I have to admit I was not in the best mood when I arrived. I didn't mean to give attitude... but Marleeis (I hope that's how I spell her name) Handled me very well. She was so polite even tho I was bitchy! She did a great job on calming me down just by doing her job and being genuine I'm definitely coming back here, with a better attitude lol Thank you Marluis(I hope i spelled her name right) for saving the day!

My first time ever trying Arepas and all I got to say is that I'm not a fan. Went because someone told me (in general) how good Venezuelan Arepas were, but sorry, was not convinced. I won't say I will never try them again, but for sure at another place I will. I did not know what to order, so the waiter a very sweet young man recommended the Avocado, Chicken and Cabbage filling Arepa. This did not have any taste, was too mushy and the Chicken was not fresh. It tasted like chicken from a can. Again, I will probably give them another chance but definitely not here. I was not given the side salsa's either. When I got home I realized they were not included. I guess if you do not ask, you do not get.

My sister was craving Venezuelan Arepas and I've never had one before so it was the perfect lunch opportunity. This restaurant is located in the plaza with the Ross and DD's Discount; plenty of parking spots available. The sign outside their restaurant states to call to place a pickup order. There's a lot of options on their menu but I just went with the Especial Latin Fork 1 since it's named after the restaurant sooo it has to be one of their popular ones right? My sister got her usual La Boricua and exchanged the yellow cheese to the white cheese. Masks are enforced when entering. There was a couple dining inside but most customers who came in where pickup and I noticed a lot were regulars. I was not expecting this arepa to be packed! This is totally worth the money and it is a very filling meal. I was very satisfied with my arepa. I didn't need to add any additional sauces, the flavors were all there and it was not dry. The arepa had a nice crispy outside layer and the melted cheese was delicious. Would definitely recommend visiting this place.

This was delivery just for one. Quick lunch for yours truly. Very good although not too crazy that they add chicken salad to their stuffed arepas. I had the chicken stuffed arepa with pink sauce. That sauce is the BOMB . Had a passion fruit juice that was so so. Will order again just for a quick lunch and another meat selection. Maybe next time I'll ask them to leave out the chicken salad.

My husband had the Peruvian shrimp with yellow rice, salad, and black beans. We were both raving about the taste while eating. They have a range of dishes from across Latin America, and lots of gluten free options. They aren't safe for celiacs though. They use a shared fryer. If you are super sensitive or have celiac, just beware of that. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. Conveniently located in the theme parks area near Orlando. You should not miss this restaurant. Try something new if you've never tasted Latin American cuisine, or try it if you've grown up with it. You won't go wrong and you'll likely be back.

Sofrito was amazing…read more We wanted something fast, but not fast food with a large seated area outside. This checked off all of our boxes. You order at a kiosk fast food style, but all of the food is then prepared freshly and authentically. They have a huge menu with all kinds of delicious Latin eats like sandwiches and platters. We absolutely loved our Cuban sammies which came on thick and sweet bread. My kids kept it simple with tenders and fries and also enjoyed! They have a big drink selection and you can find everything from juices to fresh cocktails. The biggest hit was their large indoor screened patio - perfect for my kids to run around. If you want to avoid fast food but also don't feel like taking your kids to a proper sit down restaurant than this is a really great option.

Ok this has to be my favorite restaurant in Orlando and I loved the food so much. Alfredo was my…read moreserver and he had the best recommendation and I loved it. The empanada came LOADED with shredded beef and this empanada didn't skimp out on quality. It tastes so good when you dip it with the green sauce and it was chef's kiss. I think this is the best empanada I ever had and when I tried other empanada, it doesn't even compare to this. I ordered another dish but I forgot the name and it's soo good. I was a little disappointed because the menu said pick 3 sides and I chose all beef. Alfredo didn't mention to me that there would be an additional charge for the beef. As a result, I had to pay an additional $10 which was very pricey and didn't find out until I received my bill and saw the charge. I didn't make any complaints because the employees seem not to speak English well and it's hard to be a foreigner trying to adapt to the culture and the language. But this is soo good and I can see why the reviews on yelp are all stellar.

I live close, so have come here quite a bit over the year…read more Pro- Just got renovated, so it looks pretty. The staff is nice, and the food is good. They also have lunch specials, which is nice. Cons- There is ALWAYS a weird perm smell when you go. It literally smells like someone is perming their hair, so not good. Another con is sometimes it takes long to get your food. And last but not least, I think their prices are not reasonable lately. Some of the prices do not match their menu, not sure when they raised their prices but I have never ever heard of a patacon costing almost $26 anywhere, and I frequent a lot of Venezuelan spots. Their name went from Q'Kenan restaurant to Q'Kenan Steakhouse so maybe now they just raised all the prices, I don't know. Their most expensive patacon on the menu is the one with Picańha and it says $17...yet I got charged 25.90. Regardless of how good something is, there shouldn't be a $9 difference from what is on the menu. That is absurd. On my last trip- $43 for an empanada, tequeńos and a patacon just doesn't sound right for Venezuelan food, and I come from living in Miami where restaurants are supposed to be more expensive. Add a tip and you're paying over $50 for street food. That's wild.
