Menu. I ordered the capatcha and beef arepa
    Wendy N.

Fantastic! Ordered a beef arepa and the sweet corn pancake (capatcha). Both were amazing and HUGE! I ordered it as I was getting on the highway so I didn't take a pic, but the menu pic below is spot on. Definitely authentic Venezuelan food. Very clean and spacious. I will definitely stop in again!

This place has exceptional choices of empanadas. I liked the variety of choices they offered. I ordered pabellon and shredded beef options. The beef one tasted good. But the pabellon didn't feel like it. I believe I had better pabellon elsewhere. The pabellon in here didn't have much of cheese, juice in the beef, and not much of black beans. Oh well, hoping they could use this review as point of inflection and improvement : )

    Tequenos

I went the other night for dinner and they were closing but stayed open just for us. I was greatly surprise with the high quality Tequenos and real Venezuelan food. The service was awesome all the time ;)

Arepa Cabimera, was sooooooo good! The cheese mixed with pico de gallo just took it to a whole different level.

You definitely won't be disappointed, the food was prepared very quick. It's self served if they're not busy they will bring it to the table. Over all everything was really good. How disgustingly satisfied, I pigged out! I even drank all my fruit drink in flavor parchita, my bf had the guanábana and he loved it!

I totally love this place because it is authentic Venezuelan food. I come quite often, and this time I redeemed a free item, that you are able to get after the fifth or sixth visit. The lady, one of the owners is always friendly and welcoming. I tried for the second one of their burgers which was delicious. I highly recommend it!

    Pabelon

Stopped by for a snack to check it out for the first time. What a treat it was. The pabelon is soooo good and filling. It's in a little plaza off 1-92, surrounding business seem a little slow. The lady who runs the front is so sweet and hospitable. They have this drink made from sugar cane and lime and it's so good omg. One star removed because it was overpriced for the area and facility. Everything seemed to be DIY in the restaurant, which I like and find quirky but, again, adjust pricing for lower scale eateries. We had 2 pabelons, 5 empanadas and drinks and it was $61 with a tip. If you see what each item is you'd be surprised at the final bill. Overall, I'll come back. But it won't be a regular thing as there are no kids meals to differ the cost a bit (I roll w 3 kids and hubby).

Best freaking Venezuelan burger in town. Hands down. The Callejera (Street Burger) Angus beef served on a fresh bun loaded with bacon, muenster cheese, fried egg, ham, avocado, tomato, garnished with salsa verde, ketchup, and mustard. This is my third time here and surprised it wasn't on Yelp. Had to add this business asap. Great place, everything done by hand and freshly made. Nothing frozen. Awesome food truck!! This is a must try in Orlando. They are putting Venezuela on the map.

The cheese empanada was good. The beef empanada was a little tasteless. Tequenos were good. The place could look a lot better and cleaner. Not bad but I've had better venezuelan food.

    La arepa cabimera
    Sandy W.

You should try the Arepa Cabimera. It's a fried arepa topped with beef, slaw, cheese, ham, and hard-boiled eggs. Very filling and absolutely delicious. The array of sauces they have is pretty awesome. The garlic sause and the picante were my favorite.

You order at a kiosk fast food style, but all of the food is then prepared freshly and authentically. They have a huge menu with all kinds of delicious Latin eats like sandwiches and platters. We absolutely loved our Cuban sammies which came on thick and sweet bread. My kids kept it simple with tenders and fries and also enjoyed! They have a big drink selection and you can find everything from juices to fresh cocktails. The biggest hit was their large indoor screened patio - perfect for my kids to run around. If you want to avoid fast food but also don't feel like taking your kids to a proper sit down restaurant than this is a really great option.

We visited around 3:15pm on a Saturday and ordered at a tablet. I got a pernil with plantains and my companion got a churrasco. I also got their limited time St Paddy's day mocktail. It was kind of like a virgin apple mojito and it was really good and refreshing. The pernil was excellent as usual: well sauced and tender and juicy. The churrasco was beautifully cooked and seasoned. They always knock it out of the park here with their meats. The plantains were of course delicious as usual, and the service was great. My only comment is that I could've sworn that this place had Alfajores a few years ago. I could be wrong, but I vaguely recall them being delicious and I was sad to not see them on the menu this time. Any way you roll the dice, you won't regret coming to sofrito. They're quick, it's well priced, and the food has never disappointed me in my 7 years of going here.

Ok this has to be my favorite restaurant in Orlando and I loved the food so much. Alfredo was my…read moreserver and he had the best recommendation and I loved it. The empanada came LOADED with shredded beef and this empanada didn't skimp out on quality. It tastes so good when you dip it with the green sauce and it was chef's kiss. I think this is the best empanada I ever had and when I tried other empanada, it doesn't even compare to this. I ordered another dish but I forgot the name and it's soo good. I was a little disappointed because the menu said pick 3 sides and I chose all beef. Alfredo didn't mention to me that there would be an additional charge for the beef. As a result, I had to pay an additional $10 which was very pricey and didn't find out until I received my bill and saw the charge. I didn't make any complaints because the employees seem not to speak English well and it's hard to be a foreigner trying to adapt to the culture and the language. But this is soo good and I can see why the reviews on yelp are all stellar.

I live close, so have come here quite a bit over the year…read more Pro- Just got renovated, so it looks pretty. The staff is nice, and the food is good. They also have lunch specials, which is nice. Cons- There is ALWAYS a weird perm smell when you go. It literally smells like someone is perming their hair, so not good. Another con is sometimes it takes long to get your food. And last but not least, I think their prices are not reasonable lately. Some of the prices do not match their menu, not sure when they raised their prices but I have never ever heard of a patacon costing almost $26 anywhere, and I frequent a lot of Venezuelan spots. Their name went from Q'Kenan restaurant to Q'Kenan Steakhouse so maybe now they just raised all the prices, I don't know. Their most expensive patacon on the menu is the one with Picańha and it says $17...yet I got charged 25.90. Regardless of how good something is, there shouldn't be a $9 difference from what is on the menu. That is absurd. On my last trip- $43 for an empanada, tequeńos and a patacon just doesn't sound right for Venezuelan food, and I come from living in Miami where restaurants are supposed to be more expensive. Add a tip and you're paying over $50 for street food. That's wild.

Food quality was mixed: The Combo #1 arepas masa arrived too hard and chicken and beef fillings too dry. Speaking of which, the sauces we paid for as add-ons were not included [we ordered 2 and received 0]. The empanadas masa was tasty, but filings were also dry - again, if the sauces we ordered would've come with our order, perhaps our review would be very different. The cachapas masa was waaaaay too sweet. With less sugar in the masa, they would've been perfect. The cheese was bomb - delicious. Tequeños were the best of our entire order - hard to mess up fried cheese sticks! "Steak and sausage were made for sauce" - verbatim comment from my husband about the Parrilla Mixta Venezolana. This restaurant has tons of potential - just make your meats with sauce and fill those bags of delivery orders to the brim with sauces (and utensils and napkins, pretty please?) and you're pretty much set for 5*!
