If you're at World Food Trucks in Kissimmee, you have to make a stop at Los Cipotes. Their food is packed with flavor and really stands out from the crowd. I started with a classic pupusa stuffed with cheese, which was gooey and comforting, but the birria pupusa completely blew me away. It was savory, cheesy, and just plain delicious. The drinks were just as memorable. Their limeade was bright and refreshing, not your typical overly sweet lemonade. I also tried the passionfruit drink, and honestly, it might be my new favorite; fruity, tangy, and super refreshing on a hot day. For a bigger meal, I went with the steak served with rice and beans, and it was perfect. The meat was tender and seasoned beautifully, and the beans had that home-cooked flavor you can't fake. The whole plate felt hearty and satisfying. On top of great food, the staff was welcoming and kind, which made the experience even better. Los Cipotes has quickly become one of my top choices at World Food Trucks, and I'll definitely be back for more. Of all the food trucks at World Food Trucks, we decided on Los Cipotes once we saw they had bandeja paisa. My boyfriend and I decided to split one, & thankfully we did because the ordere are HUGE. Though a bit pricey (total came out to a little over $25), it's somewhat justified by the portion sizes. Wait time took around 20 minutes - something to keep in mind if you're looking to grab something quickly instead. The bandeja paisa comes with rice, beans, plantains, steak, chicharron, sausage, avocado, egg, and an arepa. Things that they absolutely nailed include the chiccharon, steak, and plantains. Chicharron was perfectly fried and crispy, and came with a heaping portion! The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked, and had a great fat to meat ratio that made it absolutlely delicious. Things that missed the mark on the other hand include the rice & beans. Rice was definitely undercooked and grains were gritty and hard, and the beans were a bit underseasoned as well. Definitely not the best Colombian food I've had, but it was decent and generously portioned. Service is a bit slow. read more

There's no better feeling in the world than craving something and having that craving satisfied. That is what happened to me today. The empanadas were amazing. The sauce they serve with it will send you to the moon! The pupusas were delicious, and the curtido (think of pickled cabbage) was chef's kiss. The salchipapa was good, a little heavy handed with the sauce. Now for the not so pleasant. They do not open at 12 as mentioned in yelp. I was in the lot at 11:45. The person who opened was merely setting up at 11:50. At around 12:10 I asked what time they opened and he said maybe a half hour. The only reason I waited is because there are no Colombian or Salvadorian places by where I live ( 2 hours away). Perhaps updating hours of operation is in order. Having said that, am I glad I waited? Yes! Would I have waited if there were other trucks that offered the same food, probably not. read more

I'll start by saying I used to love this place so much. I came here in 2019 the first time and fell in love with the pupusas so I made it to point to get some whenever I come to visit Florida. This time around I came twice, once in April and again yesterday. I waited 30 minutes yesterday for an order of 2 pupusas and yuca con chicharron, and it really wasn't busy. I feel that the quality has changed so much. I got yuca con chicharron and the yuca was so dry and not crispy and for the chicharron I got many pieces that were just fatty. As for the pupusas, they weren't sealed well at all and when I got to eating them they were both already pretty open all over the edges. One of my pupusas was had too much masa and not enough cheese. The horchata de morro had a good flavor but was extremely watered down. I will try them once again next time I visit Florida and I'm hoping I fall in love with their food all over again. read more

We had 3 pupusas and a pupuburger (their burger and pupusas combination) and it was delicious! It was the perfect amount of everything, and I would definitely come back and enjoy the food! I did read another comment about the Pupusas "falling apart"; however, it was the right amount of "falling apart". The way my grandma makes her pupusas is really stiff, as in she uses more masa making them thicker. But, these weren't as thick as i've usually had and I liked them a lot more! But don't tell my grandma. You're able to taste every flavor and the masa isn't overpowering. Also the Pupuburger, truly the best. I can't believe I've never seen anything like it. Highly recommend, especially if you're a burger fanatic. Thanks for the good food! read more

I drive all the way from Brandon to get pupusas from here ! They are by far the best I have had in the 11yrs I've been in Florida ! Yes there are a few places local in Tampa that serve the same food but they have nothing on here... Pupusas are a good I grew up with Salvadoran food in general and this will hit home everytime! To my taste I did not like the food and the service , maybe that day I visited in the wrong day, because a see other comments and all are good.
