Anyway, she was super kind and helpful, which is lovely when you have 2 feral kids being total poop heads all the time. We got a yogurt parfait, egg platters, grits and pancakes and everything came out hot and tasty. My only complaint was that the grits were not great, but my grit standards are high. Not cheesy or flavorful enough for me, but fine. My kids liked them and honestly that's good enough for me.

I was about 25 minutes away, when I took my family here, and they were wondering where we were going, but let me tell you, they were not disappointed by the food, service and the surround area. When we arrived, it seemed like a downtown area that was kind of chill because it was a Tuesday early evening. Barely any traffic around and tons of open parking, especially right in front to the restaurant. From the front I noticed some funny signs, a patio that was wide open for seating, yard games and a nice cozy dive bar vibe. When we went inside, we were immediately greeted at the counter by our server. It was not busy, there was actually only one customer sitting at the bar. The bar has about 6 seats and has TVs to watch and the restaurant if filled with tons of cool Classic Rock pictures, memorabilia and quotes. It was just the vibe we needed to just hang as a family. The server allowed us to pick any table we wanted. We ordered margaritas. They were delicious. We also has the RIBS, okra, mac & cheese, potato salad, some greens, cornbread, brisket, grilled cheese sandwich and fries. EVERYTHING, including the SERVICE was on point; we left well fed, satisfied and happy we found this place to eat tonight. To walk off the food , there is a park right across the street. At the park you will find food trucks for dessert, like ice cream on a hot day. There's also a walking trail and a play ground for the kiddos. There was an area where people were fishing off the doc. I saw an area where people also get married and a facility for our veterans. I included some pictures of what I saw along my way after I left the restaurant for people looking for things to do in the area with a family and/or friends. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend you stop by this restaurant for some good eats, drinks and just a place to relax and have a good time. There's also service is great and the area is filled with things to do afterwards. Thank me later.

Had an early start to the day on 11/11 and decided to swing by and I must say, that was a good decision. LOL! The service is courteous, friendly and quick. Very neat and clean little place. The interiors are fashioned after old European cafes. Very charming! We had the Bacon and egg bagel sandwich, the Spanish avocado toast, a cafe con leche and a mocha latte. The husband said his bagel sandwich was good, not great and could be better if the egg was seasoned. He loved his coffee. My mocha latte was good, could be better if the ratio of the chocolate was increased just a smidgen. But I was absolutely blown away by the Spanish avocado toast! What a delicious combination of quality Spanish chorizo, guacamole, boiled egg slices and onions! It was hands down the best thing I've had for breakfast in years! Offered the husband a bite and he concurred. If not for anything else, we'd definitely return for just this one dish. LOL! Highly recommend trying the Spanish avocado toast at Buchito. It's pure delight in every bite.

I waited for someone to wipe it down and even said multiple times it was dirty. Food was all over it, and on the floor. My son ended up wiping it out with his hands as best he could. There was still food in all the crevices surround the booth because they have a wooden lil around it. So I got to sit in a very uncomfortable position because I couldn't lean back. Then a customer came into the booth behind me and when he sat down it literally lifted us into the table. The menus were also sticky and filthy. So, we ordered and it was a disaster. My waffle was wrong. I said no butter, no powdered sugar, no bananas and I asked if I could have blueberries instead of bananas. The waiter said yes I could substitute. Then I asked for hash browns extra crispy. My son ordered chicken tenders and fries. His chicken was so burned it has black parts ALL OVER THEM! My waffle had all the things I said no to, and then he said I wasn't allowed to have blueberries, even though he had said I could substitute. So I had to remake my waffle correctly and they served me a raw waffle the second time. Also the hash browns were black on top and the inside was still raw. I said please take the food off my check because we weren't going to eat it and he only took the waffle off. I guess he expected me to eat raw hash browns and black chicken. They didn't even offer to remake the chicken tenders. Very disappointing experience. The server wasn't apologetic at all. We talked to him several times trying to get his attention to fix it, and he walked off every time, not acknowledging us. We were trying to make sure he heard our order because we weee tying to make sure food didn't get wasted, if he didn't put the order in correctly. I understand when you are busy, but because he ignored us multiple times the orders were wrong and food was wasted. Don't think we will return. Horrible experience. I don't recommend this place at all. I understand things are wrong and when that happens the least you can do is apologize and try to make it right. They only tried to fix my waffle and then it came back out raw. It was so gross I spit the bite out because it was nothing but raw batter. At least apologize! Didn't get any part of our order right, no apology, and we had to skip eating. We were both starving walking out of there.

First and foremost however, this is not a speakeasy, I'm not sure why it's called that I feel like it's a bit misleading but still great! It was not busy when I was there so there was no one dancing, but again... so much potential that I imagine this place is probably popping usually.. and the music was SO GOOD!! Lots of throw backs. Will definitely return !

It was good and not so good at the same time. They seemed in quite a rush. But yet there was not really too many people there. There are plenty of places to take cute Instagram pictures. However, that does not help the overall score of the rest of the experience. When we first arrived, we were instructed to review the menu at a seat-yourself station and then return to the front to place our order. There were some interesting and tasty-looking options to pick from. Unfortunately, I was a bit perplexed by the pricing on the menu versus what came up on the cash register. I ordered the Mixed Berries Crepes with Nutella ($11), and I was going to order a Strawberry Boba for $5, but instead my total was nearing $25 dollars?? The pricing did not match the menu. The cash register didn't seem very friendly. When I noticed my crepe read "Banana/Strawberry" instead of Mixed Berry. I clarified I was getting the correct order. She told me, "Yes, yes." (Spoil alert: I did not get the mixed berries but instead a Strawberry and Banana Crepe...) I paid, and then took the little marker flag with a number they give you so the waitresses can find the correct table to deliver the orders to. My coworker and I waited in the back for our orders. Although we ordered back-to-back, the orders were fulfilled at different intervals. When my order finally arrived, the waitress was looking for the right table to deliver it to. I raised my hand and said it was my order. She looked at me with scrutiny as if I were lying to her. ( What was the point of the flag marker with the number then, if you're uncertain of the order???) My crepe was pretty, but overall, it was okay in flavor and taste. It wasn't very hot, though, and was lukewarm. I would give the crepe a 3 out of 5 stars. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't anything I'd come running back for. The staff wasn't the friendliest and seemed confused and disorganized. I would not come back here again. Read the prior low reviews, as most of the complaints others have had with this establishment seem to be a running occurrence.
