and it was clear they received much warmer service and even got their orders before we did. Overall, it wasn't a great experience, and it didn't feel very welcoming to new customers. Unfortunately, I don't plan on returning.

So of course, when I went to Pal Campo Restaurant, I had to order the paella. I didn't dine in this time, I grabbed it to go. First impression? They definitely got my attention because there was a big ol' lobster sitting right on top! Now THAT is how you introduce me to a plate of paella. The flavor was really good, the seafood was good, and overall I enjoyed it. My one issue was the peppers and onions. There were a LOT of big chopped pieces that I could clearly see and taste, and for me, that was a little bit of a turnoff. I prefer everything in my paella to blend together a little more. But did that stop me from eating it? Absolutely not. And here's the funny part. I ate the leftovers the next day and somehow it tasted even better! Maybe everything just needed a night to get acquainted because that second-day paella was hitting. So, as your self-appointed traveling paella inspector, I'm giving this one a 8/10. The flavor was there. The lobster definitely earned some extra points. I just needed those peppers and onions to calm down a little bit.
