This place has exceptional choices of empanadas. I liked the variety of choices they offered. I ordered pabellon and shredded beef options. The beef one tasted good. But the pabellon didn't feel like it. I believe I had better pabellon elsewhere. The pabellon in here didn't have much of cheese, juice in the beef, and not much of black beans. I stood at the front counter, no other customers around, two employees chatting with each other, I was there for 4 minutes without being acknowledged or greeted, finally, I had to say, good morning! Stopped by for a snack to check it out for the first time. What a treat it was. The pabelon is soooo good and filling. It's in a little plaza off 1-92, surrounding business seem a little slow. The lady who runs the front is so sweet and hospitable. They have this drink made from sugar cane and lime and it's so good omg. One star removed because it was overpriced for the area and facility. Everything seemed to be DIY in the restaurant, which I like and find quirky but, again, adjust pricing for lower scale eateries. We had 2 pabelons, 5 empanadas and drinks and it was $61 with a tip. If you see what each item is you'd be surprised at the final bill. Overall, I'll come back. But it won't be a regular thing as there are no kids meals to differ the cost a bit (I roll w 3 kids and hubby). read more

Best freaking Venezuelan burger in town. Hands down. The Callejera (Street Burger) Angus beef served on a fresh bun loaded with bacon, muenster cheese, fried egg, ham, avocado, tomato, garnished with salsa verde, ketchup, and mustard. Gave this a try with my girlfriend. We're both Venezuelan, so we know what to expect from a street vendor. The ambiance was really good, reminded me of the food trucks that I used to eat at back in my country. I ordered an arepa, "reina pepiada" style (avocado chicken salad) and she ordered a Pepito (think Philly cheese steak, but loaded and better). Waiting time was a little bit on the long side since we had some other orders, and they had to cook arepas from scratch. The dough was really good, however, the reina pepiada filling felt more like a sauce or dip than an actual salad. It had WAAAAAY too much mayo. Did not sit too good in my stomach, had to get some Pepto-Bismol after. :( GF said her pepito was good for being a truck outside Venezuela. I guess next time I'll stick to burgers! read more

Took a chance on this Venezuelan food truck and it was a good choice. We both had arepas (one chicken and one pork). Both were tasty and fresh (it took almost 15 minutes), but at the price we thought there should've more to it. It wasn't totally disappointing and I would consider stopping again, but there were minimal ingredients in the making and for Pete's sake, it's "street food" made and served in a food truck...these places should intrinsically have low prices because of the low overhead. read more

There is a guy there, I think is the owner, and if he is the owner, he should be shame of himself because he lacks customer services. You should try the Arepa Cabimera. It's a fried arepa topped with beef, slaw, cheese, ham, and hard-boiled eggs. Very filling and absolutely delicious. The array of sauces they have is pretty awesome. The garlic sause and the picante were my favorite. read more

Cashier was not paying attention to us because I specifically said one of the Arepas could not have any cheese because he is allergic to milk ( lactose intolerant but that's to complicated to explain ) I even spoke Spanish to him and they still gave us cheese in it!!! We didn't complain because it took 15 mins to receive our food and only 1 person ordered 2 hot dogs before us AND they had 3 people in the truck 1st one texting right on the window 2nd one taking orders and not paying attention to us 3rd one cooking up / reheating the frozen food. Had the Pollo Pepito after a night of drinking.. I can't even tell if it was because of the drinking or the actual place, but dear GOD, it was so good..
