Two to-go heaping Caribbean entrees with rice & beans, and a side of fried plantains, for $14.

Two entrees for $12 after 5p is quite a value! With a side of fried plantains it was only $14. It was one choice each of a filling Dominican-forward Caribbean-style stewed pork or chicken, with choice of rice and beans. What makes it 5-stars when it's buffet cafeteria-style food and some textures were perfect while others a touch dry? When the cost for different menu items isn't really clear and you gotta ask? When they close early at 7p? It's not enough to say, "Well it IS two heaping portions for $12! What do you expect?!" For us the really special thing was the incredible welcome from all three staff members helping serve us and check us out to-go. They offered us to taste-sample anything that we were considering notwithstanding us arriving 20 minutes before closing. They were patient and informative. Noticing that we were new visitors, they welcomed us to Florida and chit-chatted about our Orlando-area travel with their revolving-with-the-seasons-and-ingredients menu. Santiago's is a place that feeds people wholesomely, fairly, and with friendship. This is why soul food is called soul food. They are the kind of small eatery that helps hold a community together.

Being my lazy self I've always ordered delivery from Uber Eats multiple times and enjoyed the Authentic Latin food EVERY time. Finally ventured out to the establishment and encountered a buffet-style setup. The fresh food items aren't labeled but have no fear because they will be able to let you know. Definitely love the variety, generous portions, and great price! Random Note: I thought it was neat when ordering to go they'll wrap the box in saran wrap to help prevent messy spills!

This was actually a surprise. The restaurant is located right off the main road. Drive into the shopping area and it's right on a corner lot. Food is pretty typical of a Dominican restaurant in NYC. Prices are very good for the amount of food that you get. Lots of options available and fresh. The mofongo, the chicharron, the ensalada de lambi were all great. Only thing I wished they had: was family combos. So when I go there I say, give me combo #1 and just get it done. Keep up the great work.

I ordered the small soup. It had so much meat and vegetables in it. It was just what I needed.

Great meal. We have ordered delivery a couple of times but we dined in for the first time. Food is cafeteria style and plenty of choices. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Portions are HUGE and prices are great and the food is delicious.

This place is incredible, so glad I found it by accident. It's delicious authentic DR food. People are so nice, food is fresh, huge portions and the taste is incredible. You can't beat the price. I will always make sure to stop by here. They have so much more to offer, couldn't get a photo.

So glad that we tried this place based on just a few reviews (i believe thatit is very new). I love authentic Puerto Rican and similar food, and when I faced the lineup of wonder at Santiago's (see pictures) I did not know what to do. It all looked delicious. Arroz con habichuela, arroz con gandules (rice and beans/pigeon peas). Maduros (sweet plantains). Chicharrones - fried pork bellies. Beef and chicken Empanadas. Various stews and soups. Avocado salad looked delicious but I was over burdened by the time I reached the salads. My favorite was the mofongo (which is primarily mashed plantain, spices, garlic, broth, pork) must try it if you've never - and get it with caldo de pollo (chicken broth). No plot twists in this review- it was all as good as it looked. I ate way too much...and no regrets. Good prices. Clean, plenty of tables. Super friendly service. Can't wait to return.

The team member who took our order was friendly and welcoming. When our first batch of chicken came out, it seemed a little dry, like it had been sitting for a while. We mentioned it to her, and without hesitation she sincerely apologized and immediately had fresh chicken prepared for us. The difference was incredible! The freshly cooked chicken was hot, juicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. My daughter also ordered a chicken bowl and couldn't stop talking about how much she enjoyed it. The restaurant was kind of slow when we arrived but the lobby dined up pretty fast. It was also pretty clean. What really stood out was how the staff handled the situation. Instead of making excuses, they made it right, and that made all the difference. Great customer service, delicious fresh food, and a wonderful experience overall. 10/10 I would definitely recommend Pollo Tropical and will gladly stop by again!

Not many people eating there at that time though there were many people working there. Had to wait a while for the sweet plantains. They were delish but I thought the portion was small for the price. This was a nice little break from walking around the park & ended up being the last ride we went on, before leaving. The wait queue for this ride was definitely the LONGEST of all the rides we went on, guessing mainly for the nostalgia? (It was ~1 hr long wait vs the 20-30 min wait we experienced for all the other rides) The skipper we had really did make up for the atrocious wait time lol. I was reading up on this ride while in line & many people were saying your experience really depends on which skipper you get. Luckily, ours was pretty hilarious haha. I highly recommend trying to get on the boat & sitting close to the skipper, it's worth it!

There was quite a crowed when we got there so we really saved time with the passes. It's nice that we didn't have to set a time when we wanted to ride. It made the experience so much more enjoyable, not having to constantly look at our phones. This is a classic ride that's been around since October 1, 1971. Ther original version opened earlier at Disneyland California on July 17, 1955, the Florida version has served as a staple attraction of the parks since inception. Disneyland is our home park so I have ridden this ride before, but not in a long time, we just don't make it a priority with such long lines this ride brings. This was our first opportunity to ride this ride in Disney World and we loved it. It's a lot like going on the Safari in Animal Kingdom as there is a tour guide with you making corny jokes, but this ride has animatronic animals. No real ones like they have at Animal Kingdom. The nice thing is on the Jungle Cruise you get to get up close to the elephants. This is a ride for the light hearted. Nothing scary about this ride. It take all ages and sizes, you don't have to meet a certain height. You also can ride this ride in a wheelchair. There is one boat (there may be more then one boat, all I know is the boat behind us and someone in a wheelchair getting on it) that is ADA accessible and can take you in a wheelchair and you don't have to transfer out and walk down a step.
